The space
We invite you to stay in our cozy, pet-friendly home in a quiet Midland neighbourhood. The house offers three bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs, each with queen-sized beds and TVs.

Located along the picturesque shores of Georgian Bay, our end-unit townhouse offers a lot of natural light. The private yard is a perfect space for your furry companion to explore and play while you enjoy some relaxation time in the hot tub.

The cozy living space nicely blends with the dining room, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen is well-appointed with a stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. All kitchen essentials are provided. We advocate for eco-conscious practices, urging guests to recycle and compost and minimize the use of packaged products.

Our maximum guest policy is 8. All guests must be registered at the time of booking. Extra guests including day visitors are not permitted. The home is NOT a destination for parties, buck and does, bachelor and bachelorette parties, exceeding the guest limit, staying up late and being loud or rude. We respect our neighbours and want to make sure they are not disturbed or disrespected. We thank you for being the best guests ever!

Please note, we have indicated that the house is not suitable for infants and children. This is due to the fact that the house is not child proof and there are two sets of stairs without baby gates. We cannot be liable for any incidents that occur if children are onsite.

The beds on the upper floors are raised (with a bed frame, box spring and mattress) and may be difficult to get in and out of for anyone with mobility issues. We may provide step stools in case they are needed. The bed in the basement room is a normal height.

Pets are permitted as long as they are added to the booking. Pets are NOT permitted on any of the beds. If you do wish to have your pet on the beds then we request that you bring your own bedding (ours are white and we'd like to keep them that way) so that our linens don't get stained or accumulate dog hair. Please ensure your pet is watched at all times and does not damage anything or cause a disturbance to the neighbours. They must be on a leash when outside and please pick up after your pet on the lawn as well.

The living space nicely blends with the dining room and kitchen creating a welcoming open concept atmosphere. The kitchen is well-appointed with a stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. All kitchen essentials are provided including a Keurig coffee machine and some coffee pods. We advocate for eco-conscious practices, urging guests to recycle and compost and minimize the use of packaged products. A second story deck has been added for guest enjoyment.

House Rules:

The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any given time is 6. Should it be found that there are more than six people on the property at any given time, you will be asked to leave with no refund. You will be charged for the extra guests.

Absolutely no parties allowed. The Noise-By-Law is in effect 24 hours a day.

Up to two pets are allowed per group, provided they are fully house trained, will not damage the furniture, will not be left alone in the house and will not be noisy. A $50 pet fee is required for any extra cleaning needed and if any damage is done to the house, the guest will be solely responsible for reimbursement.

Children must be supervised at all times while on the property. By booking with us you accept any and all liability for any incidents that may occur and agree to supervise children at all times.

Campfires: Before you start a fire, it is your responsibility to know if a FIRE BAN is in effect by calling the township.

In order to have a campfire on a property in Midland, a Fire Permit must be obtained. You will find this permit in the rental binder.

No smoking inside. Please put all butts into the fire pit or specified ashtray.

No animals on the furniture.

No grease down the drain. Please empty cooking oil and other grease into the compost (we’re on a septic system)

Only toilet paper can be flushed down toilets (we’re on a septic system)

House Rules (must meet these to book): Rents Friday-Friday only during the high season (end of June - end of August). Sleeps 8 (max 6 adults). Lead guest must be 30+ years of age. Up to 1 dog welcome (no more than 1 dog allowed). No parties allowed. A supplemental information form must be completed. Please note that, according to the municipality's bylaws, all dogs must be leashed or tethered on the property when outside. Dogs are not permitted to roam leash-free.

It is remarkable how fast the city of Midland recedes into the background when you turn off the main road on to Sumac Lane. The tree-lined cottage road soon lets you know that you are definitely at the cottage, although the town is close by and easily accessible when you need it. Little Lake is not well known, generally lost in the shadow of the much larger Georgian Bay, but it offers its own special cottage vacation.

Stepping into the cottage, the open concept living, kitchen and dining areas open up before you, all enjoying a wonderful lake panorama. A walkout takes you onto a wonderful deck where the views and breezes are second to none. The main bedroom and bath are on this level as well. The lower level include 2 bedrooms, a 3-piece bathroom and a family room (a perfect place to enjoy board games or a good book) and feature a walkout to one of the star attractions here, the hot tub!
A set of stairs takes you down to the waterfront. the entry to the water is shallow and it remains shallow out to beyond the dock, making it a spot for toddlers and non-swimmers to enjoy.

The local area offers shopping and history. A visit to the Wye Marsh Conservation Area is the choice of many. The towns of Penetanguishene and Midland are well known for their small town charm. Take in a concert at the Midland Cultural Centre (be sure to look for the Midland Murals), enjoy a round of golf at one of the local courses or take a boat ride with Miss Midland Cruises. On the other side of the lake, you will find Little Lake Park, a picturesque park with both natural and active settings. Home of the YMCA, Georgian Bay Rowing Club, North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre, Huronia Museum and Huron Ouendat Indian Village, Huron Ouendat Ossuary, Midland Curling Club, Midland Lawn Bowling Club, Skateboard Park, Civitan Ball Diamond, Beach Volleyball Courts, Tennis Courts, Dog Park, Basketball Court, Disc Golf, play equipment, boating (10hp and under only), prescribed burn and naturalized areas, community garden, horticultural displays, nature trails, picnic shelters, three separate washroom facilities, snack bar.

Then again, a relaxing afternoon with a glass of wine on the deck punctuated by a dip in the hot tub may be all you need to let the stress of everyday life disappear for a week.

Please note that, according to the municipality's bylaws, all dogs must be leashed or tethered on the property when outside. Dogs are not permitted to roam leash-free.
A post departure cleaning service is included with rental. Departure checklist must be completed.
The cottage is located in a family community, perfect for multi-generational family gatherings however, parties are not tolerated.
Linens and indoor towels are provided for all rentals; please bring your own outdoor towels.

Waterfront. The entry to the water is shallow and it remains shallow out to beyond the dock, making it a great spot for toddlers and non-swimmers to enjoy. Entry is soft under foot and swimming shoes are recommended.

Winter Notes. In winter the 1 Km access road is plowed by a private contractor when required, so for winter rentals good winter tires are highly recommended and 4WD would also be an advantage.

- "We enjoyed our stay. Thanks!" - "Great area/unit" - "Be advised, there is NO TV with cable channels contrary to the listing. We booked this place as we are avid sports fans and found that there was an analog antennae attached to the wall with only 1 channel that faded in and out. Old DVD's were there. Upon checking with the owner he said that internet people needed to fix it, obviously a lie, as there was no cable box or internet box to fix, just an old antennae. We paid a lot and did not get a TV with anything. The faucet in the kitchen is leaking and one sink in the bathroom has been unhooked so you dont really have separate sinks that are working. He is aware of it, so if you book after August 24th and they have not been fixed, there should be no excuses. On a positive note it is a great space, nice beds and linens and towels, Too bad he advertised cable/sattelite when there was never one there and we paid for it - no apologies or offer of a discount - really bad customer service."

The Little Lake House is located close to Little Lake but is not directly on the lake.

Lawn care will make a quick stop by on Thursdays or Fridays.

Snow care will stop by as needed, but there is a shovel for your convenience.

The house is situated on a busy street, which means you may hear traffic or construction noise at times. The home has a good sound barrier, but if you're very sensitive to noise, this may not be the best fit.
The property is in front of a retirement home parking lot, but you will have a private driveway next to the house which can accommodate up to 2 cars.

The backyard does back on to the retirement home parking lot but there are tall hedges for privacy, making it a comfortable space to enjoy the outdoors. Please note however, it is not 100% secluded, so there may be some visibility from the surrounding area.
- Our maximum guest policy is 4. All guests must be registered at the time of booking. Extra guests including day visitors are not permitted.

- "Excellent!!" - "Really cozy cottage with very comfy beds, spacious kitchen, living room and parking. Bathroom amenities and some kitchen supplies available so you don't have to bring everything. The house was cleaned and organized, and it was nice for the host to leave the AC on before our arrival. Outdoor space better than described and we thought the street was not that busy/noisy (perhaps because of the major road work which limits traffic).Wish the whole place was equipped for all four guests, offered beach items (so you don't have to fill up your trunk with bulky items), had dishwasher and fans for the rooms (AC available only in common area). Although the place did not match 100% the ad, I would still recommend it. Unless you really need laundry facility, which is listed but it does not have.The host was very nice and responsive. "

Freshly decorated in 2024, we offer 2 bedrooms with queen custom-built beds. A luxury mattress, for your comfort and hopefully sweet dreams. Both rooms have walk-in closets to store luggage as well as shelves & hanging space. The main bedroom is 18' with a seating area overlooking Midland. A dedicated workspace in a common area. A 19' sunroom equipped with a 43-inch smart TV has various seating to relax or play the electric keyboard provided for your entertainment. A fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, stainless convection oven, microwave, and induction stove & refrigerator as well as various ways to grind and brew your coffee is available. The kitchen is ready to use. The kitchen is stocked with many vintage crystal serving dishes and china in the dining room. Not dishwasher safe but you are welcome to use it if you desire.
Stairs are necessary for the 2nd-floor private 6-room apartment. The entire apartment is yours. Free parking, possibly an area to park a small boat or sea doo. Contact for details.
The patio and privacy fenced area is for guest use. The pool is open many days but there is upgrades and maintenance, so the pool is not listed as an amenity scheduled to open and possibly available, NOT listed so it is a bonus if you have access.
The owner is on-site and available if needed, while respecting your privacy. I want guests to have the best experience possible. I enjoy conversations with guests. I also respect that guests simply want to enjoy the space and privacy my listing offers.

This beautiful contemporary apartment was completely renovated in 2020 and is complete with a fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, an open concept living dining room area and in unit laundry as well as being dog friendly with a separate outdoor patio space. The kitchen has a full size fridge, keurig and nepresso maker, microwave, toaster and other small kitchen appliances. Sheets, pillows and towels are also provided. There are two smart tvs (one in living room and one in the bedroom)

The space has been designed to be bright with a cozy feel. The owners are outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy mountain biking, skiing, hiking, paddle boarding and exploring the numerous trails around Simcoe County. Michelle is an amateur painter and you will find pieces of art throughout the space. Guests have access to two sets of snowshoes and two kayaks available for use in the trails and on beautiful Georgian Bay.

Access to Little Lake Park is close by where there is hiking trails, fishing, swimming, a restaurant, lawn bowling, rowing club, free tennis courts and a local disc golf course. We are a 15 minute walk to downtown with many great restaurants, shops, art gallery, theatre, library and the town docks.
We are 30 minutes from Mt. St. Louise & Horseshoe Valley ski hills.

Cozy 1 bedroom apartment in vibrant Downtown Midland. We’ve recently renovated this full one bedroom apartment and it is ready for you to enjoy! – its beauty matches the beauty of the town.

This is the ideal place to relax in. When venturing out to explore the area we know you’ll enjoy Midland Harbour. This picturesque natural attraction has been a favourite of tourists and boaters from around the world. Our home is just a few minutes’ walk away!

The space
You'll enter this unit thought the porch and then by its own private entrance on the second floor.

This unit is in the second floor. Please note the unit on the main floor is also listed for guests and it is separated from this one. The house is a detached duplex.

This unit comprises of six main areas, a bedroom, full kitchen, living room, dining area, an office space, laundry space, plus a full-size bathroom.

It accommodates up to 2 guests. We have a sofa bed in the living room and you can have one more guest, but we do suggest the apartment for couples only.

The unit was furnished with a mix between modern and antique to keep a cottage/vintage look.

It is comfortable, well maintained, fully equipped and has been designed for us as our vacation home, with the mind set it will be used for guests as well.

The living room boasts a doubled-sized sofa bed, coffee table, a 50’’ HDTV Smart TV with cable, (access to Netflix, Prime, Disney Plus, Bell TV, Crave), and Alexa sound system.

The dining area has a country style table and chairs for 4 people.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed, two night tables, a 40’’ HDVT Smart TV., an electric chimney (you can manage it using Alexa voice control), a closet.

Ensuite bathroom loaded with towels, toilet paper, and a welcome courtesy package of shampoo, condicioner, body wash/soap, and body lotion.

The kitchen features a stainless-steel full-sized fridge, induction stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, French press coffee maker, plus plates, cups, glasses, wine glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils, cookware and more.

And if you are working remotely, there is a dedicated office area with a desk and chair for this purpose.

The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any given time is 6. Should it be found that there are more than six people on the property at any given time, you will be asked to leave with no refund. You will be charged for the extra guests.

Absolutely no parties allowed. The Noise-By-Law is in effect 24 hours a day.

Up to two pets are allowed per group, provided they are fully house trained, will not damage the furniture, will not be left alone in the house and will not be noisy. A $50 pet fee is required for any extra cleaning needed and if any damage is done to the house, the guest will be solely responsible for reimbursement.

Children must be supervised at all times while on the property. By booking with us you accept any and all liability for any incidents that may occur and agree to supervise children at all times.

Campfires: Before you start a fire, it is your responsibility to know if a FIRE BAN is in effect by calling the township.
In order to have a campfire on a property in Midland, a Fire Permit must be obtained. You will find this permit in the rental binder.

The space
The Coachhouse is a charming home away from home, outfitted with everything that you would need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
We have a fully stocked kitchen with everything that you could possibly need to make cooking a pleasure even on vacation.
The Coachhouse is filled with charm, to the beautiful original Pine Floors on the upstairs level, right down to the Cozy and very comfortable beds.
You are a short walk from Little lake, a beautiful park with a sandy beach, two playgrounds, bike and walking trails and a old time ice cream and burger shop.
You can leave the car behind and tour the town on foot or bicycle.

If you feel like venturing out further we are a ten minute drive to Balm beach, the longest fresh water beach in North America. See a play at King's Wharf or do some exploring at Discovery Harbour in Penetanguishene.
Take a stroll down Midlands main street and visit some of our quaint shops or enjoy a lunch or dinner at the dock restaurant overlooking Georgian Bay.

Our Vacation Home, is in vibrant Downtown Midland. We’ve recently renovated our amazing century home and it is ready for you to enjoy! – its beauty matches the beauty of the town.

Our spacious home features a great backyard for you to relax in. When venturing out to explore the area we know you’ll enjoy Midland Harbour. This picturesque natural attraction has been a favourite of tourists and boaters from around the world. Our home is just a few minutes’ walk away!

The space
You'll enter this unit thought the porch and then by its own private entrance at the front. The house is a detached duplex.

This unit is in the main floor and it's the only one that has full access to backyard and pool areas.

This unit comprises of five main areas, full kitchen, spacious living and dining room, an extra-large bedroom, laundry room plus a full-size bathroom.

It accommodates up to 5 guests.

The unit was furnished with a mix between modern and antique to keep a cottage/vintage look.

It is comfortable, well maintained, fully equipped and has been designed for us as our vacation home, with the mind set it will be used for guests as well.

The living room boasts a doubled-sized sofa bed, a single-sized sofa bed, coffee table, a 50’’ HDTV Smart TV with cable, (access to Netflix, Prime, Disney Plus, Bell TV, Crave). Also a piano and fireplace round out the living room.
The dining room has a country style table and chairs for 6 people.

The extra-large bedroom has a queen sized bed, two nights tables, a 50’’ HDVT Smart TV., an electric chimney (you can manage it using Alexa voice control), a wardrobe and if you are working remotely, it also has a desk and chair for this purpose. The bedroom has a beautiful view of the backyard where you can enjoy the seasoned landscape.

Ensuite bathroom loaded with towels, toilet paper, and a welcome courtesy package of shampoo, condicioner, body wash/soap, and body lotion.

The fully loaded kitchen features a stainless-steel full-sized fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, popcorn maker, rice maker and blender, plus plates, cups, glasses, wine/beer glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and more.

Laundry room has a washer and dryer machines, iron and iron table and laundry basket.

The backyard has deck with awning, BBQ with utensils, outdoor dining table with 6 chairs, and access to our private heated swimming pool. The garden is huge, gorgeous and has lots of privacy.

BBQ and swimming pool are available from June to the first long weekend in September.

Outdoor furniture: Two lazy chairs, comfy sofa for two, coffee table and umbrella for shade. Also two Muskoka chairs close to the firepit area.

For monthly stays we recommend listing for two people. Even though house accommodates 5, for your convenience en these terms is better for two only.
Due to the COVID19, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We are also using disinfectants between each reservation as an extra precaution. Our check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am.

I am here to make your stay in my spacious apartment as pleasant as possible in Midland.

The space
Freshly renovated and updated in 2024, our property features two bedrooms, each with custom-built queen beds and luxurious mattresses for your comfort and hopefully sweet dreams. Both rooms include walk-in closets for luggage storage, along with shelving and hanging space.

The main bedroom is 18 feet long and has a cozy seating area that overlooks Midland. We also provide a dedicated workspace in a common area. The property includes a 19-foot sunroom equipped with a 43-inch smart TV and various seating options, perfect for relaxation or playing the provided electric keyboard for your entertainment.

The fully equipped kitchen boasts a dishwasher, stainless steel convection oven, microwave, and refrigerator, along with multiple coffee grinding options. It is ready for use, stocked with vintage crystal serving dishes and china in the dining room—though please note that these items are not dishwasher safe.

The pool is currently closed for renovations and repairs, but the patio is accessible for your enjoyment.

Please note that the stove features invisible induction cooktops, which create a magnetic field between the cookware and hidden burners, heating only the area where the pots sit—this means you won’t see the burners even while they are in use.

Additionally, the Midland Arena and Midland Cultural Center are both within walking distance or a short 3-minute drive, making it easy to enjoy the fabulous concerts and entertainment offered at the MCC.

Guest access
Stairs are necessary for the 2nd-floor private apartment. The entire apartment is yours. Free parking, possibly an area to park a small boat or sea doo. Please contact for details. There will be a charge for extra parking.
The patio and privacy-fenced area are for guest use. The pool is open on many days; however, due to upgrades and maintenance, it is not listed as an amenity scheduled to open and may not be available. PRESENTLY not available to use.

Other things to note
The Butter Tart Festival in Midland is just a short distance away. Please note that the street is blocked steps from this location. The North Simcoe Sports & Recreation Centre is easily within walking distance for hockey tournaments.

You're less than 5 minutes away from various options including restaurants, the city center, bars, shops, cafes, parks, museums, a beach, and the Georgian Spirit cruise tour of Georgian Bay or Discovery Harbour. The harbor is just minutes away, serving as the gateway to Georgian Bay's 30 Thousand Islands, where you can enjoy beautiful water views aboard the Georgian Spirit cruise ship.

For those who enjoy biking, there are popular trails nearby. We also provide a fenced outdoor area where you can securely lock your bikes; however, please note that we are not responsible for them.

Being in MID-Midland, you may hear nearby traffic and the occasional siren. A camera monitors the common areas outside for your safety. Self check-in is available for your convenience.
