The 5-9 twlight admission was only $59 rather than $119.00 Five minutes to gas station, ice cream, gift shops and fabulous pizza. Very clean and super comfy. Good communication with owners. Cant say enough...price is also a bargain. So very thankful to have found this place."

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you may need, that's if you get sick of eating at all the delicious restaurants in the area, Double Musky, Jack Sprat, and Chair 5, just to name a few of our favorites. This is the perfect home away from home for all your Girdwood adventures. After a long day of skiing, hiking, mountain biking, or fishing, come relax next to the fire place, or take a dip in the new hot tub! We are on a large corner lot, easy to find, yet secluded. Peek-a-boo mountain views from all the front windows allow you to check out the mountain conditions. The chalet is roughly .5 miles from the resort. Its up hill on the way to the resort, so skiing home would be a breeze. Just a short drive brings you to the impressive cross country skiing trail system, in case downhill just isn't your thing. Alyeska has recently opened up an extensive mountain biking trail system for you summer adventurers. There are ample hiking trails in the area, including Winner Creek, a favorite of mine. Girdwood is a great middle ground to explore towns south of Anchorage as well! A short 25 miles south is the town of Whittier, highly recommended for fishing or a sight seeing tour of Prince William Sound, which offers an abundance of marine life in the summer months. Orcas, Humpbacks, otters, and birds to name a few. Keep driving south and you'll find yourself in Seward, Kenai, Soldotna, and Homer.

Renters that clean the vacation rental live in the mother-in-law unit on the ground floor. Any communication with cleaners can be run through me. The mother-in-law has a separate entrance and no access to the main house. Please allow room for the first floor apartment folks to get out of the driveway. The garage and a pantry on the third floor remain locked for my storage.

Girdwood is a fantastic Alaskan experience. Girdwood brewing is a 7 minute walk, (3 if you cut through the meadow!) Alyeska resort of course provides the best of Alaska resort skiing and also backcountry/heli-skiing adventures nearby. Winner creek is a great hiking trail in the summer. If you don't mind some vertical elevation, the North Face Trail is open in the summer and rewards you with great views of the turnagain arm mountains. You can still get to these views by taking the tram to the top!

Please be advised that there are multiple flights of stairs in the building that may require additional assistance for guests who may need it.

This is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath,

Our chalet has every thing you need. The down stairs is the TV room with two spacious sofa sleepers, laundry room, second bathroom and work space. The second floor is the main entrance with a full kitchen, living room, main bathroom and beautiful sunroom that can be utilized in the summer. The third floor has two bedrooms, one over looking the back yard and the second bedroom overlooks the front yard and has a private balcony. Enjoy during the winter or the summer months. Time on the mountain is enjoyed year-round. Winter skiing is everywhere. Come play on amazing Nordic ski trails or breathtaking mountain slopes.
To avoid any surprises, please be aware of your surroundings outside. You may see wild animals. We have security cameras on the exterior of the chalet.

This 600 sqft house is an excellent option for anyone looking for a getaway with beautiful mountain views on a very quiet street. Enjoy a babbling creek running through permanent green space on the south property line, providing natural privacy.

The space
- First floor has kitchen, full bathroom, and dining area. Second floor bedroom. Great deck and 2nd floor balcony.
- Completely remodeled in 2014: new electrical, plumbing, kitchen, bathroom, tile flooring, carpet, paint, and porch.
- Major kitchen appliances (gas range/oven and fridge) replaced with new stainless appliances in 2016.

Other things to note
Comfortable accommodations for two with a max four guests welcome. Our four small children share the cabin with us (they enjoy each other’s company).
We do not have WiFi, cell service is adequate for most providers - we have a Bluetooth speaker for entertainment (we suggest tuning into glacier city radio).

A-frame cabin with open floor layout (no private bedrooms) near the base of Alyeska Ski Resort. The house is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of many Girdwood attractions. Easy access to hiking trails, the ski resort, many nearby restaurants, and the Girdwood Brewing Company. Pets allowed on approval. There is no Wi-Fi on the property, but there is cell coverage.

The space
Open floor layout (no separate bedrooms). Living room and kitchen downstairs. Full sized murphy bed is also on the main floor. Upstairs has a full sized futon and a king sized bed. There is also a full sized air mattress available on site and there is space for it by the main bed upstairs.

Cozy set-up. I like it because I don't feel it is too big when I go up solo or with my partner. However, it is also big enough that I have been able to host overnight stays with a group if we are all close and are okay that the sleeping quarters will get pretty tight. Around 900 sq ft total interior livable space.

Other things to note
There is a coffee and espresso machine in the kitchen. I have a pack n' play so that you do not need to bring one from home (located behind the upstairs futon). There are mattress pads on site that you can use for the futon or air mattress if they are not comfortable enough for you. There is also a dog bed in the cabin so you do not need to bring your own. There is no Wi-Fi on the property, but there is cell coverage.

This 2 bedroom 1 bath chalet is the perfect getaway for a ski vacation or summer Girdwood experience. The chalet has its own private entry, kitchen, sunken living room, and jacuzzi bath. This house is shared with a mother in law apt in the back, which the owners, Molly and Dan, live in. We are Girdwood locals who are excited to share what our town has to offer.

The space
The Alpine Chalet has a rustic cabin feel and is loaded with local art to give you a true Alaskan getaway. You can cozy up to the gas fireplace and enjoy your time inside, or take a short walk/drive to experience the surrounding area.

This house has two sides that are connected by a laundry room in the middle.
The only shared areas are the laundry room and front deck.

The Chalet also includes:
Kitchen appliances, dishes, and coffee maker for home-cooked meals.
TV/DVD player with an array of DVDs.
Boardgames, puzzles, and Alaska books to entertain.
Brochures for all the activities around Girdwood, and menus for all the best local restaurants.

Guest access
The front of house is fully for your use. Shared porch and laundry room with hosts in mother in law apt on back side.

Other things to note
The stairs inside do not have a railing on one side, and we encourage guests with kids, the elderly, or the handicapped to take a look at the photos to make sure you are comfortable with them.

The gravel driveway is steep. In the winter you can drive up to the top to unload if you have 4 wheel drive & are good at backing down. We do our best to maintain but it can be icy so we recommend good shoes and ice cleats.
The bathroom is downstairs, the bedroom is upstairs.

We have a no pet policy, and if violated, charge a $100 pet fee.

The space
There are 3-floors in this house:

The Entry Level is a spacious "game-room" with a large HD smart TV, pool table, electric fire place, large sofa with 3-recliners & half bathroom. There is plenty of closet space to hang your gear after a day outdoors. We also provide a various selection of DVD movies & streaming TV.

The 2nd floor has 2-bedrooms (each with a Queen Bed). There is 1-Full Bathroom with tub. The Great Room includes expansive windows, an HD smart TV, full kitchen, dining area, and access to a large deck with fantastic mountain views & outdoor BBQ grill. The Kitchen is fully equipped to support home-made meals and seating for 8-people. There is also a laundry area with washer, dryer & supplies for your use.

The 3rd Floor is where you find the Master Suite with your private, Full Bathroom, walk-in dual-shower, walk-in closet, desk, TV, & King Bed.

All guests must be registered (i.e. names provided) and please include the total number of guests when booking. Any additional visitors / guests must be pre-approved by Josh or Jen. Exceeding the agreed upon guest reservation is cause for cancellation, removal, and $150/guest/night.

Airbnb Terms of Service:

Safety Notes:
- The driveway can get icy in the winter. Gravel is used, but can still become very slippery when ice and/or snow is present.
- We have a metal roof. Snow can slide from the roof without notice, possibly causing injury or death if standing below.

- This home has 2-sets of stairs. If you have young ones, please plan accordingly.

This classic A-Frame Chalet was built in the early days of the Alyeska Ski Resort and sits in the established neighborhoods outside of Girdwood's community center. It features the original wood interior accents, with limited modern updates such as the gas heating stove and private hot tub. It preserves the tradition of the early days of the ski town with its natural landscaping, huge windows, and an open concept floor plan that creates a spacious but cozy atmosphere. Only 35 miles south of Anchorage is the Girdwood valley home to Alyeska Ski Resort. Our fully furnished private log home is nestled in the lush greenery of the rainforest, the quiet will relax your soul. Our cabin is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families.

Our chalet is located in a treed quiet lot with peek through views of the mountains. The peacefulness of the surroundings are relaxing. The large deck with outside chairs and hot tub bring allow for everyone to have their own space. The great room has two different seating areas and coffee table for games.

You will have the entire chalet at your disposal. We do not allow parties or events at our home. And we ask that there be no smoking of any kind on our property.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with spices, baking needs, coffee, tea, cocoa, and other essentials. If you have a special need, such as a crab boil pot, I will try to provide it.

This recently, updated chalet has an inviting open floor plan and a homey feel. You will walk into the spacious entry way providing space for your gear and a brand new washer and dryer. Walking into the home you will find the fully equipped kitchen including several spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and local coffee beans. We have stainless steel appliances and updated flatware, glassware, plateware, and pots and pans.

A hand crafted kitchen table sits adjacent to the kitchen providing a space perfect for a family style meal or games. The large, L shaped sectional with several pillows and blankets is extremely inviting and will make you feel at home. You'll find another hand crafted piece of furniture in an eye catching bar with comfortable bar stools to sit around sipping local brews. A 55 in TV sits adjacent to the couch & bar area which is compatible with a variety of services including Apple TV, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Disney + through your personal account logins.

A newly updated, full size bathroom with a large shower sits downstairs which uniquely connects to the bonus room where you will find a comfortable twin bed, perfect for the last minute extra guest or child.

Winding upstairs you will find the two bedrooms, both furnished with Casper queen sized beds, complete with comfortable bedding. Both bedrooms have in floor heat and modern ceiling fans to accommodate your individual comfort needs. The hallway has a desk, office chair, and computer monitor, perfect for your remote office.

The second updated bathroom is a 3/4 bath which sits in between the two bedrooms.

You will find this set up to meet your needs and then some as you settle in and make it your own for your stay.

Please help yourself to the soft towels, linens, use of toiletries and laundry detergent. A yoga mat is also provided.

There is a large deck with a small table and chairs to sip coffee or a cocktail while enjoying gorgeous mountain views.

The space
The upstairs unit features three bedrooms - two queen-sized beds and one double bed. The loft is the only room on the third floor and is equipped with a mini refrigerator/freezer, microwave, closet and dresser space, nightstands and floor lamp, and TV with streaming capabilities. Basic amenities are provided to make your stay comfortable and convenient. There are two small rooms on the main level, one with a queen-sized bed and one with a double bed. The open floor plan makes it easy to entertain, and visit with your group while cooking and lounging. The unit has a full kitchen and small full bathroom. The most appealing feature is its great location, within walking distance of almost everything, and with the free shuttle, it couldn't be more convenient! The loft bedroom has a nice mountain view and huge living room windows. Both units have a living room with a TV, so you can access your streaming apps and watch movies or enjoy other app entertainment that you may have.

Self-check in with a keypad, so late check-in is not a problem. You'll be given the code a few days before your arrival. The unit is on the second and third levels of the property.

Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. We offer early check-in and late check-out options if it's available, a couple of days before your arrival/departure for a fee of $50.

Host Kelli is a co-owner of a large tour company with over 20 shore excursions throughout Alaska, mostly in the Southeast. She offers a 10% discount on all tours offered by Alaska Travel Adventures to her vacation rental guests. Unfortunately, Alaska Travel Adventures doesn’t currently offer any day tours in the area. This is a cool place with some historical references. In 1998, Kelli bought the place to live in and considered painting over the Alaska-themed mural. Still, some of the Girdwood residents lobbied against it, including the librarian who stated that it was her dog painted on the property. She never painted over the mural, and now it seems appropriate to keep it that way. The cabin was built in 1964 and it was raised in 1978 when a concrete slab was poured and a block foundation installed creating a gift shop where tour buses would bring people on their way to and from the sites. Later the lower level housed "the bike shop". When the bike shop outgrew the space, it was converted to a two-bedroom dwelling unit.

Located in beautiful Girdwood Alaska. Come enjoy our home and rustic Alaskan cabin. This is the 2nd and 3rd floors of our lovely 3 story Chalet home. The space
This is a 3 bedroom space located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of our 3 story home.
The main level (2nd floor) has a beautiful great room with full kitchen, dining and living room all in one. There are large two-story windows looking directly at our majestic ski mountain and 4 magnificent glaciers (Best view in Girdwood!!). There are two bedrooms on this level. The 1st bedroom has a hanging twin bed, and a 2nd twin mattress. The 2nd bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed. There is a full bathroom with a tub on this level.
The 3rd floor is exclusively the Master suite with a loft office/relaxing reading nook overlooking the main level.
The Master suite has a wonderful King bed and single pull out bed. There is also a full master bath and tub.
All of the bedrooms have blackout shades.
You have shared access to the laundry room.
The first floor is a separate one bedroom apartment that is also available to rent on Airbnb listed as Perfect Apartment.
Next to the main house is a totally separate Alaskan log cabin/bunk house that sleeps 4 and can be rented when it’s available.
In the cabin there is a king loft bed with ladder access and a double pull out couch. It’s an authentic Alaskan experience.
There is a small private hot tub in the deck of the cabin available to everyone.
This is a dry cabin, so there is no bathroom or running water inside. You will use the facilities in the main house which is only a few steps away.
You can also rent the entire home including the apartment and log cabin on AirBnB listed as Wendy’s Girdwood Getaway.
There is a big yard for kids to run and play, an outdoor fire pit if you would like to roast marshmallows, my (favorite kind of camping).
This beautiful property is nestled in a cozy neighborhood at the base of Alyeska ski resort les than a mile from being loaded on chair 4! Here there are lovely homes with lovely neighbors. It is very safe.
This is our home, we live here part time so it has everything you should need. Please be considerate of our personal possessions, and respectful of our other guests.

You will have access to the entire 3 bedroom home on the 2nd and 3rd floors. There is a separate apartment on the first level that is also available on Airbnb. There is a shared laundry room inside the house, both units have separate locking security doors that access the laundry. The yard and hot tub are shared spaces when both units are occupied.

We have world-class dining. Foodies you have to eat it to believe it! You can get a #1 nationally ranked pepper steak at the Double Musky Inn featuring fresh local seafood with a Cajun flair and our own local wine sommelier. Sushi at Sakura in the Alyeska hotel. Farm to table dining at Jack Sprat and the Spoonline (my favorite!) The Bake Shop features fresh baked whole wheat sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls, breakfast, soups and sandwiches. All homemade and amazing. a local favorite. Then there is the Hightower pub, excellent local fare and best burger in town. To top it off we are home to the Girdwood Brewing co. featuring localy made hand crafted beers and a delightful tasting room. (I can almost see the brewery from my house). they have different food trucks and cozy fire pits, it’s pretty spectacular and where you’ll find us locals catching up in the evenings. But wait there’s more! If you’re feeling fancy, Seven Glaciers is at the top of the mountain. It’s a beautiful ride up the tram to get there. Our local haunts also include Chair 5, Coast Pizza and the Ice cream shop. I’m so hungry right now.

The location of Girdwood is very accommodating for all of the surrounding areas. Anchorage is only 40 mins away. A wonderful Conservation Park full of orphaned Alaskan animals is just a short 15 min drive south. Plan a day trip to Seward which is just 1 ½ hrs south. The quaint town of Girdwood is worth exploring. There is plenty of hiking, berrypicking when in season, great restaurants-all within walking distance of this cabin. There is even a shuttle that runs daily between the restaurants and the Alyeska Prince Hotel for those that prefer not to drive at night, it stops just a block from the cabin.

The inspiration for this space comes from the stunning natural surroundings and the majestic mountains in which it is nestled. The decor features a blend of textures, incorporating natural wood and stone elements. If you are an enthusiast of mountain living, you will thoroughly enjoy this serene 1960’s A-Frame Chalet. Don’t forget to take a relaxing sauna while you visit!

The Chalet is comprised of two bedrooms, with one featuring a king-sized bed and the other a queen-sized bed. Additionally, there is a lovely loft area (without a door) featuring a King-sized bed. A short scenic drive from Anchorage, First Tracks is a beautifully appointed 2000 sq. ft, newly built 3 level, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom chalet with jaw dropping views in the heart of this friendly mountain town. This modern chalet was built for comfort and adventure. It's a block from Mt Alyeska and restaurants, ski/bike shops, miles of trails, tennis courts and the Girdwood Brewery. It's the perfect launching pad for skiing, biking, fishing, hunting, sightseeing, kitesurfing and more.

The space
The first floor is the ski in/out entrance and equipment/gear storage area, full bathroom, large bunk room. A flight of stairs access the second floor. This is the main entrance, and the main bedrooms. There is a primary bedroom with ensuite bath, and another bedroom and bath. The third floor is entirely living and kitchen. There are mountain views from every enormous window. Access to the patio for outdoor dining and relaxing.

Other things to note
This chalet is the sister to Ketchum North. Rented in conjunction you will have the entire structure. It's perfect for two large families!

Spacious vacation lodge in the Girdwood Valley home of Alyeska Resort just 30 miles south of Anchorage by way of picturesque Turnagain Arm. Open concept with floor to ceiling redwood, pool table, gourmet kitchen, 20 foot tall circular fireplace.

The space
4 bedrooms, 3 full baths including 80 gallon jacuzzi, professional size pool table, separate entertainment room with large flat screen television. The focal point of the living room is a stand alone circular wood burning fireplace that creates a cozy ambiance and outdoor feeling. We specialize in large family reunions and family gatherings. This 2,000 SF townhouse was designed for an active, adventurous family. It's 1 block to the base of Mount Alyeska, restaurants, ski/bike shops, miles of trails, community park, tennis courts and the Girdwood Brewery. This is a 3 level, modern, cozy, rustic chalet/townhome. Ketchum North is in a prime location for ALL Girdwood activities and for a base location to Southcentral Alaska. Enjoy skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, sightseeing and more.

The space
The 1st floor is the main entry for skiers and bikers. There is a large area for all your gear to hang and dry if needed. The concrete floor is heated, so things dry quick. The laundry room is located on this floor. The 1st floor has a large bunkroom for the kids with their own full bathroom!
The 2nd floor can also be accessed from the outside steps. It has a master bedroom with an ensuite full bath. There is an additional bedroom and bathroom on this level.
The 3rd floor is open living and kitchen with spectacular views out every window. The deck on this level overlooks the tree tops to the Chugach mountains. Ketchum North is the place to hang out, relax and talk about your spectacular day in Alaska.

Access Ketchum North off Davos Road. There is enough parking for 3 vehicals. Enter the chalet on the North side entry on level 1. Use the combo pad entry or the key provided. The key works on the 2nd level entry too. It is a short walk up the hill to the Alyeska Resort day lodge and all the mountain activities. If you walk a few blocks down Davos, you'll find the Girdwood Brewery. They close at 8PM, so don't delay.

Other things to note
Ketchum North can be rented in conjunction with First Tracks and you have the entire structure to yourselves. It's perfect for 2 large families that want to be close, but not too close!

There are plenty of sightseeing and wildlife tours in the area, and hiking trails for even more discovery.

This getaway offers all the comforts of home, providing a great home base for relaxing and leisure. There's a grill on the covered porch and views of Max's Mountain to admire. Inside, this home boasts ample space - including two kitchens on different floors - allowing everyone to spread out. Gather together in the game room for some family fun, which offers foosball, a pool table, comfy seating, a large TV, and a dollhouse for the little ones in the group. There is free WiFi and cable TV for casual entertainment, and two fireplaces that create a warm ambiance for any moment.

The space
The entire upstairs unit in this ski chalet is all yours for your Alyeska retreat! This space is priced for four people. We will accommodate parties of up to eight upon request. There is a $30 ($33.60 including tax) nightly charge for each animal and for each additional beyond four. The additional fee doesn't automatically calculate when booking because our system doesn't have that functionality with your booing channel, so we will charge the additional amount separately after confirmation.

This upstairs unit is on the second and third floors. It features three bedrooms two with queen-sized beds and one with a double bed. The loft is the only room on the third floor and is equipped with a mini refrigerator/freezer, microwave, closet and dresser space, nightstands, floor lamp, and TV with streaming capabilities. Basic amenities are provided to make your stay comfortable and convenient. There are two small rooms on the main level, each with a queen-sized bed. This unit has an additional queen-sized air mattress available. The open floor plan makes it easy to entertain, and visit with your group while cooking and lounging. The most appealing feature is its great location, within walking distance of almost everything, and now with the free shuttle, it couldn't be more convenient! There is a nice mountain view from the loft bedroom and huge living room windows. You can access your streaming apps and watch movies or enjoy other app entertainment that you may have on the living room TV. The bathroom is small but is a full bath with cabinet space for all your stuff and amenities are provided. The windows are problematic. Some are hard to close, once opened, a couple have some superficial cracks (one pane on two pane window), and some don't have screens. All windows were slated to be replaced last spring, but then COVID hit and we couldn't do it. This year we are still catching up, so it is back on the list for next spring. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Everything is functional, but apparent that it could be better.

Animals and extra people are welcome, up to the maximum occupancy of eight for an extra charge of $30 per night for each animal and for each person after four people, which are included in the advertised rate.

Pets are welcome, upon approval. Please inquire about monthly pet fees for long-term stays. Dangerous dog breeds will not be approved in the shared house. If you feel that the extra animal/person fee is too expensive, and the value isn’t there for you, please don’t book this place. We want to offer pet-friendly places and we want your business, but we want you to be happy. We strive to keep the properties clean for all guests, which this fee helps pay for. You’ll be asked to rate the value of your experience, and If this fee creates a diminished value perception, then we hope you find another fabulous place for your party.

Self-check-in with a lock box makes late check-in easy. You'll be given the lock box code a few days prior to your arrival.

Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. We will offer you early check-in and late check-out options if it's available, a couple of days before your arrival/departure for a fee of $50.

There is a lower unit which may also have guests staying during your stay. Please be cognizant of the noise level to be courteous to the downstairs guests and please make sure there is at least one parking spot available for those guests should you arrive with no cars in the driveway to prevent being blocked in by the lower unit guests.

Host Kelli happens to be a co-owner of a large tour company with over 20 shore excursions throughout Alaska, mostly in the Southeast. She offers a 15% discount on all tours offered by Alaska Travel Adventures to her vacation rental guests. Unfortunately, Alaska Travel Adventures doesn’t currently offer any day tours in the area. If you are going on an Alaska cruise, or are interested in RV travel, this offer may be of interest to you. This is a cool place with some historical references. In 1998, Kelli bought the place to live in and considered painting over the Alaska-themed mural, but some of the Girdwood residents lobbied against it, including the librarian who stated that it was her dog painted on the property. She never painted over the mural, and now it seems appropriate to keep it that way. The cabin, now Alyeska Chalet, was built in 1964 and it was raised in 1978 when a concrete slab was poured and a block foundation installed creating a gift shop where tour buses would bring people on their way to and from the sites. Later the lower level housed "the bike shop". When the bike shop outgrew the space, it was converted to a two-bedroom dwelling unit.
