We have a feeling that you will want to move right in after experiencing all that Turkey Creek Farmhouse has to offer!

We do house our friendly hens and rooster on the property next to the house. They are fully enclosed and will not be roaming around. Please feel free to enjoy watching them but do not try to feed them or otherwise touch them. If you are staying more than one night, we will be by to feed and water them once every two days for about 10 minutes, however we promise not to bother you at all during your stay. Our rooster, Stormy, does crow however we have provided sound machines in each bedroom so that you can still sleep in as late as you’d like.

Due to the nature of being located just outside of town, our WiFi access is not ideal. We do have WiFi, however it is not high speed, especially if trying to stream from multiple devices. Please know that another option is to use your personal hot spot on your mobile device if the WiFi is slower to stream on the smart TV's. We plan to upgrade as soon as it becomes available to our area.

- "We shared this house with my sister-in-law and her family, and it was so perfect for our two families. Four adults and eleven kids? No problem! Everyone had a bed, the older teens had spaces away from the younger kids, and there were plenty of bathrooms to go around. The kitchen had enough pots and pans and other cooking utensils for us to feed our small army, and there were plenty of plates and cutlery and glasses. We especially appreciated that there were plastic cups as well as glass ones so that we didn't have to worry about the younger kids using them.The ping pong table in the basement was a particularly big hit, and really great for breaking the ice amongst cousins who hadn't seen each other for a couple of years. The back yard is securely fenced in so even the youngest could play outside with out parents worrying about their getting lost.We couldn't quite figure out the fancy thermostat, but the host quickly answered our questions about it so we could adjust the temperature as needed.This is not a cozy house, but it was clean and bright, with lots of natural light. Everyone could spread out and spend time together without stepping on each others' toes, which was exactly what we needed."

- "Great Place! Very large bathroom, COOL upstairs (it was over 100 degrees when we stayed there. Was able to use the garage to keep things out of the weather. Just an all around; well kept up old home." - "My family travels to Nebraska once a year to visit family and friends in Lincoln and Omaha. Gretna is nicely located between all the people we need to stay. Our stay started a little shaky with the upper room being very hot. The hose to the free-standing A/C unit had come out from both the unit and the window, leading it spit out heat instead of cool air. However, the owner immediately sent over her husband to look at it, and we were able to secure the hose well enough to last for our trip. That first night it took well past the kids bedtime to cool the room to something tolerable, but that was the only issue we had with our stay. They later on brought a new fan over, but the room stayed cool enough when the hose was on properly. The kids enjoyed the playground in the backyard and the house fit our needs and was fairly priced. Although only having one bathroom, it was a very large bathroom with two sinks and great water pressure. I appreciated the tub liner to prevent slipping, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower as well. Plenty of towels. All in all, it was a good experience."

We also have a Labrador Retriever and while we do our best to keep tidy, you might spot a few hairs every now and again - if you have allergies to animals, this might not be the best place for you. We also have three children under five and so our home is very much "lived in" even though it's new. Our home is clean but don't be alarmed if you see the occasional marker on the wall.

We live in a quiet and safe suburban neighborhood and expect all Airbnb guests to be respectful of our neighbors by being conscientious regarding noise and maintaining quiet hours after 10pm.

You will be able to access both levels of the entire home via the front door keyless entry.

Other things to note
We do house our friendly hens on the property next to the house. They are fully enclosed and will not be roaming around. Please feel free to enjoy watching them but do not try to feed them or otherwise touch them. If you are staying more than one night, we will be by to feed and water them once every two days for about 10 minutes, however we promise not to bother you at all during your stay. **Note: we have rehomed our rooster so no more early morning wake up calls!**

Due to the nature of being located just outside of town, our WiFi access is not ideal. We do have WiFi, however it is not high speed, especially if trying to stream from multiple devices at once. Please know that another option is to use your personal hot spot on your mobile device if the WiFi is slower to stream on the smart TV's. We plan to upgrade as soon as it becomes available to our area at a reasonable cost.

We love to allow gatherings at our home. Due to extra foot traffic and cleaning, we charge an additional one time fee of $100 for gatherings of 14-25 and an additional $200 for gatherings of 25-50. We still only allow 13 guests overnight unless otherwise approved. Please contact me directly for approval if you plan on hosting a gathering of additional guests on the property.

You will enjoy your stay in our sparkling new renovation! The entire home was completely remodeled (from top to bottom, interior and exterior) in April 2023!

The space
You will enjoy your time with family and friends in this spacious and bright home! There is ample room for dining, relaxing and socializing. The two living spaces and all 5 bedrooms have large TV's with Roku. The TV in the family/game room has an Xbox One. There is also a collection of board games to play! You can effortlessly move your activities outside onto the two furnished decks and large acreage yard. You can enjoy grilling, lounging, playing and the amazing sunsets from the decks! There is a firepit in the yard close to the decks to enjoy in the evenings! There is ample parking for your group on the oversized driveway. This home has easy access to I-80.

Guest access
This home is solely for our guests, so you are able to enjoy the entire home! The only exceptions are the locked supply storage/utility closets inside the home and the outbuildings on the property.

Other things to note
The end of the driveway is right at the highway. Please use caution when entering and exiting the driveway. When entering, please make sure to use your turn signal in ample time for other cars to see your intent to turn. When exiting, please take your time to look both ways on the highway. Look and then look again before exiting. It is not an overly busy highway, however the oncoming traffic does not have any stop signals or signs in either direction. The driveway is large, so you have the ability to exit driving forward (you will not back out of the driveway).
