We have an air mattress upon request if bunk beds or pull out couch does not sound comfortable. Has small kitchenette in living room. Toaster oven, coffee maker, two burner cooking top. Medium sized refrigerator and microwave. There’s a smart TV and WiFi.
You will The central to beaches, lake Huron coffee shops, ice cream shops, mini bars and restaurants as well as tourist trails and monuments. There’s Iargo Springs and Lumbermans monument. Canoe and motorised scooter rental just a couple hundred feet down the street. You have a privacy fence where you can use the provided portable fire place for cooking or just a cozy evening. There’sa small grille provided with a couple chairs and more upon request.
No smoking, no pets, shoes off at the doors. There will be fees added if these are disobeyed. Sorry but some people actually need to be told to respect other people property🤷🏻‍♂️.

Visit Wurtsmith Air Base Museum where you will learn the history of the Wurtsmith Air Base (slated to become the new Air Space Rocket Launcher facility), visit the Veterans Memorial, and stop by the Park Rangers Station at the entrance to Wurtsmith where you can get free maps and guides of the area that will show you hiking, biking, swimming, fishing areas, and snowmobile trails, in the National Forests. Visit Largo Springs which features viewing decks and boardwalk paths though the natural springs. Visit the Tawas Point Lighthouse on Tawas Bay on Lake Huron for a tour of the Victorian-era lighthouse, a gift shop, swimming, foot and bike paths through the park, and picnic areas. Visit Newmann Street in Tawas for a day of shopping in unique boutiques, gift shops, speciality shops, candy shops, and restaurants.Tawas City hosts numerous festivals throughout the year including a jazz fest, wine fest, chill cook off, car show, and fishing fest. - "We instantly felt welcomed and right at home, especially when Jim and Joy made a special point of acknowledging our anniversary. The hosts live on the premises, but they are not intrusive. They encouraged us to utilize the property and made themselves available to assist with any need or questions. Parking is very close to the cabin entrance for easy access. We had a private patio to enjoy the view of the lake & the lovely flowers. The towels and linens were very nice, and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, and utensils. There are two dining tables, so my wife had plenty of room to work on crafts projects. They also have a washer/dryer if you need them, as well A/C. We loved watching the ducks, sitting on the pontoon, and building a fire. The amazing Lake Huron beaches are only a 5 min drive and are open to the public. We thoroughly enjoyed Lumberman's Monument dune & trails and Largo Springs. There are quite a few restaurants in Oscoda but be aware that many stores and restaurants aren't open during the middle of the week. It was refreshing not have a long list of check-out tasks, nor threats of fees for every broken rule. Check out was 11am, which makes for a much more pleasant morning than rushing to leave by 10. We will definitely be back!"

- "We booked this 4 day staycation for my youngest's birthday, so it was my Husband, two kids (9yr & 7yr), and myself. I'm so grateful to the owners tips with the driving directions, as we did in fact pass the cabins and turned back around. The lot isn't huge, but we still found a spot easily, and the walk to our cabin (we stayed in cabin #10 with the deck, definitely recommend the deck!) was short and quick. The cabin itself does have some wear and tear, a bit of siding damage, outdated electrical, small plumbing and floor issues...but IT'S A WATERFRONT BEACH HOUSE! Of course there's wear and tear. I found the staff did a great job at keeping things clean. The cabin is very cozy, I think 4 people may have been it's limit, and I got a good laugh squeezing into the small standing shower (for reference I'm only 5'5" tall, and I bumped my elbows, also my yoga came in very handy when attempting to shave lol). But it has great hot water. My kids came in for a quick shower after every swim session, and we never once ran out. The view here is absolutely incredible, honestly breath taking. So who cares if the cabin is on the smaller side, you should honestly be outside enjoying the beauty of this private beach. Visitors were in other nearby cabins, but everyone was respectful and kind. There was a small, open, central storage area with beach toys and chairs to share. I could go on and on about this cabin, but recommend you check it out yourself instead, I promise you won't regret it."

Guest Access:
To complete your booking process and get your Guest Access information you will be connected with Enso Connect Guest Experience app. Once you have completed your verification process you will receive your Enso "Boarding Pass" with your Guest Access information.
The Enso Connect guest verification process will require:
* Signing of rental agreement
* ID and selfie uploads

Guests will have exclusive access to the Captains Watch cottage at The Beach Club which has 3 additional cottages on the property. The property is self-check-in, so please carefully read the check-in instructions prior to arrival. Property amenities are lake access, private walkout patio, grill & fire pit, yard games & play equipment, beach chairs and outdoor shower. You have around-the-clock access to your space through our custom-coded keypad deadbolt locks. To ensure your safety, all of our properties are equipped with Ring video doorbell cameras and Noise Aware decibel measuring devices inside the unit (Please note: Noise Aware devices do not have recording features).

The Neighborhood:
The Beach Club in Oscoda, Michigan, nestled on Lake Huron's northeastern shore, boasts natural beauty, sandy beaches, clear waters, and outdoor activities like fishing, boating, hiking, and camping. It's near parks like Huron National Forest and the Au Sable River. With a friendly, tight-knit community and local shops and restaurants, it offers a taste of local culture. Convenient highway access links it to Alpena and Bay City, making it a peaceful, family-friendly escape.

Getting Around:
Oscoda is a small, car-friendly town. Public transportation like buses or trains is unavailable, so having a car is recommended for exploring beyond town. Car rentals, taxis, and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are accessible. Biking and walking are common, with various trails, beaches, parks, and recreational areas within easy reach on foot or by bike.

Other Things to Note:
• You will receive your Enso "Boarding Pass" with guest access details after completing verification, which includes:
-Signing the rental agreement
-ID and selfie uploads
• A non-refundable damage waiver is included in your total cost, covering more than minor wear and tear. Stays over 30 nights require a refundable security deposit if no damages occur (except Airbnb bookings).
• Discounts applied automatically:
-15% off for stays 7+ nights
-30% off for stays 30+ nights
• Extensions: Contact us for special offers.
• Starter Kit: Includes coffee, dishwasher pods, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Guests are responsible for additional supplies.
• **Local Guests: Prior authorization is required before booking**.
• Cancellations: Check your booking platform’s policy. Even for full refunds, a 4% credit card fee applies (except Airbnb & VRBO).
• Pets:
-$20/night, $100/week, $250/month (potty-trained dogs only).
-Preferably under 50 lbs—contact us for exceptions.
-Clean up after your pet & leash in common areas.
***Maintenance and inspections may be required during your stay. Please note that we cannot guarantee a specific timeframe or reschedule these visits. Any necessary work will be completed as quickly as possible to ensure the property remains in proper condition.

Right on the beach and within driving distance to attractions and east tawas. It helped that the neighbors were quiet at the other cabins on the property. A few things to know: you have to hook up the propane to use the grill yourself, bring beach towels with you, there is not a clothing line to dry swim wear on. Other than that we had a great time!"
