We walked into fornalutx and biniaraix most days for breakfast it wax a good 35 min walk to both. The villa is in a very peaceful setting with views of the mountain , the grounds were immaculate and Toni was so kind bringing us the local treats we would love to return xx" - "My family (my husband, our children, their spouses and 4 grandchildren aged 3 and under) have just spent a wonderful week at Ca’n Sampol. Toni was an attentive and excellent host - he provided some gorgeous snacks as our flights were late arriving, which were most welcome and provided 2 high chairs and 2 cots for the babies, borrowing one from a friend. The setting of the house is perfect, nestled in the Soller valley, very quiet & has the sun all day until 8.30 in the evening. The grounds and swimming pool area are safe for little children as there is robust fencing, and we managed to park 3 cars in the parking space, with some jiggling around. All communications were clear and timely and the house was well equipped and, together with the grounds and pool was immaculate. Three of the bedrooms were ensuite, which was great. The location is perfect, with plenty of activities in the surrounding area, if you can tear yourself away from the pool. Thank-you Toni!"

There is a small laundry room with an apartment sized washer. There is no dryer but there were hangers for air drying. Bed was comfortable and we used the AC every day. Can't say enough about the patio, we had our coffee, wine and all meals out there. No bugs, beautiful view and private. Our flight in was delayed and the owner was very accommodating and communication was good. We needed hand soap and more toilet paper than was provided so I would just recommend when you buy initial groceries, add those to your list. Again, overall an amazing stay. The city of Soller with its beautiful central plaza, church, Saturday market, cafe’s, restaurants and heritage tram is a joy to come down to.
The nearest supermarket is a short walk from the villa.

Port de Sóller with its safe sandy beach, is only a 5 minute drive away. You can enjoy a stroll along the promenade with its many fine bars and restaurants. The harbour has a marina with fine yachts and an active fishing fleet.

The hillside villages of Binaraitz, Fornalutx, Deia and Valdemossa are well worth exploring, as is the monastery of Lluc.
There are regular bus services to and from the centre of Palma, with a bus stop virtually at the bottom of the lane. Alternatively one can take the traditional wooden train from Soller train station to Palma.(A real treat!)

If you are considering hiring a car, we would recommend a small to medium sized car as the roads in and around Soller can be steep and narrow, as is the road up to the Villa. The elderly or infirm might find this challenging to walk.

For the more active, it might be worth exploring Tramuntana Tours Re bike hire, fishing, sailing, hiking etc.

The Villa is very well suited for family holidays, and we often host three generations. The main terrace and veranda are fenced with guard rails. The swimming pool and upper terraces are securely gated and small children will require supervision and must be accompanied by adults in these areas.

The extensive terraces, gardens and pool are very well maintained by our caretaker who visits on a regular basis and is available if required in case of any problems.

Fast fiber optic broadband connection with wi-fi is available throughout the property and the outside areas including around the swimming pool.

Puerto de Soller: it is a coastal city in the northwest of Mallorca, only about 5 kilometers from Sóller. Its bright location in an almost circular bay, protected by rocks on both sides of the passage to the sea. Today you can find excursion boats, yachts and sailboats. Every afternoon at 5 p.m. fishermen arrive at Puerto de Sóller with some of their catches still alive.

He was always happy to answer any queries had during our stay. If you have any mobility issues the walk up the hill back to the apartment would be difficult, in the July heat was very hot. This beautiful one room loft (48 sqm) in Port de Sóller was extensively renovated. The quiet hillside location guarantees a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and partly of the harbor. The new open plan design offers lots of light. The loft is equipped with a double bed (1.60 x 2.00 meters) and and a sofa. The living area has been completely redesigned and now includes a comfortable corner couch and a wide screen TV with international channels.
The bright open kitchen (fully equipped) has a 3-ring ceramic hob, microwave and washing machine. The new bathroom with window and large shower has plenty of space. The absolute highlight of this smal loft is the 20 sqm terrace. Since this terrace has a lot of sun both in winter and summer, there is an awning, table and
chairs and sun loungers. The harbor promenade of Port de Sóller is within walking distance (15 min). The view from the terrace – is just a delight; breakfast times easily extend or you can enjoy the evening at sunset with a good Mallorcan wine. Of course, our beautiful apartment has air conditioning (heat and cold) and a rapid fiber internet connection (D100/U100). Hiking trails start just around the corner.

- "This apartment offers a wonderful stay in Port de Soller. The highlight being a spacious balcony with stunning views of the resort and mountains. Everything is provided and Andrea is a wonderful host, who provides all the information you need to enjoy your stay, and who is available to contact anytime. The apartment has good air con, wi-fi and storage space. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen area is small but has everything you need. There was nothing that was lacking during our stay. As others have mentioned, the apartment is at the top of a steep hill with steps to get up or down from it. Unless you are fit and able, this might be a problem. The benefit of this is the view from the balcony, plus the peace and quiet it affords. The centre of the resort, bus stand and taxi rank is no more than around 15 minutes' walk. Usually, if you're going into town, you walk down the apartment block steps to a 30-40 metre path (with more steps), which leads you to the street below from which you can walk into town. If you hire a car, parking spaces on the street above might prove a little difficult, but there looked to be plenty of spaces on the street."

Very nice apartment only minutes away from the beach. - "This was my third stay at this property, so you can guess I like it. It is located very close to the beach and all the restaurants, bars and beach side facilities. I have a slight walking difficulty so this is important to me when booking a holiday. The property is located on the 2nd floor but there is a lift, although there are a few steps (approximately 6) to reach the lift, not a problem for me. The apartment is very well equipped with air conditioning in all bedrooms and the lounge diner, essential as I stayed during the recent heatwave. The kitchen is also very well equipped and would well serve a family who wished to self cater. Personally I prefer to eat out so I have not used the kitchen facilities. I did however, make use of the washing machine as I was staying for 11 days and I do like to travel light. There is also a TV which receives UK channels but I was out and about every day so this was not used very often. I did use it to listen to UK radio on some mornings and also I watched the British F1 Grand Prix, being an F1 fan. The bed in the main bedroom is comfortable and has its own en suite with an excellent shower. Plenty of storage and good supply of towels. The property doesn’t have its own parking but there is a large pay car park right opposite, however, when I stayed in early July the car park filled up very quickly. Overnight there was plenty of space and I believe it’s free after 7pm but do check the signs. I love Port Soller and I will be back."

Cas Milà is a lovely and cosy house located only a few minutes away form the main square,it has been recently refurbished, and it is decorated with Majorcan style. It offers a nice and light sitting room, fully equipped kitchen, and a full equipped bathroom on the ground floor. Next to the entrance in a semi-level, there is a room with double bed. The first floor has 2 bedrooms, one with double bed, and the other one, with two single beds, and a full equipped bathroom. The bedrooms have new installed ceiling fans. Outside there is a great garden and a dining area, perfect to enjoy nice meals. There is also a good size terrace and a big pool, which invites you to enjoy the sunny and the wonderful views. The area is very quiet, and allows you to relax and rest, while being very close to all places of interest.

The property borders directly behind a large undeveloped nature reserve with pine forests and olive groves.

The house was just prepared for the rental and rebuilt generously and high quality.

The final cleaning is mandatory. We are happy to arrange a cleaning company for this.

Please note that in the high season (from April to October) Saturday is the day of arrival and Checkin. Bookings are only accepted on a weekly basis. Exceptions, although very rare, are sometimes possible on request. In the low season (November to March) the minimum booking is only 5 days, arrivals and departures are possible at any time.

The house has no lift and is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the exterior and interior stairs. We recommend suitcases that are not too big and heavy. The house has a free-access unheated swimming pool and an interior staircase without handrail, see photos. Children from 7 years on welcome, at own risk. For exceptions please consult us.

We recommend hiring a hire car, especially for families with children and older guests.

However the pool was there to cool off on returning. and view from the property makes the walk worthwhile. Our holiday home is located above the village of Port de Sóller and enjoys a wonderful 180 degree panoramic view of the mountains and the bay with its sandy beach (partial view).

Friendly notes:
1. due to the hillside location, the "holiday domicile" and the pool are each located on the 1st floor in two separate house areas, which are accessible via external staircases. We would like to point this out especially for guests with limited mobility.

2. the private car park in front of the house is not cordoned off, so that parking offenders can also park there. Unfortunately, we have no influence on this. However, there are enough parking spaces within a radius of 50 metres.

Our on-site manager is always available to provide advice and assistance. In addition to German, she also speaks English, French and Spanish.

El Aviario is a compact and tranquil one bedroom apartment situated in the Tramuntana mountain range, 15 minutes up a winding mountain pass with hairpin bends from the beautiful city of Soller and its surrounding villages and 25 minutes from Palma. The apartment consists of a double bedroom with plenty of storage, a living area with a sofa , dining facilities and aircon, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave and hob and a shower room.

The space
The apartment is over 140 years old with lots of character and has its own entrance, it also has an outside private terrace area with views of the Tramuntana mountain range. There is also use of the pool and the garden area where you can relax and enjoy the birdsong.
Due to the steps, terrain and low door access it is not suitable for children under 13 years of age or infirm people.
A car is highly recommended due to the remote location.

It is important that I know the conditions of the house before booking, here is a brief summary:
In the house we live two people, the area where you will stay is upstairs (it is not independent, it is part of the house), in it there is a large room with a double bed (this one has no door) and another small room (with door), it has a bed that is a bunk bed (2 places), in the small room there is a toilet and the shower is one floor down. The house is very cozy and is very central a few meters from the tram stop that will take you to the wonderful port of Sóller, it is also very close (a few steps away) the shopping street of Sóller.
