Located in a clean quiet family neighborhood located just off Main Street in McPherson, there is a water park within 3 miles and a grocery store just a few blocks away. With sleeping for up to 8 people, you can bring the whole family for a weekend of quiet country drives or visiting all central Kansas has to offer. We took great care to provide things we have appreciated and things that were missing from our past travel experiences. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV with free Disney Plus w/Hulu as well as charging stations for your devices and extra pillows and blankets. Crib/pack-n-play & high chair are available upon request. The kitchen is well-stocked for most of your cooking and baking needs - from baking pans to a rice cooker and crock pot! And please help yourself to the complimentary snacks on the living room coffee table, as well as the complimentary coffee packets and coffee condiments in the kitchen.

There will be plenty of propane in the tank to fire up the gas grill for a cookout in our fully fenced-in private backyard. After dinner, enjoy some s’mores around the fire pit. We’re happy to provide some firewood if you need it.

- "Darling home. It suited my family nicely while hosting one of my parents funeral in Salina. The pool was so fun!" - "We picked this property because it has a pool. It was amazing. My hubby is 77 and being able to walk down the steps onto the water was ideal. There is a great socializing area beyond the pool with comfortable seating, bar height area to eat, and gas fire pit. This was the first VRBO home stayed at that didn’t require 30 + minutes of cleaning before we used the gas grill! The beds are very comfortable and there are large soft throws to snuggle under when watching TV. Be careful going downstairs, the steps are steep and narrow. I appreciated the good water pressure in the shower to rinse the shampoo out. The kitchen has all your need to fix meals. It is exactly like the photos, the shades of grays throughout is pretty and calming. We enjoyed eating out at several restaurants. If you are looking for women’s clothes or home decor check out the Market Shop downtown. I purchased some tops & pants and they gave me the Julia Roberts Pretty Woman experience minus the drinks & food. The host is great and we hope to stay again next summer to celebrate out 35th wedding anniversary!!"

The 150-year-old Berquist and Nelson Drugstore Building, where Vetehuset is on the second floor, was awarded a listing on the National Register of Historic Places.

You'll reach Vetehuset-Plantera+Skorda (Swedish for "the Wheat House - Plant and Harvest") by taking the private elevator from the carport to the second floor. It is housed inside a structure, designed by Brian Freeman, that mimics a grain elevator of wheat house, hence the name of this historic apartment. A lovely vestibule is the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee as you check your email or plan your day. The Berquist and Nelson Drugstore Building, where Vetehuset is nestled on the second floor, was awarded a listing on the National Register of Historic Places.

Designed by Victoria Freeman, guests enter the studio apartment into a welcoming living room, where much of the historic floorplan has been honored and retained. In the bathroom, you'll find a door between the bathroom sink and the barrier-free walk-in shower and commode. The bathroom at Vetehuset-Skorda includes a separate bathtub. The spacious laundry room features a front-loading washer and dryer, even a drying rack.

While embracing its original historic construction, sustainability is literally built into Vetehuset-Plantera+Skorda. The entire studio apartment is insulated for temperature and noise with insulation from recycled blue jeans. The interior is heated and cooled with high-efficiency electric heat pumps, often called minisplits. Appliances are Energy Star certified and plumbing fixtures offer low-flow efficiency. The recycling bin is found in the laundry room.

You will receive a four-digit code that will unlock the elevator entry door, the door to the hall and the doors to each apartment. Be sure to lock your door each time you leave the apartment.

My place is a historic limestone building with a loft, located on my family farm. One mile away from the interstate and 6 miles north of Ellsworth, you’ll love its convenience as much as its coziness, history, and quaint charm. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers that are looking for a unique experience in the country that isn't too far off the beaten path. This is a private building near the main farmhouse with its own living space, kitchenette, bathroom, and loft bedroom (queen).

My place is a historic limestone building that was once used for farm operations and has recently been converted into living quarters. It is separate from the main farmhouse, so you'll have plenty of privacy. The building has a sitting area, loft bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom.

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place.

The space
This is a small one bedroom house. Living room has two sofas and a recliner. The kitchen is stocked with most utensils you need to make a meal. There is a laundry room. The bedroom has a queen bed with an area with a mirror to do your make up. Also has a nice closet and television. Bathroom has a shower which has made the area kind of cramped. The original bathroom had a tub so when they put the shower in it made a wall fairly close to the toilet.

Other things to note
For people who are staying in the summer the park about a block away has a pool. The downtown is just about 4 to 5 blocks away. Very easy to walk to about a 10 minute walk. You can very easily walk to anywhere in Lindsborg if you have 20 to 25 minutes. Most places you can get to in about 10 to 15 if walking.

Wonderful private home with driveway or street parking in the middle of Abilene.

This home has wonderful antique wood furniture throughout but all mattresses and couches are new!

There are two individual bedrooms each with a queen bed. The sleeper sofa also has a queen size mattress.
The home has a galley style kitchen, with fridge and oven. Kitchen is stocked with pans and full array of utensils. The small dining area and a full bathroom round out the home.
