The kitchen is well-stocked for most of your cooking and baking needs - from baking pans to a rice cooker and crock pot! And please help yourself to the complimentary snacks on the living room coffee table, as well as the complimentary coffee packets and coffee condiments in the kitchen.

There will be plenty of propane in the tank to fire up the gas grill for a cookout in our fully fenced-in private backyard. After dinner, enjoy some s’mores around the fire pit. We’re happy to provide some firewood if you need it.

- "Darling home. It suited my family nicely while hosting one of my parents funeral in Salina. The pool was so fun!" - "We picked this property because it has a pool. It was amazing. My hubby is 77 and being able to walk down the steps onto the water was ideal. There is a great socializing area beyond the pool with comfortable seating, bar height area to eat, and gas fire pit. This was the first VRBO home stayed at that didn’t require 30 + minutes of cleaning before we used the gas grill! The beds are very comfortable and there are large soft throws to snuggle under when watching TV. Be careful going downstairs, the steps are steep and narrow. I appreciated the good water pressure in the shower to rinse the shampoo out. The kitchen has all your need to fix meals. It is exactly like the photos, the shades of grays throughout is pretty and calming. We enjoyed eating out at several restaurants. If you are looking for women’s clothes or home decor check out the Market Shop downtown. I purchased some tops & pants and they gave me the Julia Roberts Pretty Woman experience minus the drinks & food. The host is great and we hope to stay again next summer to celebrate out 35th wedding anniversary!!"

The 150-year-old Berquist and Nelson Drugstore Building, where Vetehuset is on the second floor, was awarded a listing on the National Register of Historic Places.

You'll reach Vetehuset-Plantera+Skorda (Swedish for "the Wheat House - Plant and Harvest") by taking the private elevator from the carport to the second floor. It is housed inside a structure, designed by Brian Freeman, that mimics a grain elevator of wheat house, hence the name of this historic apartment. A lovely vestibule is the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee as you check your email or plan your day. Designed by Victoria Freeman, guests enter the studio apartment into a welcoming living room, where much of the historic floorplan has been honored and retained. The cozy sofa and two chairs form a lovely conversation area, while convenient coffee and end tables enjoying a beverage or snack so simple. You'll love the unusual artwork created by a local artist. You'll slumber in comfort and style in a king-size bed with a Casper mattress. In both apartments, the sleeping area is set apart from the living area, which creates a nice sense of separation and privacy not commonly found. A closet is nearby each bed.

Guests will discover not one but two fully-equipped kitchens with full size stainless steel appliances and a quiet dishwasher at Vetehuset-Plantera+Skorda. With plenty of cabinets and counter space, it's an easy task to whip up your favorite meals, even a midnight snack.

A dining table for four is adjacent to the kitchen in both apartments and offers a comfortable, relaxed dining experience for guests.

In the bathroom, you'll find a door between the bathroom sink and the barrier-free walk-in shower and commode. The bathroom at Vetehuset-Skorda includes a separate bathtub. The spacious laundry room features a front-loading washer and dryer, even a drying rack.

While embracing its original historic construction, sustainability is literally built into Vetehuset-Plantera+Skorda. The entire studio apartment is insulated for temperature and noise with insulation from recycled blue jeans. The interior is heated and cooled with high-efficiency electric heat pumps, often called minisplits. Appliances are Energy Star certified and plumbing fixtures offer low-flow efficiency. The recycling bin is found in the laundry room.

You will receive a four-digit code that will unlock the elevator entry door, the door to the hall and the doors to each apartment. Be sure to lock your door each time you leave the apartment.

Main stay is a large 4 bedroom home with the master room on the main floor, also on the main level is the full bathroom, large dining space and comfortable living room with wifi and complementary Netflix.
