Very well fitted out with some character pieces of kitchen furniture. A great space to cook and eat. There is a fold out table to seat 4 and appliances include electric oven/hob, large freestanding fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee bean grinder and coffee machine. No dishwasher. Coffee is taken seriously here – fresh beans are provided for you to grind and use in the machine to suit your exact taste!

Lounge
Just off the hallway the lounge has 2 sofas (1 is a 4ft sofa bed) and a comfy armchair. Solid floor throughout, non slip and easy to clean. Flat screen TV and bookcase with a selection of books and maps. Games too.

They are not too steep, have a handrail and are carpeted. Dogs are allowed upstairs but do ask if you would like a stairgate to stop them.

ALL ABOUT THE OUTSIDE:

A small area but well laid out. Parking for one car. There is also free parking on the road running through the village. Get a spot near to the end of the lane and you won't have very far to walk at all.

The area is paved and gravelled and well fenced all round with solid fence – 4ft+. There is a wooden table and chairs, a bbq (charcoal) and an outside shower for sandy paws or wetsuits. There are neighbouring properties but generally very quiet and the road is a dead end track so very little in the way of passing traffic or people.

We visited the Lighthouse Inn, Watsons and Hirst Farm Shop and cafe, all again very dog friendly, welcoming and helpful; its not easy going into places when you are alone but I soon found I was chatting to someone. Having a 10 month old standard schnauzer who tends to attract attention with his good looks (but then I would say that) does help. We really didn't want to come home. Can't wait to come again!!"

We allow up to two well behaved dogs but please don't let them upstairs or on the furniture. The garden is private and secluded, but estate railings divide the garden from next door and any small or inquisitive pooches could escape, so please supervise at all times.

Our local gastropub The White Hart is just across the road and serves excellent food and local ales, there are also two cafes and a takeaway.The local bakery provides fresh bread and delicious home made cakes and there is a greengrocer, butcher, chemist and local store, in fact, everything you could possibly need!

Every beam, floorboard (beautifully creaking every time you tried to sneak to the toilet in the night 😂) fireplace & accessory were gorgeous & all in keeping with the age of the property. The beds were so comfortable & all the bed linen & towels were lovely quality. We had 2 doggies with us which had a nice box of treats left & who both enjoyed the beautiful garden, which was totally secure & nice to sit with a glass of wine & enjoy the peace & quite - as well as having a lovely chat at the gate with Louise who funnily enough also had a glass of wine! The village was small but had everything you need really close by, the White Heart opposite did a great Sunday roast in the evening & The Hingham Fish & Chip was a minute walk & did one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Co Op was a 5 minute walk away & local shop 1 minute. Do give the Community Art Centre a visit, any profits support the local village which is lovely. We did the English Whisky Distillery tour which was so interesting & full of lovely staff who are so passionate about what they make - turned my mum off gin & on to whisky lol Also went to Horning & went on The Southern Comfort paddle boat for a 90 minute trip up the Broads which was £10 very well spent & a great lunch in The Swan. We had a wonderful trip & so enjoyed staying at Louise’s truly magical home. I can’t recommend Bank House highly enough, we all fell a little bit in love with the place & were very sad to go home. From the moment you arrive at Fisherman's Cottage you can begin to relax and unwind. You will be greeted by a welcome pack to get you started (and your dog too if you decide to bring your best friend along for a break).

The cottage was constructed in the early 19th century and has been fully renovated to an extremely high standard in 2016 to its present fabulous condition. There is one parking space outside the cottage . When you walk through the front door you will be greeted by solid oak floors and large lounge/ dinning room with an inglenook fireplace with a quality wood burning stove for the cold winter nights. The vaulted ceilings reveal beautiful wooden beams and velux roof lights add light into the property. The main heating and hot water to the property is controlled by a gas fired condensing boiler.

There is a fully equipped contemporary kitchen in keeping with the character of the property, fridge/freezer, separate built in fridge,washing machine, dish washer, solid wood worktops and a butler sink. To add to the experience you will find quality Le Creuset pans and Denby Crockery.

The main bedroom is exquisite, with a King-size Bed which boasts a quality mattress and luxury Egyptian Cotton Bed Linen to ensure a great nights sleep. At the other end of the cottage is another large bedroom with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, set out with twin metal framed feds with the same quality mattresses and bed linen. The bathroom features dimable ambient lighting and a large P-shaped bath equipped with a shower and enclosure.

Outside the property there are 2 seating areas to the front of the cottage where you can enjoy the south facing sunshine. There is also a hard standing area near the shed where you can light the BBQ. Please note there is no other garden area.

Mundesley benefits from a wide range of eating venues, and similarly a large selection of takeway foods to suit most tastes, The Royal Hotel, Ship Inn and the Manor Hotel all serve a fine selection of ales and good food, these all are within 10 minutes walking distance from the cottage, as is the quality beach which has glorious golden sand and during the summer season a life guard operated swimming area.

Mundesley is central to accessing the rest of North Norfolk and all that it has to offer from its many walks which will either take you along its dramatic coastline or inland to some beautiful undulating countryside giving visitors a chance to see Norfolk at its very best. North Norfolk is a haven for wildlife and bird watching with nationally proclaimed coastal unique wetland areas where wide and varied bird life can be observed. Mundelsey is an ideal centralised base for visiting these special places. Further round the coast approximately 8 miles away at Waxham you can share the beach with the seals; please treat these animals with respect especially during the calving season.

The popular seaside town of Cromer is 7 miles away and offers the opportunity to enjoy its nationally renowned Victorian Pier and other watersports including water boarding and surfing . Another must is a go at crab fishing from the pier (with an annual competition as part of Cromer carnival week). A little further along the cost is the small town of Sheringham where you will find the North Norfolk Railway, which takes you back in time to the good old days. Pond Cottage is one of 6 cottages within a large converted 1700s stable building set among beautiful scenery with ample farmland & woodland walks. Take advantage of the peace & quiet relaxing in our gardens, taking in the scenery. Or go exploring around our grounds, enjoy the duck pond & see the wonderful wildlife. Children will enjoy the games barn (open all year, wrap up in the winter) with a pool table, Air hockey. table tennis & toys to enjoy. There are swings & climbing frames around the grounds.
Located across the farm (a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk) at the north end is our outdoor heated swimming pool & Grass tennis court (open from May to the end of September). We operate a booking system for those that would like a private swim and there is also a free swim session where all guests can use the pool at the same time. On the opposite side of the farm there is our hard tennis court which is open all year round.
If you need more space for your family and friends, Swallows cottage can be booked alongside this cottage as they interconnect via the lounge doors.

- "Upon arrival Field Crest was presented well with all the equipment you needed for a weeks stay and a wonderful welcome pack. There were a few cobwebs and the bathroom extractor needed cleaning but nothing which affected our stay. The sofas could do with replacing and the wardrobe space is tight for two people staying for a week but we managed. Apart from the first two days listening to the neighbours dog barking constantly (which is totally out of field crest owners hands) we had a lovely peaceful stay. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach but be mindful the closest walk to beach is a steep sandy incline and decline which I found difficult but my husband didn’t as he is fitter than me. There are steps up and over the dunes to the beach but that’s a 15-20 minute walk down the road. Overall we would recommend Field Crest for a peaceful relaxing break. Just take a book or something to do as we all know the uk weather is unpredictable. It was very blustery!"

Stay in my home in a lovely comfortable bedroom with a sumptuous double bed. A stylish grade 2 listed railway cottage dating from 1850. I have a tranquil south facing sunny garden. Hot tub is available upon request to use during your stay. Boutique shower room. Spacious living room and dining space. Near to the Rail Station 7 minute walk and 15 minutes to the city centre.

Whitlingham Lane and Trowse are very near or equally you can walk along the riverside to into the city or out.

Delightful victorian bedroom, with a sumptuously comfortable French Corbeille bed in the cottage. The room has an extremely comfortable mattress and Egyptian cotton bedding, wonderful for a great nights sleep Individual in design, quiet and relaxing space.

The house is an old railway cottage and full of character the bedroom is in the eaves, so a few sloping ceilings.

Please note this is not for a hire of the whole house it is a room in my home.

You are free to help yourself to tea, tisanes and fresh coffee and use the kitchen if you wish to cook. You are also welcome to use the rest of the house and enjoy the garden. 5 person hot tub available on request at an additional charge at £7.50 pp (per use this is not available in winter ) payable on arrival, to relax at the end of the day. Please treat the house as your home as I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed during your stay here, but also be respectful that it is my home .

The property is over 170 years old and has not a steep staircase as in terraced properties but an older style staircase, steps are wide and floorboards that creak, the bathroom is sited downstairs.

There may be another guest staying at the same time and I live at the property.

There is an old friendly cat Rico who loves guests and sitting on laps.

The only other noise other than the trains that you may hear are city seagulls and birdsong.

We welcome up to two children or your furbaby to join you. You can bring one well behaved dog with direct booking but you must discuss an additional dog with us first.

The front door opens to the main living space with underfloor heating throughout, sporting cozy armchairs, a dining area and a woodburner. From here you can access the bathroom with shower and the compact kitchen leading to the enclosed private garden.

A steep and narrow period set of stairs leads up to the main bedroom with a double bed, and behind it, separated by a curtained entrance, is the second bedroom, which can either have one or two beds depending on the size of your family. For the really little ones we can place a cot in this room and will automatically add a baby gate. Please note that there are no doors on the upper floor and we would like dogs to stay downstairs during your stay. They can have their own bit of comfort in the relaxing dog bed which will be provided.

Guests have the run of the entire house during their stay.

We allow one dog on direct booking. Should you wish to bring another, please discuss this with us first. You will be charged per pet, but we regret that we cannot allow any other animals.

We will ask you to confirm that you have read and agreed to all house rules prior to your stay. Any breakages will be assessed on a case by case basis and may be charged to you.

Note that we DO NOT ALLOW THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS, as guests will not be covered by Airbnb insurance. If you want to book for friends and family, please contact us first.

Pet charge is £10 per dog per night. There is a maximum of two dogs and dogs must stay on the ground floor. You may not leave the dogs unattended in the cottage or the garden. Owners must be in control of their dog at all times. We do not allow banned breeds.

There is broadband WiFi available throughout the property.

There is a smart TV in the main living area, but you are welcome to bring your own devices.

Parking is on street throughout East Church Street and cannot be reserved. We do not permit the charging of electric cars without prior agreement for you to pay the excess electricity charges.

There is a right of way across the back of the cottage to 2 East Church Street. Guests have right of way across the side of the property to access the garden.

We ask you to please respect our neighbours’ property and be mindful of noise.

Please note there is a steep and narrow period staircase with rope handrail to the bedrooms on the first floor.

There is no door between the two bedrooms, just a curtain.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor.

The kitchen provides a combi oven/microwave/grill and a 2-ring ceramic hob.

The heating can be adjusted in each room, upstairs and downstairs. Please do not leave the heating on a high setting whilst you are out.

Washing line and pegs available.

We supply some logs and kindling which will be by the side of the wood burner. Should you need more, please purchase your own logs. The wood store by the side of the property belongs to our neighbour, and is not part of Poet’s Corner.

Any undisclosed guests or pets will result in immediate eviction.

Any breakages will be assessed on a case by case basis and may be charged to you.

By booking you show that you understand and agree to adhere to the house rules and that you agree to be liable for breakages that occur due to disregard of the house rules.

Guests can enjoy their stay at North Cottage with all the Comforts of home however, the doorways in and out of the cottage are a bit lower than the norm. So please beware!

Even tho it states the cottage has 6 beds it does only sleep 5 the main bedroom has a King size bed not a queen as stated by the US website and in the second bedroom there is a double and a single bed. There are NO sofa beds in the living room..

West Cottage is on a quiet village street in Lessingham, less than two miles from Norfolk's coast and five miles from the Broads. With off-street parking, a large garden, and views from both bedrooms to Happisburgh lighthouse, it's an idyllic spot for a tranquil holiday. Downstairs, a cosy sitting room with fireplace and dining area leads to a well-equipped kitchen, beyond which is a bathroom with over-bath shower. Upstairs, the large master bedroom has a king-sized bed, the smaller a 4ft bed.

The space
The cottage has been described by many guests as a home from home. This is because it's filled with interesting objects and homely touches, including colourful decor, comfortable furniture and, in the kitchen, all the amenities you'd expect to have in your home.

A note regarding COVID-19 and your safety at West Cottage
We all want to feel and be safe while travelling during the COVID-19 pandemic. To that end, I want to reassure my guests that our cleaning team are professionals who will use masks and PPE while they clean the cottage before your arrival. All surfaces and heavy-use items such as worktops, tables, welcome folders, remote controls, switches, sockets, cords, door/window/cupboard handles, thermostats, plugs & appliances will have been cleaned using anti-viral disinfectant. Liquid soap will be provided in both the bathroom and kitchen, and of course all linens will have been freshly laundered for you.

Kingfisher Cottage is a lovely barn conversion, sleeping four people, on a tranquil Norfolk farm. The cottage has a kitchen-diner, lounge, two bedrooms, bathroom and WC with french doors leading from kitchen and lounge onto the private garden.

Situated in the heart of Norfolk, North Farm is a great base to explore the Norfolk broads, North Norfolk Coast and city of Norwich - all a short drive away.

The space
The cottage has been converted to a very high standard. It has a well equipped kitchen-diner, sitting room with flat-screen TV, DVD player and wood-burning stove, double bedroom (with king-size bed), twin bedroom, bathroom and separate WC. Outside there is a private enclosed garden and the farm is situated in open country.

The cottage is located on the beautiful North Farm which is also home to a number of resident artists, including a stone-carver and potter.

To make travelling easier for families, a wide range of equipment from travel cots to ride-on tractors, bedguards to bumbos can be provided free of charge.

Guest access
Guests have full use of the cottage and the private garden. They are also welcome to explore the farm and meet the resident artists and/ or animals, depending on what they are interest in!

Kingfisher cottage can be rented along with Barn Owl cottage and The Shepherd's Hut to provide accommodation for up to 10 people.

The Log cabin is set in beautiful scenic surroundings, perfect for a relaxing break to unwind from everyday life, it’s also a great location for wildlife lovers.
Amenities near by are newsagents, post office, Indian and pub. (Roughly a 20 Minute walk or a 3 minute drive from the Waterhouse.)

The Waterhouse is a 15 minute drive to the Norfolk broads or Norwich city centre.

The space
The log cabin is private for your use only, with a decking area outside the bedroom patio doors with furniture.

Cottage set in 10 acres of parkland. Central to the Norfolk Broads , the coast and the city of Norwich is a 15 min drive away . Ideal for a couple (plus young child) or single person just wishing to get away. The cottage has a large living area with a sofa bed which is suitable for children. The local Indian restaurant and pub are both within walking distance.

You enter into the living area which is open plan to the kitchen. There is a door through to the bedroom and the bathroom is of the bedroom.
