Wake up to beautiful views of the lake and enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious covered porch. Just a 3minute drive from I-81, this property is on the north side of the lake and very easy to get to. A big plus is shopping and restaurants only a few minutes away.

This property was our primary residence for 17 years. We now live in a home on an adjoining property, so we are close by. The property is at the end of a private drive that is well maintained and is very secluded but sits directly on the lake. We currently have two bedrooms ready to rent with a sleeping loft over the living room. It can sleep 6 people. There are three full bath rooms and a 1/2 bath in the laundry room.

The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and there is an outside grill for cook-outs. The living room dining room and kitchen are an open floor plan along with the upstairs loft. All living spaces have a wonderful view of the lake. There is a wrap around porch that over looks the lake, drive, and the woods around the house. There is also a gazebo with a swing. The top of the boat house and the floating dock come with the rental. There is a cement drive with a basketball backstop and a horse shoe pit.

A handmade one of a kind spiral staircase leads to a sleeping loft which has a full size futon and full bathroom. There is a full size pull-out sofa in the downstairs living area. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed with a private bathroom. There is also, a playpen for your convenience.

Wildlife (deer, lizards, migratory geese) was easy to find as well. Easy kayak rentals that deliver to, and pick up from, the dock. Steve and Laurie were easy to deal with and are right up the road for any questions. About 45 minutes to Va. Tech and to Floyd (little town with local artists’ galleries and great local food)."

- "The house was just a short drive off I-81, easy to find, sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and had great little touches like providing coffee and s'more fixings and allowing access to the kayaks and canoes. It's in a quiet area on a scenic cove with easy access to the main lake channel. We had a great time there and Dwayne was very communicative. Be aware that there are lots of steps to navigate and cellular service at the house is iffy, but that comes with the territory of vacationing on a mountain lake!"

This makes it easy for you to bring your own boat and launch it nearby. If you prefer to rent boats, kayaks, or paddleboards, there are rental places on the lake that offer delivery services. They will bring the equipment directly to the property, allowing you to enjoy the convenience of exploring the lake at your leisure. We are located right in the middle of the lake making accessing all areas a breeze and with deep water access docking is no issue.

- Please note that while our home offers Starlink Wi-Fi Internet access the Living Room TV is a Roku Smart TV but the other two are not but do have Roku sticks so you can use your apps.

-The property features a private bar and lower storage area exclusively for the owners' use. While guests will not have access to the bar they still will have access to the outside of the granite bar top and bar chairs along with the large grill and granite countertops located at the grilling station.

- Guests are strictly prohibited from using or boarding any boats or Jet Skis on the property, except those provided by the owners specifically for guest use. Andrew's Lake House is situated in quiet cove on Claytor Lake. This three story home has great views of the lake from the upper deck, swinging benches in the screened porch on the second floor and an easy walk to the beach and lake from the bottom level. Down by the lake you'll find a great spot for kids to play in the lake with a gradual sandy walk into the water and a floating dock for jumping and swimming. As the day winds down have a fire by the lake and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Andrew's Lake House sleeps ten with a Master suite and a private room on the second floor and a family room downstairs with 3 beds. Access to the house from the parking area is on the third floor. This house provides wifi and streaming capabilities. It also provides all of the comforts of home including a well-stocked kitchen, washer / dryer, kuerig, coffee pot, all linens, and hair dryers. This home has plenty of space for everyone with large wrap around decks on each floor. Andrew's Lake House is conveniently located across the lake from Claytor Lake State Park and only a quick 15 minute drive to Radford and Radford University. Virginia Tech and Blacksburg is also in close proximity with a 30 minute drive.
