- "We stayed here with our two young kids for a summer walking holiday. The chalet is reasonable new. It has a nice garden with two tables and sun loungers. The bedrooms are comfortable. Most rooms have shutters. The bathrooms are nice with two showers and a bath. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of pots, pans and tools. It was being at home. It was very clean and tidy. The owner made us feel very welcome and was very friendly and responsive on email. The location was okay. It's in a quiet area about 20 minutes walk up a steep hill from the town centre. There aren't really any shops or restaurants nearby that we found but having a young family and being mainly focused on the walking trips (which were always a drive away from Briancon) we didn't really mind. The only two negatives are that 1. bedding and towels aren't normally provided. We had to push quite hard (numerous worried emails from me) to get them provided for our trip (we were flying from the UK). I can't remember ever having to bring my own bedding before and certainly not at the price of the chalet. 2. The cleaning fee was €80 which seems a lot. This isn’t clearly displayed on the site. For that price, we cleaned the chalet ourselves and it took 3 hours. It would have been nice if this had been something more reasonable. Overall. I would be happy to come again for a summer walking holiday (assuming bedding was provides again)."

Parking for two cars on the drive plus free on-street parking. It is possible to charge electric cars for 80€ per week per car.

5 ensuite bedrooms (one with a bath) all have king size zip and link beds that can be split into 2 singles, so the chalet can be arranged to suit all group types up to 10 people, including children.

The chalet is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay including english and french TV, netflix, wifi, dish washer, washing machine and tumble dryer, outside bike/kayak wash area, a large entrance way / storage area and secure ski/ boot room.

The property has a garage dedicated for guest use - perfect for storing bikes and kayaks. It is well equipped with bike repair tools and a bike mechanic (me).

We completely renovated our accommodation in 2018 and put our heart into it, to recreate a modern chalet atmosphere. The large living room of around 45m2 is particularly pleasant for enjoying a good meal or resting, the spacious and quiet bedrooms. From the garden and the terrace, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and the intense sunshine of the region.

You have access to the parking lot in front of the house and our accommodation is on the ground floor. You also have access to the terrace and the garden.

This is the cottage we live in year-round with our children.
It consists, downstairs, of a large living room (kitchen and living room), very bright and open to the outside.
The bedrooms are upstairs: the master bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with a double bed, a last bedroom with a crib (175x110), possibility of adding a mattress on the floor.
The bathroom and net for siesta or reading are also upstairs.
Accessible garage to store bikes.
There is a garden behind the house with a barbecue, as well as a garden in front of the house.
We do not have a TV and we do not leave our personal computer, so you will need to be self-contained for screens.

Come and spend a great holiday in the mountains in this beautiful chalet. Located in the heart of the Briançon Valley, the location is ideal for lovers of winter sports (5 minutes from the ski slopes) but also summer activities.

The chalet is 5 minutes from the slopes of Serre Chevalier and the Vauban fortress. You will find in 2 minutes the commercial area with the Casino supermarket.
The baths of Monêtier are 15 minutes away.

The space
You will find on the ground floor a shower room as well as a toilet, the fully equipped kitchen and finally a large living/dining room with access to the garden and the terrace. Upstairs you will find the bathroom as well as a separate toilet and the 4 bedrooms (3 large and one small) all equipped with a queen size bed, and new bedding (mattress, box springs). The garage is unfortunately not accessible at the moment (work in progress) you can however park 2 cars along it taking care not to block the neighbor's access.

Bed linen policy: Linens and towels are only provided for week + stays. For short stays, provide linens for queen size beds.

Winter adventures
In winter, set off directly from the chalet on snowshoes or cross-country skis. You can ski back to the chalet on a green slope.
So that all you can think about is relaxing and enjoying your holiday, a private snow-clearing service will come every morning to clear the snow from the car park. For added convenience, we offer a shuttle service for 8 people to the slopes (contact us for prices). Renting the chalet gives you access to special conditions with many of our partners (20% discount on your ski hire, brasserie, restaurants, .....).

Summer sport

In summer, mountain bikers and hikers will be delighted by our privileged location.
Lovers of idleness will be able to stretch out peacefully on the terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the Grand Aréa and the valley.

Bedsheets and towels are available for rent at an extra cost of 14 euros per person - whatever the length of the stay.
The charging package for electric vehicles is 50 euros for the duration of the stay. If consumption exceeds this amount, an extra cost will be charged at the end of the stay.
