Lovely tradicional Stone house located in a peaceful villa with amazing views into the Tramuntana mountains( World Heritage) .The house has a combined living room/ dining room with open chimney in the ground floor. Just beyond the pool and orange grove is the petanc court (bocce ball). We’ve had some great tournaments there!

ACCESS:
Unlike many newer homes in Fornalutx, ours is uniquely accessible. Located on a quiet, walkable street, you can safely stroll to the plaza and drive directly to the house—no navigating long staircases, pedestrian-only lanes, or parking far away. We’re not perched on the outskirts, up in the hills, or along the main road with fast-moving traffic and no sidewalks. Enjoy the rare convenience of unloading luggage, beach gear, or groceries right at the door—without sacrificing the charm of being truly in town.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
There is parking for three cars (two with in the gates and one outside the gate). Please note that the streets in Mallorca are very narrow and we advise renting a compact or small car. While we usually rent smaller SUVs.

VILLAGE
The home is very private, despite being just a 3 minute walk to the village plaza. As you walk along the cobblestone streets, you pass the carefully tended stone homes, all of which contribute to the beauty of the village. The plaza is the center of this ancient Moorish town with a quaint, fully equipped convenient store, a bank, post office, natural and traditional pharmacy, bakery, and several wonderful restaurants and cafes, and a magnificent church. The cafes at the plaza are open from the early morning until 12 at night. There is also great hiking trails just steps from the house.

Alexis grandmother moved from Stockholm, Sweden to Mallorca and the village of Fornalutx in 1955. Back then it had no electricity and there where no roads for cars. Every summer since Alexis was 3 years old (thats 1976) he spent 3 month visiting her. He more or less grow up in the narrow alleys of Fornalutx together with his sister, cousins and Majorcan friends. The beautiful surroundings, all nice people that lives in the village, the nearby beaches in Puerto Soller, the unprecedented mountain walks and the fabulous food at the local restaurants. It's easy to get addicted to it!

The property holds its traditional beauty whilst having all the luxuries you need. The home is beautifully decorated and the outdoor kitchen overlooking the mountains is stunning. There is ample free parking around and a local car park with a very small fee. The town has everything you need and we loved our meal at Molon, where Neil served outstanding food and made our night really special. There are a couple of local bakeries, a super market and other restaurants so plenty of options. I would suggest booking early if you’re going in peak season. The apartment was in a perfect location to explore other local areas including Deia, Soller and Valldemossa all accessible within 30 minutes maximum (only 10 mins to Soller). We hired a car however everywhere is accessible by an hourly bus. Absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be looking to return!"

Set in the picturesque village of Fornalutx, in the Tramuntana Mountains, this enchanting town house can comfortably accommodate 2 people.
On the first floor there is a furnished terrace with a sofa and two parasols for sunbathing with views of the mountains. This terrace is an ideal place to enjoy an outdoor dinner under the stars.

This terrace gives access to a spacious living room with satellite-TV and a toilet. When going down to the first floor, you'll find a bedroom with double bed and A/C as well as a cosy sitting-dining room. The ground floor is composed of a shower bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchen with gas hob, washer, iron and ironing board. If you travel with a baby, we can supply a cot and a high chair. Two fans and two electric radiators complete the equipment.

The picturesque town of Fornalutx is in the midst of the Tramuntana Mountains, declared as a World Human Heritage by Unesco. Lots of trails and cycling routes start here. The trail Tossals Verds leads you through Mediterranean woods, antic buildings and small paths. The fresh water reservoir Cúber, which is at the foot of the Puig Major, is also a very nice and popular trail. The beaches of the Tramuntana are mostly characterized by rocks and cool, clear waters, for example Cala Deià, Puerto de Valldemossa and Llucalcari. If you prefer sand beaches, you can visit Puerto de Sóller and Cala Tuent. In Sóller and Puerto de Sóller you'll find supermarkets, restaurants and shops. In Fornalutx, there's a small grocery shop. Near Sóller is the Muleta Cave where the most ancient human remains of Mallorca have been found.

The property is accessed via a large communal entrada with its own private entrance leading into the cosy double bedroom with shower room. The most distinguishing detail of this house is the private, 8 x 3 m salt water pool with a depth ranging from 1.2 m to 1.9 m, where you can contemplate the fantastic views over the mountains while swimming.

This enchanting property offers accommodation on one floor and 115 m2. Stylistically, it's a mix between warm colours and rustic details, making you feel like home from the first moment. There is an invitingly sitting-dining room with A/C, where you will be able to enjoy long table-talks with your loved ones. Furthermore, this room has a television (Satellite-TV) and a fireplace. - "This is truly a beautiful place. The property owner is a nice and caring man (didn't meet his wife). He was friendly to us, but just as important, his finca is well maintained in every aspect. Every time I walked from the entrance gate to the main house I discovered a little new detail. The walk alone is a little fairy tail! Everything is clean, the view is beautiful. Almost all throughout the day you can enjoy the sun. Even while taking a shower when opening the little window. The house is basically next to a hiking trail which descends to the picturesque center of Fornalutx. It's just a beautiful 10 min walk and we enjoy getting our morning coffee at the little cozy square We took our little boy (1.5 year old) with us and requested a baby bed. It was nicely arranged but since there is only one bedroom we will go for a "two bedroom" finca the next time. For now it wasn't really a problem since we place the bed in the living room and spend all evenings outside. Firewood is just waiting to get burned in the lovely fireplace next to the pool. So relaxing! With our rental vehicle we took daytrips to Palma Mallora, Valdamossa, Soller (and Port Soller) and Port Adriano (streetfood festival). When our little boy was asleep in the afternoon we just enjoyed the sun while reading a book at the pool. We definitely would recommend this place!""

Breathtaking house for 4 people, with spectacular views to the mountains, located over an olive grove at the Puig Major road, on the outskirts of Fornalutx.
The exteriors of this house will lead you to a different world, thanks to its fields full of nature, tress, and its amazing and unique landscape where you will enjoy total privacy. You can sit at the patio to have breakfast or to read a book in peace, or to enjoy a meal prepared on the gas barbecue. The beauty of the building is extraordinary since it features the typical Mallorcan stone everywhere, from the terraces and stairs to the walls of the house.

The most peculiar and, at the same time, beneficial thing is that the house is divided into two buildings. The kitchen is in one of the houses, and it is equipped with a gas stove, microwave and other kitchen utensils and appliances, including a washing machine. The kitchen is open to the dining and living room, where you can watch satellite TV from the sofa, maybe accompanied by the warmth of the wood stove when it is cold. At the second building, you will find a hall and a shower bathroom on the ground floor and, going upstairs, there are two bedroom with a fan and a wardrobe in each one. One presents a double bed and the other has a bunk bed. A cot and a high chair are also available,

The surroundings of the property are just a dream. It id located near the lookout called Mirador de ses Barques, a must visit in fact, where you will enjoy the astonishing views. Fornalutx is the nearest village, placed in the middle of the Tramuntana mountain range. It is very authentic and quiet, with a grocery shop and some Mallorcan cuisine restaurants. Acar is needed to move around and know new landscapes. The nearest sandy beach is in Puerto de Soller, about 10 km away. The area is perfect to practice biking, hiking or to reach Escorca, Soller, Valldemossa or Deià by car.

There is a gas barbecue and it is forbidden to light fire from April to October.
