Lodge cottage is a beautiful thatched holiday home with access to a heated outdoor swimming pool and a large garden set in the 5 acre picturesque grounds of Hacheston Lodge near the Suffolk Heritage Coast. It is a detached colonial style house, with a balcony and verandah offering accommodation for 5 people. The pool is open (morning and evening) from the end of May to the end of September. The cottage has a spacious and light first floor sitting room / dining room with French windows opening onto the south west facing balcony - a wonderful place to sit on a warm summer's evening. The three bedrooms are on the ground floor below. In addition to the verandah and balcony, guests have exclusive use of a large grassed garden.

Whilst on the ground floor we have a separate WC, one separate shower room with basin, the kingsize bedroom en-suite bath with basin and a seperate family bathroom with bath/shower and WC. The main kitchen has two ovens and there is a seperate serving area with a sink and serving space with fridge and extra cutlery, dishes, plates.

This classic Suffolk beautiful Farmhouse has 4 main bedrooms , one has en-suite and there's a family bathroom upstairs, while downstairs has an extra single bedroom and separate shower room and toilet. There's a wonderful kitchen with optional AGA with all mod cons. There are two sitting rooms with wood burner and an open fire. Also a large garden with optional Hot Tub off of the utility room with toy shed and swings.
French doors off of a lounge overlooking its private garden with wood burner and an open fire in the other sitting rooms. The garden has swings and a shed full of garden toys. There is an optional Hot Tub off of the utility room, also a garden Sauna near our front pound. While upstairs you have 4 bedrooms (one is en-suite including a shower) and there is also a family bathroom with bath shower. Two of the bedrooms have 2 singles in each and two bedrooms have doubles (one is kingsize).

Downstairs theres a 5th bedroom with a single bed off the kitchen with a separate shower room and toilet. There's a dinning room off the kitchen overlooking the garden and two further sitting rooms in this beautiful holiday accommodation. Fantastic for entertaining where some families get together and love the atmosphere it provides.

Dog stay's have a minimum fee and can be booked as an optional extra.

Meadow View is a recently refurbished Grade 2 listed cottage situated in a lovely position in the village of Earl Soham in the heart of the glorious Suffolk countryside, enjoying wonderful views to the rear over meadowland and undulating farmland. Within walking distance of Earl Soham's famous Victoria Pub and Mr Hutton's Butchers. Also a short drive to Suffolk Heritage Coast. Sleeps up to 5 people (1 double and 3 single beds).

Meadow View is a Grade II listed 18th Century former agricultural workers cottage. Internally, there are exposed timbers throughout some of the rooms and an attractive brick fireplace with multi-fuel stove in the sitting room. As well as the sitting room, there is a spacious kitchen/dining room. The Wren kitchen is recently installed. Off the dining room is a lean-to conservatory which is a great place to relax and enjoy the countryside views over the garden.

On the first floor are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, as well as a modern bathroom. Bed 1 has a double bed. Bed 2 has two singles (which can be converted to a double on request). Bed 3 is a single. There are front and rear gardens, as well as a designated parking space.

There is a pretty lawned garden to the front and a larger rear garden laid mainly to lawn with fabulous uninterrupted views over undulating meadows and farmland. You can also (conditions permitting) view stunning sunsets and stargaze across the dark sky.

- "Absolutely couldn't fault this place. Cottage was spotlessly clean. There was some milk and wine left for us and the owner even made us a cake. Plenty of cleaning products and all the other bits and kitchen utensils etc. you need in a home away from home. Rooms were good sizes and the kitchen / dining area looks out onto a lovely garden and is really light and airy. Our 2 year old told us it was just like the Goldilocks cottage and we couldn't have summed it up better if we tried. There was a high chair and travel cot available if needed and it has its own parking space which is really handy. Wifi worked a treat. Really lovely place and really lovely hosts."

- "I stayed at The Stables from a Friday night to the Monday morning in November 2024. Bill and Sarah were warm and welcoming both on the phone, giving me good directions and in person. Our stay was comfortable, the cottage was immaculately clean, well equipped and well situated for visiting local sights. When we were getting ready to leave on the Monday morning, Bill noticed that I had a flat tyre on my car, he offered to take it off and then take it to the local tyre place to have it fixed, luckily I only needed for it to be pumped up and I got it to the tyre place myself. I could not recommend the The Stables enough and will be returning myself in the future."

From your dedicated parking space(s) follow the path into the courtyard and to the private door of Little Daisy. You will step into the kitchen area ideal for preparing breakfast and light meals. It’s compact design offers a fridge and small freezer, induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, kitchen sink. To the left is a contemporary shower room: fully tiled walk-in shower, toilet, wash basin, heated towel rail, underfloor heating. All towels and toiletries are provided.
The main room has a king size brass bedstead with quality bedding. There is a small area for hanging clothes and further under bed clothes storage. At the foot of the bed are two comfortable chairs and a small drop leaf table where you can sit and read the papers over a leisurely breakfast or work on your laptop. The fireplace has a log stove effect electric fire. WiFi available for guests.
Outside in the secluded courtyard is a rack for your wellie boots and a table and chairs.
Little Daisy is the end part of our home Daisy Cottage. Sitting in over two acres and dating from the 16th century, it is one of the oldest properties in the village and Grade 2 listed. It is in the heart of the village but well set back from the road. There are lots of lovely local walks you can take from Little Daisy. Local shops, places to eat and interesting places to visit are within easy driving distance.
Access to Little Daisy is by a key code box. The code will be sent to you prior to arrival and you will then have your own set of keys to come and go as you please. We are on site, if you need anything message or come and find us.
An essentials Welcome basket is provided, ideal for late arrivals.

A perfect area to explore by car, bike or on foot. Surrounded by many picturesque villages and small towns, you will find the pace of life here is unhurried.
Other things to note:
There are no stairs in Little Daisy however there is a small step into the property and a step between the kitchen area and bedroom.

I provide guests with breakfast items. Either croissant or good quality bread, butter, jam, fresh fruit and juice or smoothie. There is a selection of tea, coffee and fresh milk.

I follow a five-step enhanced cleaning process, using quality cleaning products.

The Knox is a new build single story, 'L' shaped private dwelling with 2 banks of 'bi-fold' doors overlooking a large pond in a secluded sunny courtyard. Suitable for four adults, however unfortunately not suitable for people with mobility issues / wheelchairs due to uneven levels. Children under the age of eight are not allowed but babe in arms are.

Charming One Bedroom Cottage (sleeping up to four) in picturesque village with plenty of walks and places of interest. The property is well located for either Ipswich, Woodbridge, Suffolk Coastal regions or BT Martlesham. It dates back to the 17th Century and has beams and original features throughout.

You approach the cottage through a pretty courtyard style garden, with a bistro table and chairs ideal for quiet relaxation. Enter into the fitted kitchen which has plenty of cupboard space and is well equipped for your stay. The downstairs bathroom has a shower and modern fixtures and fittings, all recently refurbished.

The cosy lounge, featuring a brick fireplace with a new wood burner, is perfect for relaxing, with flat-screen TV and sofa. The sofa converts to a double bed, easily accommodating additional guests.

Upstairs the large double bedroom is light and airy, with a sloping ceiling, built in wardrobe and modern furniture.

This cosy Grade II listed 17th century cottage is next to the village church of Campsea Ashe and is ideally located for Suffolk's beautiful heritage coast, heathlands and forests, as well as Snape Maltings, Orford, Aldeburgh and Woodbridge.
Adjoining Smithy House and the old forge, it has lots of character with a carefully curated interior, a wood burning stove, and use of a private part of the garden.
It is a 6 minute walk from the train station, the Station House Café and the village pub.

The space
The cottage in "one up, one down", with a little staircase up to the bedroom.
The bedroom is light and airy with a large cupboard for clothes and bags, a little fireplace(not used) and a place to sit and read.

The living room has a sofa and chair, as well as a dining table and 2 chairs, and the wood-burning stove.

The shower room is tiny, but has everything you need.

The kitchen is also small, but has lots of charm and overlooks the main garden.

The garden is separate from our garden, so privacy is possible.

The part of the garden overlooked by the cottage living room is exclusively for guests of the cottage. Other parts of the garden, like garden house and fire pit would be subject to arrangement at time of intended use.

This cottage adjoins Smithy House & Forge, built 200 years earlier.
We live in Smithy House, which connects to the cottage by a single locked door. We have carefully restored the cottage retaining as much of the original character as possible. For example, the downstairs floors are made from Suffolk bricks, the walls are lime plastered and the old bedroom floorboards gently slope, with the shower room and loo downstairs. Please note we haven't included a television, but there is WIFI and a cupboard full of board games!
We have installed a wood burning stove (and will provide firewood and guidance for lighting and maintaining the fire) which is wonderful for creating a really cosy space, especially in winter. There is also central heating and extra electric radiators if needed.
There is a tiny old kitchen door which leads out to a small courtyard, and an area of the garden for our visitor's use. A table and chairs are there in warmer months for outdoor eating.
Off road parking is available on the "drive" at the front of Smithy House (opposite the church).

Church Street runs off Market Hill, the main square in Orford. Orford packs quite a punch for a small village and benefits from two fine public houses (The Jolly Sailor & The King’s Head), a smokery (Pinneys), school, two well-known restaurants (The Butley Oysterage and The Crown & Castle) as well as a thriving village shop, a butcher, a farmers’ market, a newsagent and not to mention the rather fabulous Pump Street Bakery. The close proximity to the river allows the opportunity to pursue a wide variety of water sports and Orford is particularly well known for sailing. The National Nature Reserves of Orford Ness and Havergate Island are situated in the River Ore just to the southeast of the village, renowned for its bird life. Orford is an extremely attractive village situated on the River Ore with a popular 12th century castle, a church which was used by Benjamin Britten for premieres and performances of some of his works including his Church Parables. There are 18-hole golf courses at Woodbridge and Aldeburgh.

The space
It's fairytale because everywhere you look is beautiful and all yours to explore, set up picnics, light a BBQ or just lay down and look at the sky!
You overlook this picturesque moated medieval hunting lodge called Letheringham Lodge but are secluded and private in your own enchanting little cottage with electric gate access and parking in front.

The kitchen has everything you could need for an escape from the crazy world: induction hob and oven; fridge; cafetière, coffee, tea, and milk. There is a microwave but no dishwasher.

There is a TV in the lounge and because we have a commercial grade internet connection, it is easy to stream films or catch up on missed programmes.

The bath in the upstairs bedroom is a complete luxury to soak away all your worries but if you are a shower person, there is a modern but intimate wet room with shower and toilet on the ground floor.

We provide infinite firewood for your woodburner so you may not want to ever leave your cosy little hideaway.

We are totally dog friendly (even providing dog shampoo and swimming towels) but since the cottage is compact and bijoux we do not recommend it for large breeds or more than one medium sized dog.

Guest access
When you book, you will be given a passcode to the electric gates and your front door. Come and go whenever you please (24 hours a day) and you are welcome to go everywhere around the estate. We can provide you with a portable BBQ so you can set up camp where you fancy! Please take your chairs and tables and set up camp where you like.

There are two other cottages on Airbnb but they have different entrances and different parking areas. One is back to back with yours but only one room has a shared wall so unlikely to be a problem.

Parking is just around the corner from your cottage - 20 steps but drop off is very easy.

Other things to note
The cottage is adorable because it is cosy. Please be aware that the lounge/kitchen is 3 metres by 3 metres and the upstairs bedroom is 4 metres by 3 metres. The downstairs shower room is 2 metres by 1.5 metres.

Because the stairs are steep and the toilet is on the ground floor we do not recommend this for individuals who find steep stairs hard to negotiate at night.

There is a porch with 2 chairs and a table which we invite you to move anywhere around the 75 acre estate. We also provide an outside dining area under a tree with another 2 chairs for your exclusive use but this specific cottage does not have its own garden.

The Old Library is suitable for singles, couples with up to 2 children or 3 adults. The building dates from the early 19th century and the core building was originally the forge which serviced the adjacent maltings. It has been completely refurbished, insulated, and brought up to modern standards. Being a single-story building it has easy access and the clean white walls, light oak flooring and large windows give it a light aspect, while the woodburner makes the lounge a cosy room in winter.

The Old Library is a newly renovated single level cottage in the centre of Wickham Market within the Suffolk countryside and close to the coast. The Library provides:

Hope Cottage is small but perfectly formed. Hope Cottage is a pretty and charming cottage located in the popular village of Ufford close to Woodbridge and with easy access to the Suffolk Heritage Coast, Sizewell and Ipswich.

On the ground floor, there is a lovely sitting room complete with an open fire, perfect during the winter months. It also has a new smart TV.

There is a fully equipped kitchen perfect for any chef wanting to create a culinary masterpiece using some local Suffolk produce; the kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and fridge freezer.

Stairs from the sitting room lead up to the first landing, there is a luxury bedroom with a king-size bed made up for you with Egyptian cotton linen.

The bedroom is light and airy with a lovely big built-in wardrobe, a hairdryer, and a fan for those very warm summer nights.

The bathroom is luxurious, with a lovely big deep-set bath, a walk-in shower, WC and washbasin... luxury white and soft bath and hand towels are supplied.

The private back garden is laid with artificial grass and boasts a delightful summer house with seating creating the perfect place to enjoy a glass of something special on a long summer's evening.

The space
Brookes Cottage is a converted barn building nestled next to a Suffolk farmhouse (Brookes) with 16th century origins.

We generate our own electricity from solar panels on site and central heating is provided by a wood pellet boiler (and your own wood burning stove, if you want to feel really cosy).

The cottage has a double bedroom with superking size bed and a bathroom with bath and shower. The living room has a large comfy sofa and armchairs and a dining table that seats four. An electric hob and cooker, kettle, toaster and dishwasher are provided in the kitchen area, as well plenty of cooking utensils and a store cupboard of basic ingredients - perfect for self-catering.

Please note: There is no TV (but you can access the good wifi).

Guests have the whole of the cottage to themselves and are free to explore the large at their leisure.

There is plenty of car parking space and it is a very short walk from here to the private entrance of the cottage - but please note this is a grassy and, at times, uneven path so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Self check in and private entrance to the cottage mean there is no need to come into contact with anyone else at the property.

The space
The stables is a conversion of what was once an area to house the horses. It has been lovingly converted to create a modern ,comfortable,light and open plan living area.
It is all on the same level.

The living area has a three seater and two seater sofas with a smart flat screen T.V.

Kitchen/Dining .
The kitchen dining area is designed for sociability in mind. There is a large wooden table that comfortably seats 6 people for lazy lunches and evening suppers. There are double doors that lead out into the patio, BBQ area. The kitchen has all modern integrated appliances , that includes a dishwasher , fridge /freezer and a single door oven with an integrated 4 hob cooker top. There is an abundance of crockery for both the adults and children , and everything else that you need to prepare a family meal.
There is a welcome basket on your arrival, which is seasonal, but there is always milk, tea,coffee,hot chocolate and sugar available for you to have a cuppa after your long/ short journey to the stables.
There is also the essentials there for you to help start your holiday which includes cleaning products, some toilet paper, dish cloths and dishwashing liquid.

Bedroom 1.
This bedroom has a king size bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe space for hanging your clothes. We also provide Egyptian cotton sheets and towels.

Bedroom 2.
Bedroom two can be made up as two single beds or one large king size bed. The room is fitted with a chest of drawers and a freestanding wardrobe.

Bathroom.
The bathroom has a free standing bath and large shower.

Utility cupboard.
There is a washing machine, clothes horse, iron ,ironing board and items to keep the cottage clean and tidy.

Outdoor area.
From the kitchen there are french doors that lead out to your own secure patio area with comfortable outdoor seating and also a BBQ area. You have your own private access to park your vehicles or to securely keep your bikes. There is wi fi available , smart TV plus an assortment of games and books to keep the children entertained if you experience the odd rainy day. There is an abundance of local information for you to browse through to plan your time with us .
The cottage itself is situated on a arable farm that has stunning views of the countryside.

Cozy beamy cottage in a quite village, pretty garden, on Tunstall Common, very near Rendlesham forest, Snape music, Orford quay, Aldeburgh beach. Fantastic for walking, cycling, culture, food, lots to do with great country and coastal surroundings.

Downstairs
A small cozy sitting room full of beams and original stone floor, with two sofas, an electric wood burner for ambient light, TV and wifi. Opening into the kitchen with a table to sit everyone.
There is all you need to cook as well as a washing machine and microwave.

The bathroom is downstairs with a bath, shower head, basin and loo. Although guests have given all sorts of lovely suggestions of how to turn this into a shower with a curtain - and we in turn have tried really hard to do it - I am afraid it isn't possible so it is just a hand held shower head.

There is a small conservatory porch for you coats, boots and stuff.

Upstairs
Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with a kingsize bed, en suite loo and wardrobes.
Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom (2 singles that can be pushed together)

Outside
