We visited by car (30 mins) the fantastic fish restaurants in the old town of Piran (Ivo restaurant the best). The Skiper resort has a great restaurant with great views and does a very good breakfast, the gym is very well equipped and the yoga sessions in the morning is a good way to get your day started. Plenty of shaded car parking under the apartments buildings. Large family swimming pool that has a cafe etc. there is a large area on the seaside with cafe and bar and sun beds with steps down to the water. Restaurants in the area are good and the Kempinski is a must visit for a meal or a night cap. There are Nice tennis courts and a large park. It is about 300 metres to the beautiful fully equipped golf club that also provides meals. There is an 18 hole golf course that is in very good condition and has a good degree of difficulty and challenging, we played twice with buggy and loved it even though it was hot. I highly recommend Skiper resort to families, groups, sports enthusiasts and couples alike. We will be back."

- "We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Badi! It is a beautiful family run hotel in the quiet village of Lovrecica (San Lorenzo), about 5 km from the big city of Umag. The owner and the staff are very friendly and speak very well English. It is well situated to do excursions during the day (Umag, Porec, Pula, Motovun, ...) and dive in the hotel's swimming pool when returning in the (late) afternoon. Very nice new room with balcony with sea view. Safe, TV and coffee facilities are available in the room. Nice breakfast buffet; there are some breakfast tables with a nice view on the pool. The village of Lovrecica is very small and quiet. You really need a car to go somewhere. Nevertheless, there are a few restaurants and strand bars within walking distance from the hotel.
