We managed to park close by and the check-in process was very speedy. Parking requires you to squeeze your car against a wall and back out onto a busy road right by a junction too - won't be back."

This stylish place is very clean and airy, close to local convenience store and Tesco express. It’s only 10 minutes drive away from the city centre and historical cathedral of England. You can enjoy shopping 🛍️ at famous Brands’ outlets of Gloucester Quays shopping mall as well as explore the nice walk around the riverside deck of the Gloucester Quays. Furthermore the Imijin Barrack is situated only 5 mins walk away.

The space
It’s a semi detached house with three bedrooms, one toilet with a standing shower on the first floor. Ground floor containing one living room and a kitchen combined with dining area. A big size garden at the back and some of the area is covered with wooden decking where I placed the garden furniture to sit out and enjoy the good weather in summer time.

During your stay
I will be around most of the time. So will be happy to help and enjoy friendly chats with guests depending on time and space.

Other things to note
My 27 years old son visits me every fortnightly on the weekends. He is very gentlemanly and sensible. He is very friendly and kind guy meeting with people but keeps to himself when he is at home. Sometimes my younger son visits me for a short while on the weekends with his wife and two little boys. But they are always respectful and conscious about the guests presence and their needs.

The space
A carpeted room with very comfortable single beds in a period property on a quiet residential street. The room has coffee and tea making facilities and is just across the hall from the bathroom. There is a hairdryer and use of an iron and ironing board.

We don't iron the linen, to help reduce our carbon footprint. So we hope you won't mind a few creases and crinkles. But you can be sure that the linen is always fresh and clean.

There is free on-street parking or if you are coming by public transport, it is a 20 - 25 minutes walk from the centre of Stroud or there are buses to and from town. Our house is a modern two bedroomed semi-detached house on a peaceful housing estate with many green areas. Downstairs there is small kitchen, downstairs toilet and living room, Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom which has a shower over the bath

This is a room only with shared bathroom booking. You will not have access to the living room or rear garden. Please note that my Husband needs to have access to the bathroom at 6.30am 7 days a week so as to get to work on time. You can help yourself to Water in the kitchen & there is a microwave you can use. There are Tea & Coffee making facilities in the room with mini fridge, you need to purchase your own milk for tea & coffee if required. Please note that guests are not permitted to use my oven, hob, toaster or pots & pans. My listing is more suited to those that just want a comfortable place to sleep

Please note that I may have 1-2 dogs staying the same time as you. On rare occasions they may bark in the middle of the night and you will bump into them

Due to my house being a small new build, it is not very well sound proofed, so being as quiet as possible, especially when opening & closing doors after 10pm is essential. As quiet hours are from 10pm to the morning, this also includes showering & blow drying hair.

Sorry it sounds like a lot of rules & regulations but due to a very few number of guests that have been very thoughtless & disrespectful, I just want to be sure this is the right place for you. It’s not a hotel or bed & breakfast, you are sharing my home. I take great pride in preparing your room & cleaning the bathroom. It is very reasonably priced & offers a very comfortable bed to get a good nights sleep.

Most importantly, you will be extremely welcome and made to feel very comfortable during you stay & given as much privacy as possible

As this is a shared bathroom in my home, extractor fan must be switched on before showering and toilet lid lowered before flushing. I would greatly appreciate that your belongings are not placed on the windowsill but on coverings provided so as to protect furniture & paintwork . No strong smelling food like Curries etc. to be eaten in the house. All luggage is to be placed on rug provided to protect the carpet. I would love guests that are respectful of my home and leave the room as they find it

Enjoyable, safe and peaceful place next to Retail park and near services. By walking, you can reach ALDI in 12 minutes and McDonld and KFC in 5 minutes. In the house all necessities are available, you can make tea, prepare your food and eat in the spacious kitchen. In the warm laundry you have washing machine, airing drum and rack.
