Characterful Victorian 3 bed, 2 bath semi detached cottage in the town of Hunstanton, Norfolk. Although very close to all amenities the cottage is in a peaceful part of the town. There is on road parking and a car park opposite the property, which has electric charging points at an extra cost. The property has been sympathetically renovated to maintain some lovely original features, but with a modern twist, with FREE WIFI.

There is a lounge, separate dining room, leading through to a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, double oven and separate fridge freezer. There is a highchair, travel cot (bed linen not included) and stair gate available for families with younger children. The bedrooms are situated over 2 floors, a king with ensuite, twin with separate bathroom on the 1st floor. The 3rd bedroom is also a king with a partial sea view (Bed linen and towels included). We just ask that you bring beach towels as these are not included.

There is a small garden to the front of the property. The rear of the property has a yard with dining table and chairs. Meadow View is a well equipped and tastefully furnished 'home from home' set in the lovely village of Sedgeford. It has three bedrooms: a master with King sized bed, a twin room and a bunk bed room. The sitting room has a wood burner, perfect for cosy evenings and the dinning room is light and airy. The timber deck has picturesque views over the valley and overlooks the large lawn and pretty meadow (with it's own winding path for children to discover). There is ample parking on the driveway.
The cottage is well located to use as a base for exploring the Norfolk countryside or a perfect get away to relax and unwind.

The rear of the property has a yard with dining table and chairs for 6 people. There is a warm outdoor tap with shower hose for washing down your pets and or children from a sandy day at the beach.

It also has an outside store that could be used to store equipment such as bicycles. There is a range of beach equipment for your use. The property is just a 150 metres to Hunstanton beach and a 15 minute walk to Old Hunstanton beach, with its sweeping golden sands and amazing sunsets.

The town of Hunstanton is a Victorian seaside town which has many restaurants from take away fish and chips to a well renowned Michelin star restaurant. Booking is advisable to avoid disappointment but some pubs and restaurants will still do their best to accommodate walk ins.

There are many activities for all ages come rain or shine including water sports, fairground, swimming pool with flumes, theatre, golf, Sealife centre, leisure facilities, art/craft centres, cycling .

Hunstanton is a great base to explore North Norfolk with easy access to Sandringham, RSPB sites, Old Hunstanton, Holme next to the sea, Thornham, Tichwell Holkham, Brancaster, Burnham Market all being a good walk, short drive or bus route away.

A little deer lives in the trees on the other side of our back fence. The allotments also neighbour a newly renovated children’s play park, a one minute walk away.

But it’s still a lovely cottage & in a great location .

Arden cottage is a charming 18th century Norfolk brick and flint cottage, situated in the heart of Thornham village on the North Norfolk coast. The cottage is cosy, with a lovely enclosed courtyard. In close proximity to beaches, nature reserves and a selection of pubs, the property is perfect for a couple or family looking for a comfortable stay.

The space
The ground floor offers a compact kitchen with basic facilities including a microwave, toaster & large air fryer. Please note there is currently no oven or hob.

The comfortable lounge offers the perfect place to wind down after a day exploring, with large smart TV & WIFI.

There is a dining table to seat 4.

The staircase to the first floor is steep and open, so it is recommended children are supervised and not suitable for the less able.

The two bedrooms have comfortable double beds and share a shower-only bathroom.

A baby bath can be provided.

Little Barn - a converted barn in Ringstead, an attractive village three miles from Hunstanton and the North Norfolk coast, ideal for family days out on the beach and great water sports. Sandringham and other historic houses are close by as are RSPB Titchwell and Snettisham. The village has a great local shop and the Gin Trap, our village pub is within a short walk - a must for gin and foodie lovers alike. The village is on the Peddars Way - a walkers paradise.

The space
Little Barn is a gem of property. It is a renovated cow barn with an open plan kitchen/living room, in a bright contemporary style. Upstairs, there is a good sized double bedroom and a single room. The bathroom has a walk in shower and plenty of hot water.

You have your own private terrace where you can sit in the morning sunshine and enjoy breakfast outside or a G & T in the evening.

Guest access
You can access our garden and use the BBQ terrace from time to time. There is off-road parking for one car. A second car has to be parked on the road by our barn.

Other things to note
Poppy our chocolate labrador is very friendly and likes to say hello to everyone. We also have a cocker spaniel called Nala.

On the ground floor the living environment boasts a generous sitting room hosts ample comfortable seating set around an electic log burner, plus a Smart television. A second seating area provides a quiet place to read and relax. The well-equipped spacious contemporary kitchen forms the central hub of the house. Plenty of facilities have been provided, including electric oven and hob, fridge/ freezer, and Nespresso coffee machine. A sit up breakfast bar makes the ideal spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The accompanying dining area offers an extendable table with seating for six guests in front of garden views. On warm summer days, slide open the doors to invite the outside in, or gather together to reflect on your adventures in the adjoining conservatory. A separate utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer, and leads to to a convenient ground floor shower room featuring a decadent walk-in rainfall shower.

Upstairs, two inviting first floor bedrooms boast supremely comfortable beds with feather bedding dressed in luxurious fine white linens. Curated with muted colour palettes, guests in these rooms will be lulled into a sumptuous deep sleep. The master bedroom hosts a king-size bed, with twin beds provided in the gentle cornflower blue second bedroom. Both bedrooms are served by a stylish family bathroom featuring bath with shower over.

As a detached property, Miramare Cottage is able to provide ample space and privacy to the front and to the rear of the house. The enclosed rear courtyard garden is a delightful sun trap. Charming outdoor seating, with an accompanying charcoal barbecue, beckons you dine al fresco. There is even a hose on the outdoor tap to rinse off sandy dogs and boots. To the front, the gravel parking area provides parking for four cars.
