This area of Spain is very traditional, not much English is spoken so in the restaurants you may not have an English menu. However, we found that this just improved our Spanish! - "We found the accommodations very roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed the location and the surrounding community very much. We were not aware that most of the nearby restaurants are closed during January and February and It took a while to find a few cafes in the area that were actually operating but it worked out in the end. The internet service did work but we did have to restart the router several times a day. The first week was pretty cool and the unheated bedrooms were a bit of a problem but we got by. A few extra blankets would have been great! We found that having a car was important to the success of our stay. It would be very difficult to get along without one."

We did have to use a car almost daily because there are only about 3-4 lunch/dinner places nearby (Ca Quintin was our favorite among them). The apartment is located in the center of the Barrio de San Antonio (Main beach of Cullera), so you have very close to all the services such as: in front of Great Supermarket COMSUM, Charcuterie, Pharmacy, Restaurants, Hardware, shops in general, and just 200 meters. from the beach. The picturesque town of Cullera with its old market etc. is just 500 meters away,

About 100 meters from the apartment is the San Antonio Local Park, with its great variety of flora and fauna (waterbirds), relaxation area, gymnastics for adults and games for children.
Another area worth seeing is Lake Stany, a nice area to fish and walk along the shore of the lake and taste the true Valencian Gastronomy in one of its famous restaurants.
And in case it is little to 3 Kms. you can visit the Great Natural Park of the Albufera.

Cullera is an admired site for athletes such as; anglers, cyclist, tennis players, runners, swimmers, golfers, photographers, canoeists, etc. etc. because it has: Sea,
river with its mouth and marina, mountain with its spectacular castle and winding and steep climbs, two lakes with their varied flora and fauna in which you can walk around and breathe fresh air observing its beautiful views.
It has Tennis Club, cycling, fishing, canoeing and about 5 km away is the golf club.
Because of all this and its climate and its wonderful beaches very flat of natural sand in which you can get 50 m. indoors without covering you, ideal for the safety of children is what makes Cullera one of the most touristic villages in Spain.

You can also book a garage for €8 per day. During winter you don't need a garage, but during summer it's very difficult to park in a spoon.

Other things to note
During the winter there is no difficulty in parking the car on the street,but in summer it is very touristy and it is almost impossible to find a place to park. That's why for €8 per day, you can use the garage space that has the development on the ground floor.
