- "We booked fairly last minute for a two-night stay. The room heater was on on arrival which was a nice touch as we’d just arrived by motorcycle on a rainy evening. There is a CAMRA-registered pub opposite and a great breakfast and dirty burger restaurant within a minute’s walk. Tesco express right round the corner. The room itself is a bit small, but has all you need for a short stay, and there’s a nice big car park for the building, too. Despite the nightlife on the doorstep, the neighbourhood and streets are pretty quiet - there were a few loud cars and motorcycles running through the streets at night, but nothing too disruptive. The building is in good condition. All in all, we enjoyed our stay."

My comfortable home offers an experience of village life. A beautiful and friendly village with an excellent social club, close to the broads and the city. A stones throw from Reedham riverside village with its well known pubs. Field views, quiet walks. Enjoy a drink in the courtyard or large garden.

My home is very minimalist. Kitchen and bathroom areas (downstairs) are shared with me and my toddler. The listing is for a private bedroom (upstairs) within our home. The living room is kept as a private space for me and my toddler only.

Guest access
Guests will have access to off road parking and both gardens. Inside, the kitchen, dining room and bathroom are shared with me, my toddler and our cat. Guests will have a double bedroom with comfortable bed and open field views.

We are a shoes-off household so I ask that this is respected during your stay. Note that the bathroom is downstairs only. The living room is a private space for me and my son only.

During your stay
I live here with my toddler, cat and chickens so I’m usually around in the daytime and evenings. I am happy to signpost to local attractions and make recommendations for local pubs, walks, etc or simply leave you to it!

I have been modernising my home and am still to decide on some light fittings, etc. No works will be completed during your stay.

In the heart of the Golden Triangle area of Norwich, just off the Unthank Road. Victorian House with garden and patio. Large sunny bedroom wih Sleigh bed. South facing with large bay window over viewing garden. Well decorated period features throughout house including bedroom. Choice of gastro pubs, cafes and shops, all just a few steps away. Bus stop (N25) for rail station and UEA is 25-50 metres away. City centre is 15 minutes walk.

The space
A Victorian House full of period features. The bedroom has a large sunny bay window with view of garden. The shower Room is only for you and is located on the ground floor your bedroom is on the first floor. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare their breakfast and dinner, not lunch time. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen in a partial open plan. There is a Coop 50 yards away. A Tesco Express a bit further. I work from home and the former living room is now my private office. Therefore, not a space I share with guests.

Cyclists can leave bicycle in yard. I have parking vouchers free of charge for street parking CPZ zone P. Zone P includes many other streets.

The bedroom is equipped with a comfy queen size bed with new mattress, set of drawers and wardrobe. There is also a hair-dryer to save you having to carry yours.

Bathroom with a shower which is located meters away from room is shared between us. I will provide towels and shower gel / shampoo.

There are no pets in here.

I will provide coffee, tea, milk and filtered water + microwave.

Public street parking (limited time) and parking lots (for about 5 pounds per day) available in city centre.
You have option to park a car for free. Controlled Hours for parking on Ber street and they are: Monday - Saturday 7.30am - 6.30pm and it costs 30p per 15 minutes. Maximum stay 1 hour, no return 2 hours.

Guests will have access to the whole house Except our bedrooms and living room unless you stay for a longer time. Please note that there is not a lock on the guest door however I will never enter the room during your stay unless there is an emergency or you request it for cleaning.

Please note that there are stairs in the house leading to second floor. The house is not suited to those with mobility problems.

We will most likely be in the house when you are so happy to have a chat and provide recommendations, maps and travel stories.

The space
This is the master bedroom in a flat located in the very center of Norwich city. The room is located on the street side, so you can expect some street noise, but it dies down in the evening.

Guest access
You will have full access to your bedroom, including all storage space in it. The toilet and bathroom are together, and this space is shared between you and other guests. You will have full access to the kitchen, so you can store your food in the fridge and cook your meals there.

Other things to note
We recommend you to use the shower in the evening to avoid wait time in the morning as that's the time when everyone wants to get out of the house quickly.

Comfortable double room with kitchenette facilities and exclusive use of adjacent wet room. Set within walking distance of the High Street with a Tesco store, pubs, chemist and a variety of small shops and cafes. Ideal base for exploring the Norfolk Broads (we are walking distance from Stalham Staithe). You are spoilt for choice with our nearby gorgeous sandy beaches only a few miles away such as Sea Palling or Horsey, famous for the seals. The fine city of Norwich is about 15 miles away.

The space
The room is quite separate from the rest of our accommodation, whilst being within our house, with sole use of adjacent wet room. Fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. Light breakfast provided including cereals, toast and selection of spreads, orange juice, tea and coffee. Large screen tv with Sky including Sky Sports, radio, heated towel rail. There is an additional oil filled radiator and blankets in the room for chilly nights.

This is a family home. We have 2 cats called Susie and Sid, plus 2 dogs called Sally and Charlie. They are at the back of the house where you have no access to.

There is no kitchen, but you do have a microwave in your room.

During your stay
We are available to answer questions and can recommend activities that we have taken part in and can vouch for.
You are given privacy when you are settled into your room and you can come and go when you like as there is a key box by the side of the front door. Please do not take the key away from the property.
I will provide my the key box code and my mobile number when you book with us.

Other things to note
There is a good bus service into the City, it takes around 8 minutes to get there. A taxi to the train station costs around £8.00. The University is approx 4 miles away.

Lovely new built. Bright double room with a guest bathroom next door. It’s a nice residential area, close to A47and A11. Close to hospital (NNUH), UEA and John Innes Centre. Clean comfortable room.
