The cottage is within easy reach of several Blue Flag beaches, local shops, restaurants and wine bars. It is tucked away in an idyllic courtyard yet still close to all the amenities Broadstairs has to offer. The perfect bolthole for a wonderful holiday!

The cottage was built in 1640 & has the added attraction of ships timbers & beamed ceilings throughout & like the other Fishermen’s Cottages, as you enter you get the feeling of stepping back in time where the men made their living from fishing or smuggling.
This unique cottage offers 2 bedrooms, and can comfortably sleep 4 people.

The main bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a double bed.
You will also find a brand new fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and seating for 4 persons.

The lounge has faux leather sofas, a television with freeveiw and WI-FI is included.

The bathroom has a bath and shower which completes the accommodation.

Outside there is a courtyard garden with patio table and chairs. The garden is secure and child friendly, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the sunshine and have your breakfast or a glass of wine.

The ground floor consists of a fully stocked kitchen with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle as well as a dining area that seats 4 comfortably. The door in the kitchen leads to the garden and a patio area. Outdoor seat cushions and pads are also provided.

Across the entrance hall is the living room with 2 comfy sofas, flat screen TV, free unlimited WiFi as well as use of the SONOS sound system for playing radio and music controlled directly from the SONOS app on your android or iPhone.

At the top of the stairs to the right is the double bedroom with double bed, bedside tables and lights, small built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror, radio and hair dryer.

The Pathway is the road that leads up to the cottage and it is a one-way narrow road so is not suitable for large 4x4s or vans.

This little gem has just been fully refurbished. Built in around the 1860's, Smuggler's Cottage is set in a quiet and quaint little little courtyard called Church Square. It is surrounded by other lovely old flint fisherman's cottages that share the courtyard.
There is free ample parking only 2 minutes walk away on the Eastern Esplanade.

A lovely atmosphere has been created in this cottage with added beams through out . A light and airy atmosphere has been created with a sea-side theme.

It has two bedrooms and can comfortably sleep four people.

The cottage is approached from the square and up 2 steps to the front door which is on the first floor. You walk straight in to the lounge where there is a comfortable 3 seater sofa, and an armchair, a TV with Free view and a electric log burner for instant warmth and free WIFI is also included.

Spiral stairs lead down to the well-lit basement kitchen which is fully equipped for all your culinary needs and has a dining table which comfortably seat four people for dinner. In addition, the kitchen also has a washing machine and beautiful new fridge.

On the second floor you will find the second bedroom with two single beds and a new separate bathroom with a power shower, toilet and basin.

The main bedroom is on the third floor and has a luxurious double bed.

The house is a few minutes' walk from the sandy beach (The Sunday Times names "Stone Bay" as the best beach in Kent) to one side and a few minutes' walk from all the restaurants and bars to the other.

Broadstairs has a number of English Language Schools catering for individual and group learning.

The charming but spacious cottage has great character in the century-old design, wood-panelled dinning room and large secluded garden. There are 3 lovely double bedrooms, sleeping up to six, with the possibility of 2 additional cot beds. On the first floor you will find the two main bedrooms and the main bathroom (with bathtub and shower), and a separate toilet. The master bedroom to the front has wonderful sea views and the back bedroom looks over our lovely, secluded garden. Downstairs there is a dining room, a sitting room, a kitchen with an additional small dining area, a brand-new downstairs shower room and a second separate toilet. Bedroom number 3 can also be found on the ground floor, through our little 'sunroom' towards the back of the property. The sitting room has TV and DVD and there is free Wifi.

The house is situated in a lovely, tiered garden with mature shrubs and (fruit) trees, with swings, see-saw and lots of toys for children as well as books and DVDs for all ages. There is a lovely sun trap al-fresco dining area which completes the holiday feeling. We hope that you will appreciate the charm of our home as much as we do.

Bay Cottage is a beautiful 18th century cottage located in the heart of the historic seaside town of Broadstairs. The cottage has been lovingly renovated to a high specification but it still retains its original charm, character and features. - "Charming, attractive old cottage complete with wooden beams and floors, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Plenty of space for us as a family (though as others have mentioned, there is one bathroom rather than two). The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The location is very central and right next to the action - which is great in terms of being a minute from the beach, restaurants etc but did mean it was noisy at night, with it being a bank holiday weekend (some antisocial behaviour in the street plus loud music from the bars). Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay, had a great afternoon on the beach and several good meals, including the Jetty and takeaway seafood from Flotsam & Jetsam (just down from the cottage)."

This little gem has just been fully refurbished. Built in around the 1860's Pickwick's cottage is set in a quiet and quaint little little courtyard called Church Square. It is surrounded by other lovely old flint fisherman's cottages that share the courtyard.

A beautiful 18th century flint-built fisherman's cottage tucked away off Harbour street in an idyllic courtyard just a couple of minutes from the beach. The four story cottage has two bedrooms and can comfortably sleep four people.

Throughout the cottage there is an uncluttered quirky elegance with a mix of old and new furniture and some stylish local art. The white washed floorboards give a casual coastal appeal as you enter through the front door into the sitting room.
Steep colourful spiral stairs lead down to the well-lit basement kitchen which is fully equipped for all your culinary needs, It has an extendable kitchen table which comfortably seats four people. In addition to the hob and oven, the kitchen has a microwave and washing machine. There’s a stable door which opens from the kitchen to outside steps leading back up to the square where you can take the little table and chairs provided and sit and relax outdoors.
Up two flights of spiral stairs to the second floor leads to a lovely airy bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower, sink and toilet.
The final flight of spiral stairs brings you to a roomy and chic attic bedroom with two single beds and ensuite toilet and basin. Out of the little window you have calming distant sea views charmingly interrupted by intriguing old rooftops and chimney pots.

Clarendon Cottage is a few minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beaches of Broadstairs, and close to the town's pubs, restaurants and shops. Next to Broadstairs station, which is 80 minutes by rail from London's St Pancras Intl. Off street parking. Formerly known as Crampton's Cottage, but we now brought back the original name Clarendon Cottage.

The space
Clarendon Cottage is part of a terraced row built in the 1840s to house workers constructing the railway line that connects Broadstairs to Ramsgate and Margate. The line now links the beautiful Thanet coastline to London’s St Pancras International Station, just 80 minutes journey-time away.
The cottage is a couple of minutes walk from Broadstairs railway station, and five minutes walk from the pubs, restaurants and lovely sandy beaches at the heart of the town.
While small, the cottage has two double bedrooms, a spacious modern fitted kitchen, and a cosy living room with a sofa-bed.
There is room to park a car in the front yard, and further parking is available at the side of the house.
The cottage’s unique character is enhanced by a collection of the owner’s original expressionist artwork.

You are renting the whole house including a small enclosed back yard that is very useful if you want to store bikes etc as there is a private side entrance. -- Having said that our neighbour, Maggie, has the right to use this entrance when she needs to.

This is the very first Dickensian themed holiday cottage in the UK. This unique cottage is filled with furniture, memorabilia, books, games and artwork creating the ambience of the Victorian era.

Optional feature guests can dress up as an Oliver Twist character in the costumes provided. If you enjoy treasure hunts, there is one for adults and one for children to find Fagin's hidden stash.

All the furniture, decoration etc is all very authentic to the era with added photographs, maps and information connecting Charles Dickens to Broadstairs.

Please be aware this cottage is on four floors connected by a steep spiral staircase, so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

These toilets work on a saniflo system and they are very sensitive.

Wet wipes, cotton buds, tampons, nappies will block the toilet immediately and will cause flooding.

Built in 1910, Sea Song Cottage is a stylish, cosy, well appointed two bedroom holiday home. With a large private garden, it's suitable for up to 5 people and a baby. Located on a quiet, pretty street in the historic town of Broadstairs, it's just an 8 min walk to the station, 15 mins to the sandy beach of Viking Bay and pubs and restaurants are close by. A bright and calming space with room to relax, dine and enjoy, Sea Song Cottage is the perfect place to make happy seaside memories!

The space
Beautifully decorated, the open plan space has a lounge with a Skandi style sofa bed and dining room with a rustic table and seating for six. Leading onto the galley kitchen with Bosch oven, slimline touch ceramic hob, fridge freezer, washer/dryer and microwave.

The bathroom is downstairs, with underfloor heating and access to a gravel patio and large garden and bike store.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms, the master has a double bed, mirrored wardrobe, hair dryer, bedside storage and dressing table/desk. Bedroom two has a large set of bunks, an adult sized single bed, wardrobe, night lights and garden view.

Warm and cosy, there is double glazing throughout and an electric stove and blankets in the lounge for those winter months curled up on the sofa.

Fresh linens and towels are provided and for those with small children, there is a travel cot, bed guard, high chair, booster seat, black-out blind and kids kitchenware.

The house is an end of terrace with a side gate access for those with bicycles or buggies. You may store your bikes in the shed provided at the bottom of the garden.

If you come by car but plan to leave it at the cottage and walk to the beach, there is a shopping trolley provided so you can wheel your stuff to and from the beach, so no need to carry anything heavy. There are also many shops and cafes along the way.

If you want to go further afield on foot, hop on the Loop bus which takes you all around Thanet.

The Old Coach House has been carefully restored during 2012 and provides a perfect place to stay and enjoy all that Broadstairs has to offer.

The bijou retreat is just 125 meters from the main beach, and a stones throw away from restaurants, tea parlours and bars.

Ramsgate Royal Harbour is just 10 minutes away and the amazing Turner Art gallery a mere 15 minutes away.

The cinque port of Sandwich and the historical city of Canterbury are within easy reach and well worth a visit

The apartment has been beautifully restored and offers comfort and style a the perfect location. the kitchen is well equipped and the apartment has everything you would need for your stay.

Broadstairs is an unspoilt, charming seaside town with beautiful beaches, a Victorian promenade and individual shops. You can enjoy the main sands with Punch and Judy, traditional activities and a great atmosphere or you can escape to the quiet Bays with few visitors for a relaxing day. Stroll through the quaint town to explore the individual shops, enjoy afternoon tea or traditional fish and chips. There are numerous restaurants and bars to choose from and live music is frequently playing. Throughout the year a range of events take place to include The Big Broadstairs Weekend in May, Dickens Week in June, Folk Week and Water Gala in August and a very popular Food Festival in October. Free firework displays on the beach take place throughout the summer months. There really is something for everyone.

Bay Cottage is a beautiful 18th century cottage located in the heart of the of Broadstairs. The beach, shops and restaurants are only two minutes walk away.

We are happy to accept dogs but we ask guests not to allow them upstairs in the bedrooms.

An additional pet fee of £25.00 will be requested on booking.

The cottage has a large enclosed rear patio garden.

Free parking is available two minutes walk away on the Eastern Esplanade.

The space
The property offers a wealth of accommodation, including three bedrooms, two of which have king size beds and one with two single beds.

Additionally, there is a full bathroom on the first floor with a shower cubicle located in the bedroom on the top floor.

As you enter the cottage there is a beautifully presented, relaxing living room, with original wood beams and a lovely cosy open fire for the winter months. There is TV with free view for your entertainment as well as free WIFI.

From the living room you go through to a well equipped kitchen, which includes a dishwasher, microwave and a fridge freezer.

You can access a lovely private courtyard with a BBQ and outdoor furniture.

A short flight of spiral stairs to the first floor will lead you into bedrooms one and two, one has a king size bed and one with two single beds. On this floor there is also the bathroom, with a full size bath with shower attachment, sink and toilet.

Another spiral staircase will lead you to the third bedroom which has a king size bed and a shower cubicle.

Please note that the stairs are spiral are very steep so it may be unsuitable for people with mobility problems or young children.

Lavender Place is a wonderful Georgian cottage set over three floors. It has been sympathetically restored and boasts a fabulous mix of vintage and modern furnishings. The property is a stone's throw away from the popular sandy beaches in Broadstairs and within walking distance to the town's amenities. The cottage is also a great base from which to explore our beautiful Kent coast. Lavender Place has everything you need for a traditional seaside holiday.

The space
Lavender Place is an end of terrace cottage with a courtyard garden. It is situated in a No Through Road and has a dedicated parking space in front of the property.

The ground floor space consists of a lounge/dining room and a well equiped kitchen.

The lounge/dining room has a comfy Chesterfield 3-seater sofa and a Wingback chair. The dining table seats four and can be extended. The property has Wifi and a 25 inch TV. There are books and board games for rainy days and buckets and spades for sunny days.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a microwave, washing machine, Nespresso cofffee mchine and Dualit toaster and kettle. Manuals and instructions for all appliances can be found in the Welcome Folder at the cottage. The kitchen door opens onto the courtyard garden.

First Floor

There is a single bedroom and a double bedroom on the first floor.

Second Floor
The second double bedroom and the bathroom are on the top floor. The bathroom has a roll top bath and a walk-in shower.

Guest access
Guests have full access to all areas of the house except for the outhouse building in the garden. Both doors to the outhouse are locked with a padlock.

Other things to note
Please be aware that Lavender Place is a restored fisherman's cottage set over three floors. The two staircases are narrow and steep and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues or young children. There is also a step at the top of the first staircase which changes levels. This may be difficult for some guests to navigate. A bespoke rail has been installed to assist with this and I have included photos of this in the listing.

If the weather is cold, please use the thermostat in the lounge to control the temperature. There should be no need to change the controls on the boiler.

Good quality bedlinen and towels are provided for your use at the cottage but please bring your own towels for the beach. Thank You.

A peaceful, recently renovated, 2 double bedroom end of terrace cottage located in central Broadstairs with a courtyard garden.

On a quiet road hidden behind the high street with its shops, restaurants and bars. 2 minute walk to sandy Viking Bay.

Broadstairs train station is a 5 minute walk away with its high speed services. The regular loop bus service can take you to Ramsgate Harbour, Margate (Turner Museum) and Westwood.

Parking: There is no on-street parking. Drop off is fine and there is a carpark very close by and there is plentiful free parking a 5 minute walk away on Eastern Esplanade.

Public transport is good with the high speed trains to London and Canterbury and regular local bus services. In summer don't miss out on the open top bus that will take you to other local beaches and via Ramsgate Harbour to its boating pond.

Sanderling Cottage is a recently refurbished fisherman’s cottage located in the heart of Broadstairs, just one minutes walk to the beach, local restaurants and bars and 5 minutes from the train station.

Free parking is available on the seafront.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with a log burner and Smart TV, two bathrooms with roll-top bath and power shower, two bedrooms and a private courtyard.

Unfortunately, the property is not suitable for children under 3.

Named “Flintback Cottage” solely due to the fact that the rear of the cottage is made of flint, the property comprises three bedrooms, two of which feature comfortable double beds and one with two twin beds, providing ample sleeping space for all guests. There are also two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite, ensuring that everyone can get ready for the day in comfort.

The standout feature of Flintback Cottage is its delightful courtyard boutique garden. Enclosed by brick walls and featuring attractive potted plants and garden furniture, this outdoor space provides the perfect spot for relaxing with a book or enjoying an alfresco meal in the evening or maybe even a bbq.

Wonky cottage is a grade 2 listed flint cottage, tucked away in a small, quiet square 2 minutes from the beach. This newly-renovated gem is a stone’s throw from all the amenities of Viking Bay and Stone Bay. Central to the town so no need to drive anywhere. Super convenient for restaurants and shops.

3 bedroom Georgian holiday house in central Broadstairs. Walk 3 minutes to Viking Bay or Stone Bay, great restaurants and pubs, or stunning walks and views along the Viking Coastal trail to Ramsgate, Margate and beyond.

The space
The house dates back to the 19th Century but has been renovated and modernised with all you need.

There are three double / kingsize bedrooms with one pull out single:

1. Room one is on the first floor and has a double / king sized bed and is big enough to house a cot also. This is next to the bathroom.

2. Room two is smaller and on the second floor. It is still a nice size. This has a double bed in it.

3. Room three is also on the second floor and is the biggest. It has a king sized bed and a pull out, full sized, single bed. A cot could also be accommodated, although it would be a full room.

There is one bathroom but an additional loo.
The house also has a terraced garden with an outdoor shower.

Please note there are a few staircases in the house as it has 4 floors - NB the one up to the second floor at the top of the house is quite steep.

There will be a code sent to guests, prior to arrival, for access via the back gate; keys will be within a key safe - the code for this will also be sent in advance.
All other helpful details can be found in a manual within the house.

Check-in is 3.30pm on day of arrival. Checkout is 10.30am on day of departure.

Prices are higher during Dickens Week, Folk Week and on Bank Holidays / Festival periods (Easter, Christmas). There is also a slight increase for Friday and Saturday bookings.
