- "We stayed here with our two young kids for a summer walking holiday. The chalet is reasonable new. It has a nice garden with two tables and sun loungers. The bedrooms are comfortable. Most rooms have shutters. The bathrooms are nice with two showers and a bath. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of pots, pans and tools. It was being at home. It was very clean and tidy. The owner made us feel very welcome and was very friendly and responsive on email. The location was okay. It's in a quiet area about 20 minutes walk up a steep hill from the town centre. There aren't really any shops or restaurants nearby that we found but having a young family and being mainly focused on the walking trips (which were always a drive away from Briancon) we didn't really mind. The only two negatives are that 1. bedding and towels aren't normally provided. We had to push quite hard (numerous worried emails from me) to get them provided for our trip (we were flying from the UK). I can't remember ever having to bring my own bedding before and certainly not at the price of the chalet. 2. The cleaning fee was €80 which seems a lot. This isn’t clearly displayed on the site. For that price, we cleaned the chalet ourselves and it took 3 hours. It would have been nice if this had been something more reasonable. Overall. I would be happy to come again for a summer walking holiday (assuming bedding was provides again)."

The chalet is located 3km away from the medieval city Briancon and its ski lifts (ski lift Prorel and Chantemerle are both 3.5km away). It is possible for good and average skiers to ski back down to the chalet depending on snow conditions.
