- "It was a wonderful stay. A nice couple is running the place quite professionally so there was little to no confusion at the check-in. We are located in a rural area and the nearest grocery store is 2.5 km away.
Askøy is also called "little Norway" for its varied landscape. It is rocky and steep north-west and green and fertile in the southeast. Askøy has its own attractions, such as hiking in the forest, the lakes and the small mountains. There is a golf course, kayak rental and other activities on the beautiful connected island Herdla on Askøys north tip Askøy bridge connects our islands with the mainland.
There are buses from the main bus station which is next to the train station and where the bus from the airport also stops. Buses take around an hour.

Small house with large garden close to the sea (oslo fjord) and the forest, calm and relaxing. Several rooms. I have some access to bikes and fishing roods.

The space
This house is located, walking distance, two minutes from the Oslo fjord, in a small and calm village caled Saltnes. Also quite close to the house is the forest. With a bussride, you can get to Fredrikstad, to see the old fortfield town. This is a place to relax and enjoy the seaside.

I live here, and you will shear the space with me. ☺️

The space
Our home has a rich history and is filled with Norwegian charm. The kitchen features a centuries-old table and handmade chairs adorned with fairytale paintings. The walls showcase beautiful artwork painted by my grandmother, adding a traditional and beautiful touch to your stay.

In the Ski Room, you'll find a private atmosphere, furnished with a bed in Norwegian style. If you're two guests, you'll also find a comfortable floor mattress in the room. The room is decorated with cross-country skis, and you can enjoy complete darkness and a good night's sleep with the blackout curtains. Towels and bedding are included for your convenience.

Make yourself at home in the living room, where you can relax on the large sofa and stream your favorite shows on the TV. The skylight allows natural light to enter, creating a cozy atmosphere. Old, charming house located at Seljestad, in a central quiet, residential area, 1,4 km from the center. The house is also within close walking distance to nature. With many possabilieys for nice walk in the woods, by lakes and in the mountains all year round. If you like cross country skiing the slopes are available just up the hill. The local bus stop i 3 min away. And we have parking space for cars.
