The Farmhouse at Lake Mac is truly a historic 1908 farmhouse that was moved to Lake Mac and updated in 1980. We sit just up the hill from Admiral’s Cove resort and Lemoyne Boat Launch and is a short half mile walk to the beach and bar. The covered front porch has views of the lake and sunsets while the walk out apartment has its own entry with so much privacy from the screen of cedar trees surrounding the yard, you’ll feel like you’re all alone!

The apartment has been completely remodeled in 2021 and offers two bedrooms, the master with a Queen bed and walk in closet, and the 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed that features a full and twin. There is also a twin sleeper sofa and a chaise lounge chair. The apartment can comfortably sleep 4 adults or up to 5 with kids.

The kitchen is fully furnished, the living room has a lift up coffee table and 42” tv, plus a dining room table and chairs. The sunroom offers the chaise with an electric fireplace and a 32” tv plus a workout Bow flex Tread Climber. Dish cable is provided along with high-speed wireless internet. A shared laundry room is also available.

The outside patio offers a full living area with a firepit and sun chaise loungers, while cooking outdoors is recommended with the extra-large Blackstone griddle and a gas grill with burners. A lovely garden surrounds the lower yard, which allows plenty of space for outdoor games. With the cedar tree row around the yard it makes for an enjoyable living area typically out of any wind that might come up at the lake.

The backyard area is so large there is even room to park a boat, 5th wheel or midsize motorhome. Electrical (110) and water hookups can be rented in addition to the apartment. It makes for a great family gathering location!

The Owner lives upstairs but is frequently away for work, which will leave the two resident cats, Sammi and Chai, coming and going on their own. This means that your dog is welcome as we love furry friends, provided they are quiet and well-behaved and don’t chase the cats!

Located at Kingsley Dam Resort, right before getting to Lake McConaughy. While the RV doesn't have the best view, you can enjoy some of the best sunsets within a short walking distance. You can also enjoy glamping with an indoor fireplace, beds and a toilet. Conveniently located right next to the Kingsley General Store, 7 minute drive to town and a 5 min drive to the best beaches at Lake Mac!

Sleep well in our tiny rustic cabin with one bunk bed (twin/full). Our farm is nestled in the beautiful Platte River valley. Perfect for those who love a country setting and fresh, clean air. Wonderful view of the sky and nearby hills. Plenty of space for relaxing walks. Firewood provided.
Our property is located about 3 miles north of I-80.
We have a NO PETS policy.

The space
We found this bunkhouse (circa 1930) abandoned in the pasture, missing its windows and door. We "rescued" it and added a bathroom and porch.

Here's what you get : Bunk bed with twin on top, full on bottom. Fresh bedding, of course!

Bathroom with shower. (Water heater is very small!!: 6 gal with a 30 min recovery time if completely drained). There is a heater and an AC unit. Screened window.

NO kitchen, however there's a small refrigerator /freezer, a microwave and a table and 2 chairs . Coffee maker, coffee, water kettle, tea bags, water bottles.

I no longer offer a hot breakfast as part of the stay. It is still an option for $15 extra/ person. If you wish to see a menu, please let me know. If not, I will provide some breakfast items in the bunkhouse for you which may include things like yogurt, granola, granola bars or cinnamon rolls.


Comfy hammock is entirely yours for the stay, as well as fire ring, charcoal grill, picnic table, and chairs. Firewood provided. Wi-fi available only in our home (porch, deck) on premises. Sometimes you get a signal in the bunkhouse area as well.

My husband, Jonathan, and I and our friendly labs, Boone and Elsa, welcome you!We love animals but the bunkhouse is tiny. So no pets, please!

Very comfortable 3 bedroom, 1 bath home that sleeps up to 7. All bedroom lamps are equipped with usb ports. Newly remodeled kitchen with new gas range, dishwasher, counters, backsplash, sink & faucet. The kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances, utensils, and dishes with complimentary snacks. The kitchen also offers usb ports on the power outlets. A coffee & tea bar, with a new keurig is located in the kitchen. The bathroom has been fully remodeled with new vanity, sink, shower, toilet, and faucets.

The Kottage is on a well & septic system so our guests need to be aware of our water consumption rules. Only registered guest of the Kottage are allowed to use the shower & washing machine. We request the use of the washing machine be kept to a minimum.

Also included with this listing is a propane grill, and adequate parking for boats & vehicles.

Wi-Fi, a smart tv, games & puzzles can be found within the home.

Other things to note
The Cabins are located right next to the Kingsley Mobile Home Court and Highway 61, so there will be done traffic noise. The rough storms peeled away some of the paint least year, but we are working on getting them repainted this summer!

Our property is conveniently tucked back right off the popular Martin Bay northeast side area of Lake Mac. Whether you are looking to be near several of the most popular beaches (less than 2 minute drive or 5-10 minute walk), or want the privacy of just your own group, our destination house will check all the boxes! Lake McConaughy offers amazing beaches, great fishing, miles of boating and jet skiing, and unlimited fun!

The space
Our spacious property is designed to relax & entertain! We have created a classy blend of a rustic lake house theme with 5-star accommodations and amazing lake views. The property sits on 1 acre, is nicely landscaped, and has a nicely manicured lawn for family yard games.

It has 5 bedrooms, with and extra open room (6th), and 3 bathrooms, which allows for multi-couples or large families to come together to experience the best of summer "glamping". Once you experience the sun setting while having a nice toddy or two with your family and friends on the lake view deck, you will clearly see why we call it our "Sandhills Oasis"!

The house is a walk-out ranch setup which allows for a very open concept. The kitchen area boast tasteful granite counter tops, and the main areas of the house has tile or wood flooring throughout. The upstairs two living rooms have comfy leather furniture and a 55" 4k Smart TV which will allow you to connect to your own streaming apps. Each bedroom has authentic log cabin style bedroom sets custom made from Montana, along with top of the line bedding. All kings and queen size beds feature an adjustable head and feet base to allow for that perfect night of sleep.

The basement area has a rec room that has a pool table and bar area that will become a hot spot for fun and entertainment. It also boast (2) 65" 4k smart TV's that will allow you to connect to your own streaming apps.

The property has ample parking featuring a 2 car garage and cement parking spaces to accommodate several vehicles. It also has a gravel area to park boats, jet ski's, etc.

*Please note the incline of the parking to get to the top of the hill is somewhat steep, for that reason we do NOT allow any other campers or 5th wheelers on the property.*

Lastly, the property has a propane grill (propane included), Wi-fi, fire pit (wood not provided), and other games for family fun.
