YurtSimple is where life slows down and people unplug. It’s forest bathing in nature. It’s getting away from it all to spend time with a partner, by oneself, and sometimes with pets. You’ll be driving past YurtCation (the original site on Airbnb) to get to YurtSimple. YurtCation is 20’ in diameter and YurtSimple is 16’ in diameter.
The space
A yurt on a semi-private lake. Off the grid. Think luxe camping. Yes, it’s furnished with a comfy bed and super cozy wood burning stove. You can hike on the property and even see Icelandic horses. Or you can bike/hike at Camrock. Canoe provided. BBQ provided.

Other things to note
YurtSimple has launched as of 10/10/21. This new site is in addition to YurtCation which has been up and running since 10/10/18. YurtSimple is about 500ft up the same driveway from YurtCation. There are a total of two yurts and two homes that have access to the same 17 acre lake. Each yurt is off the grid and has their own queen-sized comfy bed, wood stove, Weber grill w/charcoal, fire pit, firewood, fresh water, canoe, and clean Porto Potty. Pets love it. The space
**Pet fee is $30 for a dog, there are chickens running around so you must keep your dog on a leash** Unfortunately we do not allow cats.
This mini farm with 35 acres is shared with the free roaming chickens and horse pastures. The luxury 35 foot Motor home is located past the house but you share the acres and can enjoy the large fire pit and creek that runs along the property.

Due to the chickens roaming freely, your pet must be kept on a leash and not allowed near the chickens. Please let the owner know if you are bringing a dog and that they won't disturb the chickens.
Bring the family for an unforgettable vacation. The Midnight Splash is available weekdays from 2 to 4 nights. The 2 night stay comes with a 2-hour charter on the lake. Where you can play on the water slide, sun tan on the upper deck, BBQ or jump off the boat into the water. Captain Silas can bring you to the famous 3 ft Bay, or park out in front of the Capitol to enjoy the view and the sunshine. Each additional day that you book on the Midnight Splash comes with an additional 1 hour
