- "This place was just what we needed to escape the cold Canadian winter for a month. Communication was swift and easy with Estibalez who spoke English. We communicated with her father through Google translate when we had questions. The house was charming and quaint with lots of Spanish charm. We only used one of the four bedrooms and thought the bedding and towels could be updated and refreshed. We really appreciated individual room heating especially at night for the few couple of weeks as the temperature dropped when the sun went down. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. By the middle of our trip we were taking our meals outdoors to the patio to take in the marvellous views of the sea which was one of the reasons we chose this place. However, the trip up the winding road to get to those views was a little nerve wracking especially when meeting an oncoming car with no place to pass or pull over. You will need a rental car to enjoy this place, just make sure it is a smaller vehicle. You will need it to get into Almunecar for groceries and for day trips to the beaches around. It is well located for day trips to Granada, Nerja, the Caminito del Rey, Ronda and Frigiliana. All in all, this place was most enjoyable and the weather was was perfect for mid February to mid March."

Villa Hirondelle is located in the private urbanization Peña Parda, just 5 minutes walk from the beach and the Mediterranean sea. It is a quiet environment surrounded by nature.
The 220m2 of the villa are located on a 1000m2 plot facing south-east, so each morning you can enjoy the sunrise at La Punta de la Mona.
It is easily accessible by car and in a walking distance from the beach . If you are planning to arrive by car, it will be easy to park it on the street next the villa, as there is space enough. (Note that the correct address, and which will appear on the gps is Calle Nueva Peña Parda number 87. )
Once you arrive, the main entrance to the Villa is a grey gate, which will take you to an impressive garden with orange and lemon trees. Behind the the main entrance wooden gate you will find the hall, which divides the house into two parts. On the right you will find the living-dining room, the laundry room, and a spacious and well-equipped kitchen with its purified drinking water system.
And on the left, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all on one floor. Air conditioning and wifi will always be present in each room.
From the living room you can go out to the terrace, where you will find the chill-out area, the barbacue and the saltwater pool. You can sunbathe on the sun loungers and enjoy a good barbacue.
Garden maintenance will be carried out once or twice in the week, consulting suitable times with the client at check in time.
The 3 bedrooms are equipped, 2 of them have double beds and the other 2 separate beds for single use each. One of these rooms has direct access to the terrace and pool area. Villa Las Dalias is a typical Andalusian Finca style villa, next to Almunecar and close to Nerja. It is the perfect holiday home for a big family, a few families with children or up to 7 couples. The excellent facilities Las Dalias has to offer will make you come home a closer family or group of friends.

The villa faces south-west, has a surface of 334 m² inside with a unique sea view from living room, dining room and in no less than 5 of the bedrooms. Waking up, the very first thing you see is the deep blue Mediterranean Sea.

From wherever you are in the villa, the views are breathtaking and unimpeded on the beach, the Marina del Este in La Herradura, exclusive Punta de la Mona and the Mediterranean Sea.

Surface of the garden is 1500 m². It is well taken care of and it has a lovely private ( heated ) swimming pool. The villa also has a carport .

You will enter the top floor with fully equiped kitchen, large living room , beautiful second living room next the typically Andalusian windows and arches. Further up the 20 m long corridor there are 4 bedrooms, all with airconditioning, 2 bath rooms and an extra shower in the linnen room. We have named the bedrooms Mariposa, Alhambra, Toro, Flamenco (upstairs), Mar en Paraiso Azul downstairs. They are beautifully decorated according to their name.

Downstairs next to the heated pool is bar with american refrigerator serving the lounge set poolside. There are two bathrooms for the three rooms at pool level : Alpujarras, Mar an Paraiso Azul (family room with double bed and bunk bed), all three with a lovely sea view. All have immediate access to the pool area.

Outside you can relax on the spacious terraces on both levels. The terrace on the entrance level has a lovely outside kitchen with barbecue.

The very lively, typicall Spanish town of Almunecar with its wide promenades and numerous restaurants and shops, as well as beautiful, wide beaches is just walking distance away.

Villa Las Dalias is ideally located to visit all the beautiful places Andalucia has to offer : beautiful Nerja with The Balcony of Europe is just 12 miles away, Malaga , Granada and the mountains of the Sierra Nevada only 50 miles or a one hour drive. - "Pros: Beste Frank We kwamen met 8 personen, de villa is groot en schoon, alles is erop en eraan. Zwembad is 2 x in de week schoon gemaakt. Er zijn veel kleine mieren maar dat is goed te onderhouden. We maken iedere dag schoon en weg te sproeien. Keuken is ruim met keukengerij, we hebben veel gekookt en de gigantische gourmetset hebben we ook gebtruikt. Wonderful views across the local bay and to the west down the coast towards Malaga and the sunset. The villa is ideal for a couple, large family or two families sharing. Huge swimming pool shared with a few other villas with resident guard. Walk to beach was circa 5 to 7 minutes downhill which would make the walk back taxing for anybody with real mobility issues. Situated on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean, the villa is located in Taramay, near to the traditionally Spanish town of Almunecar. The house retains a high level of privacy whilst being within walking distance of beaches and shops approx 25 minutes walk down to the nearest beach or just a few minutes by car. The pretty village of La Herradura is 10 minutes drive away.Entering the villa by the front door there is a spacious hallway with cloakroom to the side. Follow the steps down to the enormous open plan living area where there is a grand glass topped dining table large enough to seat 14 people. Behind this is the huge lounge area with masses of seating on either the big comfy sofa or chaise longues where you can spend the evening chatting to friends, watching television on the large screen or listening to music.The kitchen is large with a double oven, two fridge freezers, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher. From this bedroom is the incredible roof terrace which again has an array of comfortable seating, either in a wrap around sofa, or sunbeds. The views from the terrace are incredible, reaching across Almunecar on one side or to Salobrena and Motril on the other side. Stairs from this terrace also lead back to the kitchen terrace so the trip for more refreshments is only a few steps away!Returning to the front door, and down to the left are the other three double bedrooms and one twin together with two large wet rooms. This spectacular modern-style villa is located in a prime location, just steps from the beach, 250 meters away, yet boasting stunning sea and mountain views.
The ground floor consists of four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and the living room and kitchen, which extends over 50 meters. Directly opposite the living room, we have access to numerous terraces and the pool.

Upstairs, there is a room with its own bathroom, which serves as a multifunctional room, bedroom, game room, and home theater. It has a pool table and ping-pong table, and a large terrace that wraps around the house.

Parking is available both inside the property and along the exterior wall of the house. The infinity pool measures approximately 9.5 meters long x 4.5 meters wide, with submerged seating. Four of the five bedrooms have sea views, and the large windows maximize the views and allow natural light to flow in.
It's just a stone's throw from the "Tito Yayo" beach bar on Cabria Beach.
We have an outdoor jacuzzi with five seats: two reclining and three sitting.

A real surprise on arrival was the welcome pack, which included butter, milk, margarine, fruit, coke, beers, coffee and tea (PG Tips so they knew their audience!!!) and bread. The villa also had all the 'basic' necessities like toilet roll, kitchen roll, foil, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid etc. The villa itself was so clean and spacious. It has Smart TV's so if you want to amuse the kids in the middle of the day when avoiding the sun you can connect your Netflix, Prime accounts etc The general amenities in the villa were great. If you love coffee you have 3 different options. A nespresso type machine, a filter machine and a 'proper' coffee-making machine. The views from the villa were stunning! From dawn until dusk they are ever-changing and it was great having a glass of wine in the evening and watching the sunset. Location-wise you need a car. It is close to some lovely restaurant but if you are elderly you will struggle with the walk back. Really highly recommended!!"
