The Loft room is a large room with a comfortable double bed, and ample storage,. There is a table and two chairs, ideal for eating breakfast or working. It has truly lovely views over the park behind the cottage. During the day, it is a very light and airy space, but come the evening it becomes quite cosy.

Located at the top of the house, it is very private.

There is a small fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities and crockery etc. Breakfast is continental style left in the Loft room.

The space
The cottage was built in 1885 so has lots of original features.

There are three floors, and the The Loft Room is a conversion and is at the top of the house. This makes a great space, very light and airy with lots of room. The room is quite quirky, and offers a slightly difference experience to a standard bedroom. Please be aware the bathroom is on the first floor.

There is original brick wall which shows the two chimneys from downstairs, joining and climbing up to the chimney stack outside. There are truly lovely views from the window. It really is the nicest room in the house.

The Loft room is private and accessed by stairs which no one but guests have access to.

The loft room is a large room and has a very comfortable double bed, and ample storage for your belongings etc. There is a table and chairs which are ideal for someone wanting to work. It also has really lovely views over the park behind the cottage.

During the day, it is a very light and airy space, but come the evening it becomes quite cosy and private.

There is a small fridge, and microwave in the room, as well as tea and coffee facilities. There will be mugs, crockery, cutlery, glasses etc for you to use.

Box village lies about 5 miles of east Bath, set in the beautiful Bybrook valley, with the Bybrook river running through it. Perfect for rambling and exploring the nearby villages and towns.

There is a regular bus service into Bath, which I would recommend as driving into Bath and parking is becoming increasingly more difficult and expensive.

Ideal for single visitor, person travelling with others using double room, longer stay language students or 3rd person with couple. Please note there is a small dog living in the house in case you do not like dogs. She is a Miniature Schnauzer so does not shed so usually ok for people with allergies and she can at times be a bit yappy, but makes friends with adults. Due to this my home is not suitable for young children.

Food is served at The Crown Inn FRIDAY EVENINGS 6pm till 9pm and SUNDAY LUNCHTIME 12 till 2pm ONLY.
Please note that smoking is not allowed anywhere in the accommodation outside or inside, please respect this rule.
We have a friendly pub dog and two cats which may be encountered in the driveway but none ever have access to the room.
Brewing takes place once a week usually on a Wednesday or Thursday, there will be noise from this after 9AM on these days.

The space
Our Guest Floor is situated above the bars and on the main road so it can be quite noisy from time to time. We do offer complimentary earplugs for you lighter sleepers!

Approximately 250 metres from AOSB.
Your bedroom which overlooks the rear garden comprises of two single beds.
Downstairs wet room and drench shower, personal toilet upstairs.

Washing machine use is free with a seven day booking, less than that a payment is required.

The studio is at one end of the annex. In the living area there is room to eat, read , watch a film and plan your next walk. The bedroom is cosy - super-king bed, quality pillows and sheets - and the shower is hot and pretty powerful.

The village has it all - church, school, village shop, village green, pub and lovely people. Be careful - you may want to move here permanently!

The space
The sitting room has a sofa, table with chairs, a large TV and a DVD player with a selection of classic films ..... there is no actual TV signal but if you are desperate the 4G signal is very good! There is a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle (plus cutlery , plates and glasses) but no hob or oven.

The bedroom is cosy. There is a chest of drawers and hangers and hooks for clothes, plus an electric blanket if needed

The shower is great but the basin in the bathroom has cold water only at the moment.

The studio has a sitting room then a step down to the bedroom and shower room. It's all yours!

Other things to note
You enter the studio via the pottery - don't worry, this will be unoccupied for the duration of your stay. The village is lovely and so is everywhere you walk.
