The loft offers complete peace from the busy life that we all lead. The natural light creates an excellent space to relax, or work for those that would like to. It is recently renovated with comfortable furnishings and all the basics that you might need to be self contained.

The comfortable living space includes: a sofa, fold out dining table and chairs, DVD collection with player (please note the screen is not set up for live tv).

The kitchenette includes: fridge, microwave oven, kettle, and all crockery, cutlery and utensils you may need. Please note, there is NOT an oven/hobs, however the microwave oven includes features to allow the cooking of most basic meals.

The spacious bedroom includes: double bed with all bedding, bedside table with lamp, chairs and a beautiful view. An additional single mattress can be added on request.

The wet room includes: efficient shower, basin, mirror, toilet and towels.

The loft is separate from our main house, situated above the garage and so enjoys its own private entrance with parking on the quiet village road just outside.
The loft is accessed up a set of standard stairs, with space for coats and shoes at the entrance.

If you would like any the second bedroom made into a twin, please let us know prior to your arrival, as they are set as king-sized as standard.

You will be required to pay a £200 security deposit prior to your arrival, we will contact you to take your card details over the phone. These will be held on our secure banking application as a security deposit and your card will not be charged, but the hold means that you won’t be able to access these funds until the hold is released.

Isleham is a beautiful rural fenland village lying in the south-east corner of Cambridgeshire. The village has three pubs: The Rising Sun, The Griffin and the locally-renowned eatery, The Merry Monk, one of our favourite restaurants.

Isleham also has a small Co-Op supermarket for essentials, a part time post office, butchers and Chinese takeaway: all are within walking distance. Isleham is also home to the Riverside Island Marina, which is located on the River Lark.

Close by to 4 Daisy Drive is The Beeches Community Centre and Recreation ground which has an excellent play park with a good variety of play equipment to keep children of all ages amused. There are also football pitches and a multi-use games area.

Isleham is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Cathedral City of Ely (20 min. drive / 8 miles away), the historic horse racing town of Newmarket (20 min. drive / 6 miles away) and the gorgeous market town of Bury st Edmunds, the jewel in the crown of Suffolk (30 min. drive / 17 miles away). The perfect place to relax and unwind, enjoy a day fishing, or use as a base to explore the wider area. The historic city of Ely is nearby, boasting a majestic Cathedral which can be seen for miles, and beautiful walks along the riverfront.

Would have liked a few more days our booking was too short which is a measure of how much we enjoyed our stay. Honestly couldn't have expected anything better, and though I didn't make use of the lake for fishing, I could see plenty of activity on the lake at night with the carp surfacing to eat mayflies. Maybe next time. The hosts were very communicative and the gates into the property easy to work. When I return I hope to be able to stay here again. Thank you!!!"

Large sliding french doors from the living area lead outside to the huge enclosed garden perfect for al-fresco dining in fine weather, with the use of a gas BBQ it is the perfect space to enjoy time with friends and family.

The cottage also benefits from underfloor heating throughout and has a super log burner for those chilly winter evenings. And don’t forget the cinema room provides a great space for both adults and children complete with a comfy sofa and a selection of DVD's for all the family to enjoy.

We have a luxurious master bedrooms with super king-sized bed with its very own dressing room and en-suite with shower cubicle.

With two further private bedrooms, both with comfy super king-sized beds, which can be split to provide two single beds in each room for children. Please note that the fifth bedroom is a super comfy 'Loaf' double sofa bed.

All beds are zip and link so can be made up into four super-kings or 8 singles or a mixture of the two depending on your requirements.

The deluxe family bathroom features both a large bath and a walk-in shower. With the addition of the two en-suites, and an additional cloakroom in the utility there should not be any queues.

We provide super soft towels, on heated towel rails in all bathrooms, for all guests.

These will be held on our secure banking application as a security deposit and your card will not be charged, but the hold means that you won’t be able to access these funds until the hold is released.
