Go back to the 1670s and enjoy this lovely old house deep in the middle of the countryside. Previously owned by the Earl of Winchilsea and the RH Guy Montague. Lots of character and charm. This large character house can sleep up to 16 people with a lovely farmhouse-style kitchen and large rooms for big groups to socialise. The house is set in a village with lots of lovely walks and woodland, parks, local pubs, and cafes.

The house is set in a pretty little village with 2 public houses both serving good food, lots of countryside trails to walk and a country park which allows dogs off leads to exercise and a children's play area for the little ones. Nearby is a larger town of Corbywhich offers a great swimming pool, cinema, shopping arcades, eating out, and nightclubs.

There's a train station in Corby and you can get a cab to the house from there. It's only 1-2 miles away. We have a lot of visitors from London which is only an hour away on the train.

As Weldon (near Corby) is very central we have a lot of people meeting up here from around the country as it's central to lots of places.

Business facilities are available if requested. Laptop, projector, screen, help on site for tea and coffee making facilities. Please enquire first.

Late check-out can be booked until 1.30 pm (£100) or until 8.30 pm (£200). Please let us know asap so we have time to re-organise cleaners and consider the next guests.
