The apartment consists of 3 inter-connecting rooms; a stunning bathroom, decorated with a Portuguese feel due to the tiles and decor. This leads on to the beautiful bedroom, with antique furniture, lovingly restored and updated with chalk paint, and a big comfy double bed with a memory foam mattress.
A small corridor area then leads to the sitting room / dining area and kitchen which is fully equipped with pots and pans, cutlery and crockery etc. In the sitting room area is a large sofa, log burner and TV with MEO box. The front door to the property leads out from the sitting room onto a private balcony with seating area for you to enjoy, and outside there is a garden for soaking up the sun with a dining area and barbeque for you to use and enjoy.
A car or motorcycle would be necessary to get to the nearest shops, although there is a nearby taxi company that can be used.
A bread van comes to our door 3 times a week which sells loaves, rolls and cakes from a local bakery at very reasonable prices. We can also provide you with fresh eggs from our chickens, olive oil, oranges, lemons and a variety of fresh, home grown vegetables from our garden (depending on the season) for a small donation.

Charming schist villages, olive groves, small vineyards and some of the friendliest people in the world are all waiting for your visit.
Our nearest town is Cardigos, which has 2 small grocery stores, cafes and 2 good restaurants. There are also numerous river beaches within a 10-15 minute drive, including Cardigos and Pego Das Cancelas which all have dedicated bars, toilets, barbeques and picnic areas. Plus lots of opportunity for hiking and leisurely walks around the beautiful, unspoilt countryside.
We are nearby the Zezere and other rivers which are perfect for fishing and watersports or just packing up a picnic and heading out for the day.
