And our room was not cooling either and they could not fix either of those issues. it was surprisingly to me because no one seems to be checking if gadgets are working in the room after a person checks out. They took my clothes to dry in their dryer and gave us back wet clothes. And then I had to iron the clothes to get them to dry. Overall, not a very good experience. Frankly I cannot justify the price for the issues we faced. Go somewhere else if there is availability."

The apartment is in a short walking distance (3 min) to the downtown area with great stores and restaurants. Akureyri in general is a very walkable town. The apartment was clean and comfortable - the kitchen was stocked with all the basic things for cooking, but didn't include things like salt and pepper. It's big and beautiful and good to live in. My guests have rooms on the upper floor. On the ground floor is the kitchen and other rooms.

Very nice, 90m2, apartment in a private house in a nice area in Reykjavik. The area around is Elliðaárdalur (e: Ellidaardalur) often called "the Pearl and Reykjavik".

The space
Our house is located in a nice kind of valley with a good shelter for the north wind. We enjoy the highest mean temperature in Iceland, and for Iceland that is good.

Nicely located room rather central in Reykjavík. 3,5 km from downtown and a ten minutes walk to a outdoor swimming pool with many hot tubs and a steam bath, open to 22 in the evenings.

A microwave and a refrigerator is in the room. Coffee maker, towels and cutlery.

My cozy little place is a 22m² apartment with a private entrance, located in a family house in Flúðir. It's small, suitable for two people but might get crowded for more. With a well-equipped kitchen and basic amenities provided.
To the secret lagoon is just a 1-minute drive or a short 5-minute walk. Mountains surround Flúðir, and you get a good view of the countryside in the yard. This accommodation is well located on the golden circle.

There's a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a twin-size sofa bed in the hallway. A fully equipped kitchen suitable for cooking. A bathroom with a shower, small sink, and toilet. There's plenty of storage space; large shelves and a dresser.

The system is such that the entrance to the apartment is completely separate, meaning that you can come and go at your own discretion. Whether you're beginning or ending your journey in Iceland with us we feel that having your own space and privacy is paramount. As such you can be completely independent while staying at our place.
