Trout fishing and canoeing. This house is upstream of all the canoe liveries. the mason tract, (flies only water), starts 4 miles downstream. State ski/ hiking trail starts at the end of the road, (⅛ mile) . Groomed for classical and skating.

Welcome to our Up North home away from home and vacation in beautiful, quiet Roscommon, Michigan! This newly remodeled home is located on a quiet country road with stunning Ausable River access. Close to both Higgins & Hougton Lakes.

Also, Bear Cottage is only 15 minutes from the world famous "Forest Dunes" golf course!!!

This home features 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and even an extra flat screen TV in one of the bedrooms.

All our appliances are brand new. We have a full kitchen, yet we even added a handy kitchenette to the master bedroom for privacy.

Bring your canoe; bring your fishing poles. Your Ausable River access is just a short stroll down this quiet country road.

- "This is a nice location with the home on the South Branch. It was pretty quiet, even on the weekend. The home was clean and comfortable. The 3 season porch area was a favorite. We observed deer and mink at the river. Our few questions were answered by the owner very quickly. We found it pretty easily, however the map app wanted us to go to the road via Pines Trail, and you need to go in from Steckert Bridge Rd. We visit the area often and certainly hope to stay again."
