- "Hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful pools and grounds. Overall a great experience. However, the directions that the hotel provided prior to arrival were not clear. They put us at a train station that is very far away and required a significant bus trip which we were not told about. Also, the hotel isn't actually in Piombino (which was not told to us) which and is in Riotorto which made getting a bus challenging since it put us in the wrong town. Also, the beach is further than 2 km away and I would not recommend walking to the beach from the hotel as you have to walk along a busy highway that is not suitable for pedestrians. That said, the beach is beautiful and completely worth a visit but take a bus. The hotel restaurant was quite nice and the hotel is in a fairly residential area."

- "I would not recommend this hotel for Americans. There were a lot of rules and restrictions. We thought we would enjoy the very nice looking pool but you had to wear a bathing cap and it closed at 7 pm ! The hotel was geared towards families with young children. While the room was clean, it smelled very strongly of disinfectant. We had to make our own beds with linens they provided. The area is wonderful with the beach so close but I would not recommend this accommodation. "
