- "This place was just what we needed to escape the cold Canadian winter for a month. Communication was swift and easy with Estibalez who spoke English. We communicated with her father through Google translate when we had questions. The house was charming and quaint with lots of Spanish charm. We only used one of the four bedrooms and thought the bedding and towels could be updated and refreshed. We really appreciated individual room heating especially at night for the few couple of weeks as the temperature dropped when the sun went down. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. By the middle of our trip we were taking our meals outdoors to the patio to take in the marvellous views of the sea which was one of the reasons we chose this place. However, the trip up the winding road to get to those views was a little nerve wracking especially when meeting an oncoming car with no place to pass or pull over. You will need a rental car to enjoy this place, just make sure it is a smaller vehicle. You will need it to get into Almunecar for groceries and for day trips to the beaches around. It is well located for day trips to Granada, Nerja, the Caminito del Rey, Ronda and Frigiliana. All in all, this place was most enjoyable and the weather was was perfect for mid February to mid March."

- "We spent a month with our 6 months old baby at Cubo del mar and it was just as amazing as the pictures! Peaceful bay and incredible location with good access to services, beaches and mountains. Accommodating for a baby (crib, high chair, small bath), but outdoor area may not be safe for toddlers. Great recommendations from the host for activities and restaurants, thanks Florian! Very responsive whenever there were questions and demands. We really have to think hard to find things that could be improved. There were annoying wild cats looking for food on the terrace. Overall, we strongly recommend this house!"

Villa Hirondelle is located in the private urbanization Peña Parda, just 5 minutes walk from the beach and the Mediterranean sea. It is a quiet environment surrounded by nature.
The 220m2 of the villa are located on a 1000m2 plot facing south-east, so each morning you can enjoy the sunrise at La Punta de la Mona.
It is easily accessible by car and in a walking distance from the beach . If you are planning to arrive by car, it will be easy to park it on the street next the villa, as there is space enough. (Note that the correct address, and which will appear on the gps is Calle Nueva Peña Parda number 87. )
Once you arrive, the main entrance to the Villa is a grey gate, which will take you to an impressive garden with orange and lemon trees. Behind the the main entrance wooden gate you will find the hall, which divides the house into two parts. On the right you will find the living-dining room, the laundry room, and a spacious and well-equipped kitchen with its purified drinking water system.
And on the left, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all on one floor. Air conditioning and wifi will always be present in each room.

- "Pros: The house was very Nice with a beautifull view at the sea. It is situated on the mountain in alfa mar, Salobreña. Bert clean pool, house was recently renovated and looks great. Everything you need is there: towels, dishwasher, ... You name it. Even better Then the house are the house owners. Bert friendly and helpfull, better Then I could ever imagine. We had a problem with the washing mashine (our fault to ben clear) and it hot fixed the next day. Any questions we had we're always answered quickly and to the Point. Five stars is not enough die these house owners, but is the most I van give..."

Villa Las Dalias is a typical Andalusian Finca style villa, next to Almunecar and close to Nerja. It is the perfect holiday home for a big family, a few families with children or up to 7 couples. The excellent facilities Las Dalias has to offer will make you come home a closer family or group of friends.

The villa faces south-west, has a surface of 334 m² inside with a unique sea view from living room, dining room and in no less than 5 of the bedrooms. Waking up, the very first thing you see is the deep blue Mediterranean Sea.

From wherever you are in the villa, the views are breathtaking and unimpeded on the beach, the Marina del Este in La Herradura, exclusive Punta de la Mona and the Mediterranean Sea.

You will enter the top floor with fully equiped kitchen, large living room , beautiful second living room next the typically Andalusian windows and arches. Further up the 20 m long corridor there are 4 bedrooms, all with airconditioning, 2 bath rooms and an extra shower in the linnen room. We have named the bedrooms Mariposa, Alhambra, Toro, Flamenco (upstairs), Mar en Paraiso Azul downstairs. They are beautifully decorated according to their name.

Downstairs next to the heated pool is bar with american refrigerator serving the lounge set poolside. There are two bathrooms for the three rooms at pool level : Alpujarras, Mar an Paraiso Azul (family room with double bed and bunk bed), all three with a lovely sea view. All have immediate access to the pool area.

Outside you can relax on the spacious terraces on both levels. The terrace on the entrance level has a lovely outside kitchen with barbecue.

The very lively, typicall Spanish town of Almunecar with its wide promenades and numerous restaurants and shops, as well as beautiful, wide beaches is just walking distance away.

- "Pros: Beste Frank We kwamen met 8 personen, de villa is groot en schoon, alles is erop en eraan. Zwembad is 2 x in de week schoon gemaakt. Er zijn veel kleine mieren maar dat is goed te onderhouden. We maken iedere dag schoon en weg te sproeien. Beautiful villa situated above the village of La Herradura, in a small cul de sac on the Punta de la Mona. Wonderful views across the local bay and to the west down the coast towards Malaga and the sunset. The villa is ideal for a couple, large family or two families sharing. There are five spacious air conditioned comfortable bedrooms (four of which are en-suite). the fifth family bathroom has a wc, basin and walk in shower ), a large lounge with sat tv and wood burning stove, dining room, separate kitchen and utility room. On the lower ground floor level a studio kitchen with washing machine, fridge/freezer, hob and combination oven/microwave.

A spacious covered terrace/outside dining area overlooks the pool area with panoramic views both out to sea and inland to the mountains.

- "Hideous flight delay, arrived at property at 1.30 in the morning to find our hosts dutifully waiting for us with beer, wine and food in the fridge. A fantastic welcome from a wonderful couple. The villa was immaculate and beyond our expectations. Everything and more was on hand to make our stay comfortable. Wonderful garden with sun and shade in equal measure. Huge swimming pool shared with a few other villas with resident guard. Walk to beach was circa 5 to 7 minutes downhill which would make the walk back taxing for anybody with real mobility issues. I'm overweight with arthritis and managed it every day wirh no real stress. Wonderful part of the world and all prices very reasonable. Dined out every night. Situated on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean, the villa is located in Taramay, near to the traditionally Spanish town of Almunecar. The house retains a high level of privacy whilst being within walking distance of beaches and shops approx 25 minutes walk down to the nearest beach or just a few minutes by car. The pretty village of La Herradura is 10 minutes drive away.Entering the villa by the front door there is a spacious hallway with cloakroom to the side. Follow the steps down to the enormous open plan living area where there is a grand glass topped dining table large enough to seat 14 people. Behind this is the huge lounge area with masses of seating on either the big comfy sofa or chaise longues where you can spend the evening chatting to friends, watching television on the large screen or listening to music.The kitchen is large with a double oven, two fridge freezers, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher. The cupboards are stocked with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and everything else you could possibly need. From here there are double doors which lead out to the first of many terraces where you can spend the day in the sunshine or shading yourself from the hot sun.Also from the hallway there are steps up to the Master bedroom which has a large 1.80 metre bed, en-suite full bathroom, and walk in wardrobe. From this bedroom is the incredible roof terrace which again has an array of comfortable seating, either in a wrap around sofa, or sunbeds. The views from the terrace are incredible, reaching across Almunecar on one side or to Salobrena and Motril on the other side. Stairs from this terrace also lead back to the kitchen terrace so the trip for more refreshments is only a few steps away!Returning to the front door, and down to the left are the other three double bedrooms and one twin together with two large wet rooms. Two of the double bedrooms have doors leading out to yet another large terrace and eating area overlooking the swimming pool and the other double bedroom has a door going down into the garden.From the dining area there are steps leading to the Bodega (wine cellar) and then on to two further double bedrooms both with patio doors leading to the gardens, a twin room and two shower rooms..The gardens have been beautifully laid out with plenty of lawn area leading to a very large swimming pool (heated as an optional extra from October - April) together with separate heated jacuzzi, ponds and many steps leading back round to the front door. There is parking for 3 cars in the driveway and the house has secure gates.When it is time to dine, spoil yourself in the BBQ area that will meet your very need with a state of the art gas BBQ, sink and kitchen area.
