- "Upon arrival, the desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. I believe he said his name was Luis. He had only been working for a couple of weeks but he was AWESOME! When we checked in our room, we did our normal wipe down, antibacterial spray, and check the bedding. Well, we discovered bugs that were extremely tiny and would normally be brushed away like lint but one moved which is what caught our eye. This is not a complaint but a highlight to the hotel staff, specifically Maggie, who came to our room and changed all three beds with fresh bedding. She was so friendly. Once we got clean beds, we had an awesome experience. Each day we interacted with staff, they were very friendly and helpful with which beach we should go to, where to eat, and how to catch the trolley. I would definitely come back. "

Anna Cabana Bungalow #3 located at 3711 4th Avenue in Holmes Beach is in a ground level five unit complex that’s fun and affordable. It adjoins three other of the Cabana Bungalow units and is next door to the Cabana Beach House. With the numerous room configurations this is a perfect complex for larger families who want to be together. A brand new heated pool has just been installed!

This totally renovated Efficiency unit features a private outside patio area. It’s furnished with tranquil, tropical colors and beachy accessories. Anna Cabana Bungalow 3 has a queen size bed. It has a mini refrigerator, a coffee pot and a microwave. It has a 32” flat screen TV with a DVD player.

There is an adjoining door between units 2 and 3 if you need more space for additional guests.

Just steps to the beach, shopping and restaurants – a car may not even be necessary!

It can easily be rented with the three other Anna Cabana Bungalows for groups up to 12. The price for all four units rented together reflects a 5% discount!

For groups up to 16, the Cabana Beach House next door can easily be rented as well.

There is a coin operated laundry room on site for your convenience.

Just 2.5 blocks from the beach, with lake views out back, no rear neighbors, and beach gear included (basic stuff, not fancy). Part of a duplex in a quiet, safe area close to shops, dining, and the free trolley. Perfect for couples or small families seeking a laid-back getaway.

It’s a walkable, bike-friendly area with a free island trolley, making it easy to explore without a car. Important Note About Insects During Rainy Season

During the first heavy rains in May and June, it’s common in this region for fluttering termites to appear overnight, often trying to get into homes—even ones that have been professionally treated. A few can sometimes make it inside, especially in the evenings right after the first rains. We’re always happy to come by and spot-treat immediately, but if you wouldn’t be comfortable with us addressing it quickly—or if this is something you’d find upsetting—you may want to consider a different home. We do not offer refunds for this, as it's a very brief and natural seasonal occurrence.

Sugar ants can also appear, especially if food is left out on counters or crumbs aren’t cleaned up. This is more common during warmer months. Again, we’re happy to bring spray to help manage it if needed, but we don’t issue refunds for ant sightings either.

These things rarely cause concern—maybe one guest a year—but we like to be upfront so there are no surprises. If this would be a deal breaker for you, it’s probably best to choose a different rental that better fits your expectations.
