In the heart of the beautiful region of Risoul, the chalet, entirely built in wood, offers a warm mountain atmosphere, with its paneled rooms fully decorated with taste (3-star cottage for 4 people). 2018 by the Ministry of Tourism)

Dominant throughout the resort, it offers an exceptional view and a garden surrounding the snowfields to the ski slopes below.

Outside of traffic, in an area with 10 identical cabins, children can play in the snow or toboggan safely (the chalet is the second line of the nearby ski run).
You will be able to have lunch on the sunny terrace admiring the mountains and the summits of 3000 meters high Parpaillon and Haute Ubaye.
Due to the absence of light pollution, the location of the cottage is conducive to the observation of the beautiful starry sky of the Southern Alps.

The facilities are nearby, with a bread and a supermarket within 100 m and the center of the resort, with all the entertainment is within 500 m walk (shops, distributors, bars, restaurants, cinemas, ice rink and disco ).

The location of the chalet allows you to put skis on the terrace and come back to ski. The snow front, with its ski lifts and ski school, is a 2-minute walk away by a short green run and the return of the ski area is via a blue run or a green run (easy).

The rental concerns the right half of the house (the cottages are divided into 2 apartments of 40 m2 totally independent) which consist, on the ground floor, of a living room with sofa bed 2 places, a kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms each with two single beds can be combined to form a double bed.

The NON SMOKING chalet is fully equipped for 6 people. It has 2 flat-screen TVs, a DVD player, a stereo and a radio in the bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine. A raclette and a pancake machine will give you a good evening after a long day of skiing.

A rack to secure the skis is available on the terrace and two chairs to enjoy moments of well-deserved rest in the sun.

Everything was straightforward including all communication with Christian, the owner, and Stephanie, who organises the keys. The chalet itself was very well-equipped and cosy. - "what you see is what you get. tres bien" - "The chalet was fully equiped with proper furniture and up to date kitchen equipment. A nice pellet heater and floor heating making this chalet a very cosy place to stay. It's a small walk to the busstop to get to the skislopes of Risoul which arrives regularly. The to the house is a bit slippery in cold conditions so snowchains are recommended. The contact with the owners was excellent, the contact with the housekeeper is a bit hard because of the language difference but all worked out well. If you are with small children I can recommend this chalet because it includes a child bed, child seat and even has toys laying ready for use, the only downside is the the power outlets are not covered for very small children to stay safe. The nearest supermarket is within a 5 minute drive and all other conveniences are located in the area. All but all I definitely recommend this chalet for skiing in the Risoul/ Vars area"

This recent cabin is spacious, furnished and decorated in mountain style, fully equipped (appliances, 50 in HD TV, WiFi). The large living room, opening on the terrace and the panoramic view, invites to conviviality and cheerful moments. Upstairs, another lounge will host your movie or game sessions. The 3 large rooms upstairs (double beds, in one room the double bed can split into 2 simple beds) each have a balcony and a large closet. In winter, Risoul-Vars ski resort is at a 15' drive (a free shuttle stops in the village during ski season, too) and Ceillac (cross-country skiing, snowshoe) at 25'.
In summer, options are illimited, in Queyras regional park or Les Ecrins national park : hiking, VTT, biking, climbing, rafting, paragliding. Serre-Ponçon lake, a 25' drive, offers a large array of nautical activities : kite-surfing, sailing, paddle, or simply sunbathing on the beach !

In the 10 cottages, neither too low nor too high!
The access to the chalet is over 70 meters by a path that, exceptionally, can be a bit tricky to climb, especially just after a big snowfall (it will be all the more beautiful the day after waking ;-)) . In this case, access is easier through the ski slope (blue) which is usually damned.
