- "This place was just what we needed to escape the cold Canadian winter for a month. Communication was swift and easy with Estibalez who spoke English. We communicated with her father through Google translate when we had questions. The house was charming and quaint with lots of Spanish charm. We only used one of the four bedrooms and thought the bedding and towels could be updated and refreshed. We really appreciated individual room heating especially at night for the few couple of weeks as the temperature dropped when the sun went down. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. By the middle of our trip we were taking our meals outdoors to the patio to take in the marvellous views of the sea which was one of the reasons we chose this place. However, the trip up the winding road to get to those views was a little nerve wracking especially when meeting an oncoming car with no place to pass or pull over. You will need a rental car to enjoy this place, just make sure it is a smaller vehicle. You will need it to get into Almunecar for groceries and for day trips to the beaches around. It is well located for day trips to Granada, Nerja, the Caminito del Rey, Ronda and Frigiliana. All in all, this place was most enjoyable and the weather was was perfect for mid February to mid March."

Villa Hirondelle is located in the private urbanization Peña Parda, just 5 minutes walk from the beach and the Mediterranean sea. It is a quiet environment surrounded by nature.
The 220m2 of the villa are located on a 1000m2 plot facing south-east, so each morning you can enjoy the sunrise at La Punta de la Mona.
It is easily accessible by car and in a walking distance from the beach . If you are planning to arrive by car, it will be easy to park it on the street next the villa, as there is space enough. (Note that the correct address, and which will appear on the gps is Calle Nueva Peña Parda number 87. )
Once you arrive, the main entrance to the Villa is a grey gate, which will take you to an impressive garden with orange and lemon trees. Behind the the main entrance wooden gate you will find the hall, which divides the house into two parts. On the right you will find the living-dining room, the laundry room, and a spacious and well-equipped kitchen with its purified drinking water system.
And on the left, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all on one floor. Air conditioning and wifi will always be present in each room.
From the living room you can go out to the terrace, where you will find the chill-out area, the barbacue and the saltwater pool. You can sunbathe on the sun loungers and enjoy a good barbacue.
Garden maintenance will be carried out once or twice in the week, consulting suitable times with the client at check in time.
The 3 bedrooms are equipped, 2 of them have double beds and the other 2 separate beds for single use each. One of these rooms has direct access to the terrace and pool area. We had a problem with the washing mashine (our fault to ben clear) and it hot fixed the next day. Any questions we had we're always answered quickly and to the Point. Villa Las Dalias is a typical Andalusian Finca style villa, next to Almunecar and close to Nerja. It is the perfect holiday home for a big family, a few families with children or up to 7 couples. The excellent facilities Las Dalias has to offer will make you come home a closer family or group of friends.

The villa faces south-west, has a surface of 334 m² inside with a unique sea view from living room, dining room and in no less than 5 of the bedrooms. Waking up, the very first thing you see is the deep blue Mediterranean Sea.

From wherever you are in the villa, the views are breathtaking and unimpeded on the beach, the Marina del Este in La Herradura, exclusive Punta de la Mona and the Mediterranean Sea.

Surface of the garden is 1500 m². It is well taken care of and it has a lovely private ( heated ) swimming pool. The villa also has a carport .

You will enter the top floor with fully equiped kitchen, large living room , beautiful second living room next the typically Andalusian windows and arches. Further up the 20 m long corridor there are 4 bedrooms, all with airconditioning, 2 bath rooms and an extra shower in the linnen room. We have named the bedrooms Mariposa, Alhambra, Toro, Flamenco (upstairs), Mar en Paraiso Azul downstairs. They are beautifully decorated according to their name.

Downstairs next to the heated pool is bar with american refrigerator serving the lounge set poolside. There are two bathrooms for the three rooms at pool level : Alpujarras, Mar an Paraiso Azul (family room with double bed and bunk bed), all three with a lovely sea view. All have immediate access to the pool area.

Outside you can relax on the spacious terraces on both levels. The terrace on the entrance level has a lovely outside kitchen with barbecue.

The very lively, typicall Spanish town of Almunecar with its wide promenades and numerous restaurants and shops, as well as beautiful, wide beaches is just walking distance away.

- "Pros: Beste Frank We kwamen met 8 personen, de villa is groot en schoon, alles is erop en eraan. Zwembad is 2 x in de week schoon gemaakt. Er zijn veel kleine mieren maar dat is goed te onderhouden. We maken iedere dag schoon en weg te sproeien. Keuken is ruim met keukengerij, we hebben veel gekookt en de gigantische gourmetset hebben we ook gebtruikt. There are five spacious air conditioned comfortable bedrooms (four of which are en-suite). the fifth family bathroom has a wc, basin and walk in shower ), a large lounge with sat tv and wood burning stove, dining room, separate kitchen and utility room. On the lower ground floor level a studio kitchen with washing machine, fridge/freezer, hob and combination oven/microwave.

A spacious covered terrace/outside dining area overlooks the pool area with panoramic views both out to sea and inland to the mountains.

Outside are three sun terraces, a private non- heated swimming pool with a cascade feature, large eight person hot tub and a games room which features a pool/snooker table and darts etc. The villa has a double garage which houses a full size table tennis table and outside parking.

The villa is a 10/15 minute walk down to the village which has a 2 km beach, many varied restaurants, butchers, bakers, shops, post office and banks with ATM's. A covered local market selling meat, fish and vegetables is open every morning on the Playa. On Friday mornings on the Plazza is La Herradura's weekly market with a few stalls selling clothes and local produce.
