During the restructuring, we choose to combine walls and stone arches, traditional ceilings with wooden beams with a décor sober and contemporary. Il Canzoniere is just a few steps from the “Piazza Grande”, the beautiful medieval church of “St. Maria della Pieve” (whose unique architecture attracts visitors from all over the world) and the “Basilica of S. Francesco” (where you can admire the beautiful frescoes of 'La Leggenda della Vera Croce' by Piero della Francesca). - "The B&B is a great place to stay in Arezzo. Our room was comfortable, clean with a nice bathroom. We even had a balcony, other rooms even have patios in the garden. Everything was clean and neat. You really get a lot for the money you paid. The breakfast was good, lots of choices and you could even bring your own food and drinks and use the kitchen. There are a lot of free parking spots around the house so you will always find free parking. There is a supermarket very close by (3 min. walking distance) and a very good restaurant. The area is very quiet because the hotel is a little outside Arezzo (about 1.5 km) which is no problem because it’s still in walking distance and for those using the car it’s better because the alleys and street in downtown Arezzo are either closed to cars or very small. We enjoyed staying there. The employees were very kind and even though their English is not the very best (we are also not English native-speakers) they try to help us with everything. The hotel takes all credit cards and cash and you can pay when leaving the place. Everything was really perfect!"

Casa Rossa is a suggestive farmhouse of very remote origins. It stands in a very panoramic and peaceful position, overlooking vineyards and olive groves. It can be reached by following an unpaved road (1,5 km) that winds its way through rows of vineyards, and even before you get there you will feel you have been catapulted into another era. The origins of this house are in fact very old and date back at least to 1500, as documented in the register of souls of the parish of Pieve San Giovanni.

The owners, Leone and Giuseppe, have intentionally maintained its rustic, almost medieval appearance in order to preserve its noble origins. The wooden and brick ceilings, the original terracotta floors and the simple and essential furnishings are a rare example of the rural tradition in Tuscany. The farmhouse is particularly suitable for couples or families who love nature and simplicity and want to get away from modern life for a while.

- "We had an excellent stay in Villa Agazzi. The view from the property is magnificent and our kids will for sure remember this XL pool-with-view for the rest of their lives. On our arrival, a full basket of vegetables from the garden was on the table and a bowl with eggs as well as some basic supplies where in the fridge. Every evening we enjoyed the free shows that come with the superb view: fireworks in nearby villages, lightnings and/or beautiful sunsets. The owners (a couple with their young daughter) live in the other house on this property but respected 100% our privacy and only came by to bring us some home-made treats now and then. The little chapel is a small extra especially when you like to sing or brought your instrument: the acoustics are top! If you are thinking of preparing big family meals, take into account that the house in fact has 4 (limited) kitchen-units (you can use it as 4 semi-separated living units for 4 couples) so it requires some agility to get everything organised. Beds are very comfortable although rather short for people over 1m90. Next to Arezzo, we visited Cortona, Montepulciano, Lago di Trasimeno and the breathtaking city of Siena all within 1h drive."

Immediately responsive to the booking, Sara met us at the train, oriented us to the apartment, & was available yet gave us privacy. The Aretino is ideally situated in the historic center of Arezzo on a quiet street near Casa Vasari, in easy walking distance to every single historic site, train station & for gorgeous hikes into the countryside (check out the Vasari Aqueduct). So much more than what you see in the photos, it is extraordinarily clean, well laid-out, with amazing space to move around, and the rooms are lovely & tastefully furnished. The kitchen is modern, fully equipped for cooking, coffee/tea makers etc, & dishwasher. The backyard garden is simply beautiful, inviting & a serene private space to relax. We used one of the bedrooms & the bed was very comfortable with lovely linens & cozy comforters. It was peaceful & quiet. Towels, sheets, extra blankets & pillows were abundant & in excellent condition. In the bathrooms, hot water was flowing, there are 2 showers, a hair dryer and an easy-to-use clothes washer (w/separate drying rack). Despite rain, we had the absolute best time thanks to our home base. We can’t say enough about Sara and how she has taken great care & attention to create this perfect vacation home! The apartment:
The apartment is located on the first floor and was completely renovated in 2012. It is part of a three-storey building, which was renovated in the early 2000s. It is cool in summer and warm in winter, very quiet and bright. It has a large terrace with table and chairs for breakfast and a small vegetable garden.
It is equipped with independent heating, which can be turned on between October 15 and April 15 (unless otherwise provided by municipal law) for a maximum of 9 hours a day.

The neighbourhood:

The medieval neighbourhood is located just steps from the main monuments and the beautiful Piazza Grande, which is home of the Giostra del Saracino: a jousting tournament in medieval costume, which is held every year in June and September. Every first Sunday of the month and the previous Saturday, the famous Antiques Fair takes place in the surrounding streets of the old town. It is the oldest and the largest open-air event dedicated to antiques.

Florence, Siena and Perugia are less than an hour by car and/or public transport (train and bus). Nearby it is also possible to visit characteristic villages of the Val di Chiana (Cortona, Lucignano, Montepulciano...), Valtiberina (Sansepolcro, Anghiari, Città di Castello...) and the beautiful landscapes of Casentino.

The landscaping is immaculate and the house was clean and has two kitchens and living areas. The host, Fabio, was very easy to work with and the check in and check out process was seamless. Fabio is available 24/7 via text or WhatsApp for restaurant recommendations and general inquiries. He made several dinner reservations for us. If you are visiting Tuscany and looking for a place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings, after a day in the car or train, this is the perfect place and I highly recommend it! The accommodation is close to the historic center of the city, the parks, the Porta San Lorentino, restaurants, museums, supermarkets, disco, etc. You will love this accommodation because it is comfortable, clean and romantic, in a strategic position, very quiet and at the same time close to the historic center and the most important parks of the city, given the proximity to the Cathedral of Arezzo and the railway station (about one Km). The indicated price is for only one person in a room.

The space

You will have your own bed and private bathroom, you can freely use the shared kitchen, condo yard, study, relaxation area, radio and tv.
The place is ideal for who cycling because the living room is on the ground floor with direct access to the main road. If you ride a bike, you can comfortably get in with your bicycle from the ground floor entrance and leave it in the corner of the living room where it will be safe and will not disturb other guests.

During your stay
For any need I will be available to guests during their stay. I will leave my telephone number and my email address for anything. I want you feel comfortable as at your home. We will host you as old friends and not as customers. For any need or need do not hesitate to ask what you need and we will do our best to satisfy you.

Other things to note
Each room has a private bathroom for exclusive use. One room is on the ground floor and the other room is on the first floor without a lift, reachable via a convenient internal staircase. For any needs and to check the availability of the rooms, we invite you to contact us in advance, before booking.
The price indicated is for one person per night. For each additional guest in the room, the cost is 35.00 euros.
The linen service - sheets and towels - is included.
The laundry service is not included. A coin-operated laundry is located in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation, in via della Chimera n. 111.

Ciao and welcome to my favourite escape. The bedroom and kitchen have been renovated in June 2018. The apartment is located just a 10 min walk to the downtown area of Arezzo, where you can find many places to shop, enjoy amazing gelato and many restaurants . It is also a 5 min walk to the train station and close to many grocery stores and necessary amenities.
This apartment is a shared space with my aunt who will be your host during your stay. She also has pets (cat and dogs)

The space
Due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We are also doing our best to allow 24 hours in-between bookings. In the interest of the health and safety of all my guests, I'm asking everyone to answer the pre-screening questions developed by Airbnb. This apartment is a shared apartment with my Aunt, who has pets (dog and cat). Areas such as the bathroom and terrace will be a shared space. Let's all be mindful and careful.
