This home is uniquely situated on the inlet off the Muskegon Channel with direct waterfront access into Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan. It has been updated over the years features 1200sq ft, two bedrooms, one full bathroom and all the amenities of home including; wireless internet, Netflix, AC, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fire pit, & weber grill. There's over 75' of docking to tie up your boat(s), launch kayaks or paddleboards and enjoy all the watersports. Fishing from the dock is great fun for kids, you'll catch a variety of fish. Boating, biking or walking are the best ways to enjoy this area, along the lakes, dunes, channel and piers.

Beautiful Pere Marquette and Harbortowne beaches are only a short walk or head out to find your own secluded beach easily accessible by boat, swim, hike dunes and enjoy beach fun. It's truly a great area for walks, runs, bike rides, sunsets and stars. Ships and boats making their way through the channel allows you to see it all from right there.

Silversides Submarine and Naval Museum along with a couple parks and play structures are close by in the neighborhood.

Dockers and The Deck resturants are walking distance, with great food and live music on the weekends all summer long.

Two car driveway parking and legal over night street parking. Just installed a beautiful privacy curtain for each bedroom up stairs. BACKYARD TOTALLY FENCED IN FOR PETS AND CHILDREN.

- "We rented this unit to walk to Heritage Landing for a multi-day festival. It was a beautiful space, enough room for all 5 of us. Walking distance to great little shops, Heritage Landing, many nice restaurants and much more! Property manager is extremely easy to reach for any need/question. There could've been more on site parking avaliable for people traveling with more than one vehicle, but it's workable. Also, this building still has some new construction going on, that got loud at times, but again, dealable. Overall it was a beautiful unit, good location and we would stay here again!"

Welcome to The Loft on Colby!

Located in the heart of historic Whitehall, The Loft on Colby was originally constructed as a Masonic Temple in 1922 and is home to the first piano delivered to the White Lake area. This piano continues to serve as a focal point to the large living space. The Loft on Colby is one of the original and tallest buildings of this quaint town. This one-of-a-kind property has one bedroom, two and a half baths and an open loft sleeping area (formerly the balcony.) The Loft can easily accommodate up to 8 guests. It is the perfect home-base to enjoy all that the Whitehall/Montague area has to offer.

The Loft is conveniently located to US 31, an hour from Grand Rapids, and 3.5 hour drive from Chicago or Detroit.

Relax with a good book while enjoying the view overlooking White Lake Bayou. Explore beyond to shops, restaurants, walking paths, bike trails, kayak liveries, or to the grassy park just steps away on White Lake. A scenic drive to the nearby Duck Lake State Park offers the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan and the warm wading waters beneath the bridge to Duck Lake.

NOTE: The Loft is located at the top of the tallest building in downtown Whitehall. We don't have an elevator, but you may enter/exit from either the Colby Street front or back parking lot doors. Please note: Outside back parking lot stairs, to The Loft, are narrow and open to the elements. If carrying multiple pieces of luggage, or you feel more comfortable, please use the front indoor stairs.

Interior/exterior staircases require effort and maybe challenging for some.

NOTE: As stated above, The Loft is located in downtown Whitehall on Colby St. which is the main street of town. We offer sound machines; ear plugs and box fans (located in the hallway closet) for traffic noise in the front "downtown view" bedroom.

NOTE: The front "downtown view" bedroom has two king beds that are divided by a curtain and the Loft King bed sleeping space (with additional sofa sleeper) is open and airy overlooking the grand living quarters.

Charming House that is located in the heart of Muskegon's Bluffton neighborhood. Located across the street from Muskegon Lake and a short distance from Lake Michigan. The enclosed sunporch and deck on the 2nd floor offer a partial view of Muskegon Lake. A 12 minute walk or 5 minute car ride and you're at the gorgeous Pere Marquette Park Beach on Lake Michigan.

This is a 2 story house with 2 bedrooms (Queen beds), 2 bathrooms, and 2 separate living areas, (both have a Queen sleeper sofa). There's an additional bonus room upstairs off of the living room, with a table and chairs, that provide additional space for doing jigsaw puzzles and playing board games.

Located next to a paved pedestrian path with seasonal Muskegon Lake views and close to downtown events and beaches makes this the perfect vacation spot! The space
Welcome to our nest with a view! The Cuckoo’s Nest is located on the hill that sits over the main drag into the City of North Muskegon. You’ll see traffic round the corner into the city center where there’s restaurants, small businesses, a local bar & grill, and more. Overlooking Muskegon Lake you’ll have views of a marina and a harbor where swans are often seen. Located just off the paved bike path it’s a perfect spot for walks to the close by nature center or a 4 mile bicycle ride to downtown Muskegon events. A kid’s playground with basketball courts is 1/4 mile walk away. There’s a front covered porch perfect for lazy summer days of bird watching. Vander Velde fishing pond is a short walk to the Witham street hill. This is a popular fishing spot. The house is in the middle of city yet a private location. Outside you will hear traffic noise. This is a quiet neighborhood. There is a Ring Video doorbell.

The home has many windows with an abundance of natural sunlight. The home has a large side yard and sits past a road end making it large and private. If your GPS routes you to the road end, just go around the corner to the alley entrance. There’s a paved parking lot on one side and a house on the other side of the home. The driveway is at the rear of the home off a paved alley. There’s enough parking in the driveway for 2 vehicles with trailers. If additional parking is needed there is free street parking very close by. We are currently sprucing up the yard and currently there are two areas with patio furniture and a fire pit.

The home has been updated with new aesthetics for a relaxing and comfortable experience. Each piece of furniture and art has been carefully curated for guests to enjoy. Vintage textile wall art, metal art, and pottery adorn the house. Upon entering from the rear of the home there’s 3 steps in the small entryway into the kitchen. There’s pots, pans, dishes, spices, and all the basics to make meals. Off the kitchen is an oval dining room table that seats 6. There’s an adjacent space with a sofa twin bed pull out and a work station desk. There’s 1 bathroom with a shower tub, well lit vanity, toiletries, and plenty of towels and washcloths. A mirrored bi-fold door separates the bath area from the washer and dryer.

The living room features a game/ sitting table that seats 4, a couch and chair that seats 4, and a 50” Roku television. Extra blankets & pillows are available for sleeping. There are games available in the snack bar cabinets.

The 2 bedrooms are upstairs. It’s a long staircase of 15 steps. The main bedroom has a nice seasonal view of Muskegon Lake. There’s a king size bed with comfortable bedding and pillows, a lounge chair and a small Roku television. Black out curtains allow for restful sleep. The 2nd bedroom has 2 new Coolvie extra long twin mattresses that can be used as one king bed. There’s a 50” Roku television, mirror, small dresser, and a small closet for belongings. There are black out blinds in the window. There is a door that leads to the attic in this room, please do not access this area.

There is a new king size Japanese floor mattress that can be used to sleep 2 additional guests on the floor. It’s located in the laundry area along with extra bedding.

There is a barn door that leads to the basement where supplies are stored. The door will have a keypad lock and should not be accessed.

Area attractions include many lakes including Muskegon Lake, Bear Lake, Lake Michigan, and the Muskegon River.

- "My wife and I stayed here with our 2-year-old and 4-month-old. The toddler enjoyed running around the big yard and playing on the comfortable and private porch (he very much enjoyed the mini cornhole and big Jenga, and we enjoyed the comfy chair). There are at least three restaurants within walking distance, one had live music one night, and the pizza place was great. Several playgrounds within minutes, and a short drive to the state park with a great beach and cool dunes. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable, and the house is nicely furnished and on a large, secluded lot. Highly recommend!"

Our wilderness cabin is the perfect place to get away and disconnect. Down a dirt road and deep in the woods with national forest on two sides of the property. The cabin is in a small clearing near the middle of the 10 acres. The rolling landscape has mature hardwoods and two short walking trails. Miles of dirt, seasonal and forest roads surround the cabin.

The cabin:
Two bedroom one bath cabin with heat, water, electricity, and a full kitchen. The cabin has one queen bed in the master bedroom and a twin over twin bunkbed with an additional twin trundle bed in the other. The open concept living room and kitchen allows for meal prep and eating to be social and connected.

The land:
More than a mile from the nearest paved road and 800 acres of National Forest on two sides of the property. The property has a long driveway with a grass clearing. The clearing is the ideal setting for camp fires, lawn games, picnic table meals and enjoying the sounds of nature. The dirt and seasonal roads in the area are perfect for exploring with your side by side, snowmobile, golf cart, hiking, or biking.

The bunkhouse:

The property has a detached bunkhouse that will give you the wilderness camping feel with the comfort of a mattress and electricity. The bunk house is simple: Two bunk beds in a summer camp style lofted cabin. The bunk house is insulated and does have electricity. The only bathroom is in the main cabin.

No pets, no parties, no large gatherings, no events or extra guests allowed. We strive to keep our wilderness cabin and land beautiful and these contract breaking activities make that very difficult.

The space
You have your own private entrance that welcomes you to an open style guesthouse. The bedroom area features a comfortable queen bed, smart TV, and sitting area. The kitchen and dining area is stocked with all the essentials needed to cook/prep meals. There are also many delicious restaurants in the area that are definitely worth checking out! Coffee (Keurig) and tea will be available for you. There is a room divider to separate the bedroom space from the kitchen area for more privacy.
The full bathroom has a shower/tub combo and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is provided.
Outside, please enjoy the private deck and comfortable patio furniture (seasonal only). A grill and fire pit will also be available for you to use (seasonal only). One small dog is welcome :) You will have access to the front, side yard for playing/relaxing!

Guest access
You have the entire guest suite to yourself. The guest suite and the main house are both accessed by the deck, but when guests are staying, hosts will use the front entrance to the main house to give guests more privacy. The suite can comfortably sleep 2 people.
Laundry may be used for a fee during appropriate and approved hours in the main house.

Other things to note
We have 2 Golden Retrievers - one named Huckleberry and one named Sawyer, and 1 German Shepherd/Pitbull mix, named Marlowe. You may hear them from time to time in the backyard, but overall; they are pretty quiet and chill dogs. If you are traveling with a dog, please do not leave your dog alone in the suite.
Please provide your own firewood if you plan on having a fire.
The thermostat is located in the main house and guests do not have access to it. Please reach out at any time if you would like the heat or AC adjusted and I'd be happy to do so. There is also an electric heater, ceiling fan, and tower fan in the suite.
** Please note, the outdoor furniture, BBQ grill, and firepit is stored for winter. Items will be brought back out in April/May.

Cabin #1 is a little more private and about 250 feet from the bathhouse. It is fully furnished (linens are included). There is a full size bed and an oversized chair with pull out twin bed. There is an empty loft that may be suited for small children, no adults. The cabin has a maximum capacity of 4 people. There is no running water or toilets in this rustic cabin, it does however have electricity and a propane furnace for heat in the winter months. There is no smoking allowed.

The space
There is a propane stove with oven, small fridge with freezer, a microwave, coffee pot, toaster and water dispenser. There is also a small set of pots and pans, cooking utensils and dining plates, cups and utensils.

There is a large pavillion with picnic tables.

There is a key lock box for entry. You will receive the code the morning of your check in. Please return the key to the lock box.

Towels and personal care items are not provided for the bathhouse. You must bring your own.

This is a semi rustic cabin, there is no running water in the cabin but there is a spigot at the bathhouse and a fresh water dispenser in the cabin.

There is no smoking allowed in the cabin.

Please remember to take your trash to the dumpster.

Please do not leave dirty dishes in the sink.

Everything you need to relax & recharge in one cozy space. Private entrance. This suite is an open floor plan with a small kitchenette that includes a fridge, microwave and stove with basic kitchen utensils and dishes. It is located in town close to stores, restaurants. Nice patio out back with covered area to grill out. Walking distance to the North Country Trail and 10 min from the new Dragon trail. There is one queen bed and a couch. It will comfortably sleep two guest.

-->Self-Towing Option: If you’d like to tow the camper yourself, it weighs 2,400 pounds and can be easily pulled by most vehicles with a tow hitch. To ensure protection for all parties when selecting the self towing option I will have you book the camper through Outdoorsy instead of on the Air B and B platform. The outdoorsy platform includes towing insurance coverage while air b and b does not.
