I was flying in late and they made sure to meet me right at the dock so checkin was a breeze. You should stay here if you're going to a convention in Long Beach. It's less expensive than some of the hotels, and the walk to the convention center is about five minutes...in Long Beach's famous weather. The working space is bigger than in a hotel room, plus you get a personal continental breakfast every morning, already in your kitchen. A bonus is, at your convention you have an opening line for every conversation, "I'm staying on a boat over in the marina." Everyone is jealous. The only downside is parking. The lots are about a 10 minute walk. If I did it again I'd take an Lyft/Cab from the airport. There are so many restaurants right on the marina that you won't run out of places to eat. AC does NOT cool down the unit at ALL during the day. So be aware!! Cornhole IS INOPERABLE. So many things honestly. We couldn’t stay here. We had to leave somewhere else and only come back to sleep in a bed full of hairs and a black stain. Smh. Had to buy a lint roller to clean as much as we could and floors are dirty"

This is a very cozy and comfortable sailboat ⛵️ in Marina Del Rey. The area is safe with security roaming the area. Close to Venice beach. Perfect for a couple, the boat is a great vibe with everything you need. Boat really comes to life at night with all the lighting. Showers and bathrooms on premises. The boat is equipped with a Mini fridge, mini freezer, Gas and electric cooktops, coffee pot, blender and a water kettle. Boat has a heater that keeps the boat super warm wile having great airflow throughout the boat. You will love being part of the sea life here specially seeing our neighbors the sea lions. This is fun experience sleeping in the water and seeing all the stars from the bedroom. Keep in mind this is not a 5 star hotel but has everythingyou need to have a great time. Paddle boarding, kayaking and any other water sports are available in the area. Great cafes and restaurants walking distance from the boat. Bathroom and showers a short walk away. The teardrop is located in our gated backyard. My husband and I currently live in the house so you can enjoy your privacy separately or come mingle in the house, we are open to either!

The “Torrance Teardrop” provides your own safe place for all the necessities - relax, sleep, cook and eat! You will also have access to our bathroom and option to share the kitchen and laundry within our house.

There will be free wifi access and free parking. In the backyard, we also have a BBQ and gas fire pit with chairs and a camp table. Feel free to pitch a tent in the backyard for a real camping experience!

Other things to note
Preferably dog friendly. Please let us know if you’re not.

We have a very friendly dog, Deuce. He lives with us inside the house. He may interact with you when you enter the house and when he roams the backyard. If you ignore him, he will ignore you - he’s quick to learn who will give him pets/attention. We are happy to keep him on a leash if you prefer.

Please let us know if you would like to use the EV charger, it will be an additional $15/day.
