Cozy suite , bright and welcoming, 3 blocks from the ocean, close to all restaurants and shopping. Enjoy and relax , just bring your toothbrush. Private off street parking in quiet neighborhood. We have two bathrooms, two living room spaces with large flatscreens with Netflix & Prime, kitchen, dining room, hot tub and pool. We have board games, books and loungers for outside. We have plenty of free street parking and wifi is included. We also have just installed a small putting green and above ground pool in the backyard.
Guest access
Use of our Hot Tub is included. If there is a specific request please don't hesitate to ask. Hot tub is open till 10pm. Please let us open it and show you how to use it. If needed laundry facilities can be used however please ask before doing so.
Other things to Note
This is not a private home stay, Tom will be here. There is also a very well behaved dog named Lucy that lives here in the home. She will be in all the shared spaces, if you do not like dogs, this is not the stay for you. She is a 30lb sheltie, and loves people and playing fetch.
There is a public beach just a 30 second walk down the street. On site we also have Mindful Massage & Healing, which is a professional massage studio that Tom runs so you are welcome to book a massage during your stay.

Welcome to Estuary Escape. We are a cozy 2-bedroom basement suite across the street from the beautiful Quatse River Estuary. Suite comes with private entrance, patio w BBQ and seating, 3QB, 70inch television (Crave & Netflix), Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, stand up shower, work desk and fully equipped kitchen. Suite has changing seasonal views, garden views in the summer and estuary view in the winter/early spring when foliage is not in bloom.
The space
The property is a fair size. The grass/garden area in front of the suite is for guests to use, but we please ask guests to not climb the play fort or venture around the top front of the property. Feel free to help yourself to various berries around the property (blueberries, blackberries and thimbleberries. There is a nice pavement path across the street that runs along the estuary where you can walk to town or take a right and enjoy the Quatse Loop trail.
*** DISCLAIMER*** There are two young boys that live above the suite so there will be some sporadic thumping and bumping at times during the day when an energy release hits but is not an all day long affair. Please be aware of this prior to booking.

The entire basement suite is for guest use. There is a door off the kitchen that leads to a storage room between the upper and lower floors. This room is off limits and dead bolted.

Note: this is the home to two cats which will not be in the space during your stay. They live in the basement suite.
The space
You’ll have use to all spaces listed, 2 queen bedrooms, 1 full bath, fully equipped kitchen & living area. The home is a duplex located in a neighbourhood a short distance from the highway. You’ll find interesting collected art and pops of colours around the house. My hopes in hosting this space is you feel like you’re at home away from home.
The home is best equipped for adults and children 10+. There are stairways that do not have any safety gates and no child amenities.
*Note* the fireplace in the living room isn’t available to be used due to insurance reasons.
There’s a separate entrance suite in the basement suite of this home which is occupied as well as the garage. The home is a duplex so expect some noises especially with small children foot steps next door.
Laundry facilities are NOT AVAILABLE in this home. There are two laundromats in Port Hardy at the Quarterdeck Marina and at Stryker Marine. If you need help with addresses let me know.

There is a deck outback complete with a propane barbecue, and a deck out front to sit and watch all the Eagles, and possibly in our car to swimming in the ocean, just stepped away from your front door.

It's situated in the historic village of Fort Rupert and has spectacular views of the islands from its perch right on its own beach. From our home you can adventure out fishing, go whalewatching (sometimes right from the living room), go for a picnic on the islands or create your own adventure.
There are also things like petroglyphs in the area if you like to explore, including some on the beach in front of the house. You may even get lucky and find some old trade beads along the way.
All year round there are beautiful wild animals that roam the beach in front of the house. We've seen Eagles, Herons, Otters, Seals, Sea Lions, Porpoises, Whales, and Bears "Oh my" and all sorts of water fowl while living in this beautiful home. In the spring the Eagles teach their young to fly right here in this bay!
This is a private oasis yet is just a short drive to downtown Port Hardy. Artist studio of Jason Henry Hunt is also right across the street for those with an interest in First Nations art.
With 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms this home sleeps 7 comfortably. Wi-Fi and cable are at the residence along with a fully equipped kitchen and a washer dryer. Also has a firepit so you can enjoy and relax for an evening on the beach.

The space
Our beach house is a large and very spacious rancher, located in the lovely Storey's Beach community and a 30 second walk to the beach. 5 minute drive to the airport, 10 to the town of Port Hardy, and 10 to the ferry terminal.

A secondary self contained studio suite is attached to the main house, please no access to their corner of yard (no driveway gate access).
No access to the detached shop in the yard.
No access to the attached garage.
No parking in front of the right gate and the left garage door (from the driveway facing the house).
Other things to note
We strive to offer our guests an immaculate stay, but please keep in mind this is our personal family home. Unlike a hotel, you will experience some personal effects and slight wear and tear. The house was built in the late 70's and you may note some "charm" from the era.

This stunning home is two suites, all rolled into one so you get two kitchens, two living rooms, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a glorious view you will remember for the rest of your life. Located at gorgeous Storey’s Beach on Northern Vancouver Island. This home is quite a new build and it’s just steps away from the beach and ocean. There is also a large deck that you can sit, and watch the Eagles as they’re are many, and you may even see an orca or 2!
The space
The property has a huge front and backyard. There is enough parking for probably three cars and a boat. As well as parking out front in of the house. They are two suites rolled into one so you have double of everything! Each room is equipped with a queen size bed with luxurious, high thread count sheets, as well as TVs in each room. Each living room has a huge couch. One is a sectional and upstairs there two recliners you can kick back and enjoy the big screen TV. each kitchen has enough to cook anything you would like almost and upstairs has a dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer in both upstairs and down if needed. The deck is gorgeous downstairs so you can sit in the shade on the loungers and relax, or upstairs on the vast patio where you can lay back get some sun and enjoy the view!
