For those traveling with pets, there’s a doggie door leading to a fully fenced backyard, with an extension that goes up to 6 feet to accommodate even the most determined pups (our lab was quite the overachiever!). The doggie door is in the exterior storm door, so you can easily close it off when not in use. We also provide pet bowls, a large dog bed, and crates for your furry companions.

Sadness again as we saw that the raccoon had most likely dug up all the eggs that we watched the turtle patiently lay the day before. We roamed the paths and paddled in Pomonkey Creek and its marshes identifying plants. The cottage lacks for nothing. It is a relaxing space even during the rain. You have everything you need here. -Property is extremely private with Piscataway Park (and a public boat ramp) on one side and a tree farm on the other side.

-There are two video cameras on the exterior of the house. They monitor the parking area and the backyard.
-Bryans Road is a very small town and as such the local dining and entertainment options are very limited. The towns of Waldorf and La Playa are a 15-20 minute drive and have many options but we want our guests to be aware of this before booking so that they can plan accordingly (or book elsewhere if local dining and entertainment options are a priority).

- "The house was nice for a shared home. Bed was comfortable sleeping. Doorknob locks with codes for bedrooms were great. No coffee filters no big coffee mugs not much flatware needs up graded, also Bath towels run down and small. Needs bath mat for tub area. I had to carry my bath carpet mat from my room that was on my floor by the bed with a stain on it to use to step out of my shower that was shared too. TV very small in my room too. Bed against the wall hard to get into for other person. Carpet on stairs were dirty. "

- "We moved to the area and needed a home to stay in while we were house hunting. The house is new and was nice to stay in - cute design and furnishings, conveniently located off a main road near grocery stores and rt 210. The house had just the right amount of space and all the cooking tools we needed. Only bad parts: the furniture in the living room is white, way too easy to dirty so we barely touched it and we weren't allowed to use the master closet which was inconvenient (fine for shorter stays but we were there for a few weeks). All in all, beautiful home in a cute location and it suited our needs."

In this farmhouse, you will have the best of both worlds--privacy and close to city life. It is in a rural setting to enjoy all nature has to offer yet it's only 25 minutes to National Harbor, 30 minutes to Washington DC, and 30 minutes to Northern Virginia. This farmhouse will be your own private retreat (except the garage, inventory closets and the separate red building (detached apartment occupied by host couple-see note below ) and the shed.
There are three bedrooms upstairs: the master bedroom has a queen bed,bathroom with bathtub, dresser, chest, and a closet; the second bedroom has 2 queen beds, a chest and closet; the third bedroom has a bunk bed, a day bed with pull out trundle, a chest and a closet. There’s a full bathroom in the hallway with a bathtub. The main level living room has a pull out couch with a twin bed and in the foyer closet there are 1 twin size air mattresses. The family room has a 55” TV and sofa bed with pull out queen size mattress.
The full kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, and BBQ grill utensils, salt and pepper, and wine glasses.
Relax in the living room with a gorgeous view to the huge open field and maple tree. Or enjoy a movie in the family room. You choose!
