Relax with all the comforts of home in our beautiful and cozy log cabin. The Crystal Mountain Cabin comfortably accommodates 6 guests (or up to eight with the twin beds, for a small additional fee). This lovely cabin is a great place to get away for couples, families and friends. The large open floor plan has a great room feel downstairs with one bedroom and full bathroom. The 3/4 loft has 2 queen sized beds and is separated by a large ceiling height partition. There is a small bathroom in the loft.

The living room is a great place to spend time, with the gas fireplace that is very inviting. Our modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook at home. The large bathroom downstairs has its own washer and dryer.

Girdwood is home to world class downhill and cross country skiing! It is only a short, two minute walk to the lifts of Mt. Alyeska and a quicker ski home to your cabin. Moose Meadows is directly down the street and it is your access point to the extensive nordic ski trails.

Travelling down on the very scenic Seward Highway, you will enjoy specatular scenery and arrive to the friendly feeling of this small town in the forest. This area is considered the northern most expanse of the Pacific temperate rain forest. The lush mountains in the summer receive more than 600 inches of snow in the winter. Hanging glaciers surround the valley, connecting to the massive ice feilds of Prince William Sound. Bears, moose, dall sheep, mountain goats, eagles and other wildife is often seen in the area and right in town. Girdwood's small community is 'Alaska' and well worth the drive out of Anchorage.
