The space
Charming One Bedroom Cottage (sleeping up to four) in picturesque village with plenty of walks and places of interest. The property is well located for either Ipswich, Woodbridge, Suffolk Coastal regions or BT Martlesham. It dates back to the 17th Century and has beams and original features throughout.

You approach the cottage through a pretty courtyard style garden, with a bistro table and chairs ideal for quiet relaxation. Enter into the fitted kitchen which has plenty of cupboard space and is well equipped for your stay. The downstairs bathroom has a shower and modern fixtures and fittings, all recently refurbished.

The cosy lounge, featuring a brick fireplace with a new wood burner, is perfect for relaxing, with flat-screen TV and sofa. The sofa converts to a double bed, easily accommodating additional guests.

Upstairs the large double bedroom is light and airy, with a sloping ceiling, built in wardrobe and modern furniture.

Access to the whole property. Please note due to very steep stairs this property may not be suitable for young children, the elderly or the infirm. Also note that the second double bed is a sofabed in the lounge. It may therefore be a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults because guests need to walk through the lounge to access the bathroom.

Fushia Chalet is in a super rural position and yet is only 11/2 miles from the historic market town of Framlingham. With its 15th century castle,market,cafes and some great pubs.The coast is within easy driving distance with Aldeburgh and Southwold lovely areas to explore,the cultural hub of Snape has regular concerts and Minsmere bird sanctuary is a must visit.
There is a fishing lake on the property with Tench and Carp which is a lovely place to watch the sunset with a glass of wine ! .

My place comes with a little terrace to sit outside and enjoy the unique setting, with miles of walks right on the doorstep. If that isn't enough, the romantic Shingle Street beach is just a 5 minute drive away! You'll sleep on a very comfortable double bed, which has received excellent reviews from all of who slept on it so far!

This is quite simply one of the most unique corners of Suffolk. Aside from the secluded rural setting you will be close to a wealth of favourite Suffolk sites including the famous Sutton Hoo, the lovely Suffolk coast and its rivers, the Deben and Ore/Alde

This is definitely a place to bring a car. Such a special location comes with a small cost of a very limited public transport. For the best experience bring a car as this will allow you to explore!

There are no breakfast-making facilities in the room, but for £9.00 per person (in cash) I'll provide a lovely breakfast for you to enjoy, COVID permitting, by the Aga in my kitchen.

I am a dog lover and indeed have two Labradors of my own, but sadly I am unable to accommodate doggie guests (even the most well behaved !)
The room is quite compact , and I know from experience that dog hairs can get into the tiniest of places .

Please note regarding internet: my garden is a secluded get away and a little far from the main house to get a reliable WIFI signal. Some guests have been able to connect to the booster in the room, but others not. If you need WiFi during your stay, you can connect to the main network whilst having breakfast.

Driveway and entrance hall are shared. Guests do not have access to the rest of the property. There are no other upstairs rooms so it is a separate and private bedroom with ensuite bathroom, which is quiet and feels separate from the main house.

Knock on the door to the main living area if you need anything, between 10am and 8pm
You may hear the dogs bark when you enter the house. They don’t bark at other times, unless a delivery man comes!

Shared driveway, so please park in front of the garage door, far enough forward to allow cars to move in and out of the other spaces.

We have two small dogs who are not allowed in the Air BnB accommodation at all . But if you have a severe dog allergy the accommodation may not be suitable due to the shared hallway.

A stunning studio of contemporary design, just completed to exacting standards, this holiday home is situated within walking and cycling distance of Orford and Snape, with their well-known cultural, sporting and gastronomic attractions. The Loose Box is part of an award-winning Jacobean farmhouse restoration set in 5 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds next door to All Saints Church and surrounded by fields, forests, woodland and an extensive network of footpaths.

The space
The Loose Box has its own entrance and is spacious, warm and very comfortable throughout the year. It has its own shower room, vanity unit and WC, and sliding glass doors open up onto a small private terrace. A shared parking area and shared outdoor sitting-out area are close by. There are no cooking appliances but there is a microwave in addition to breakfast facilities including a Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster and drinks fridge.

• Drainage
The property is not connected to a public sewer and relies on its own septic tank treatment plant. This only accepts organic human waste and small quantities of toilet paper. Please place all other waste in the bin provided. Make-up pads, cotton buds etc must not under any circumstances be flushed down the toilet.
