Location: Located just 25 minutes from Malaga Airport, the villa is situated in a quiet, mature complex that stretches from the beach back into the hills.
The views from the villa are magnificent. In one direction you can look up into the hills and the while-walled village of Benalmadena Pueblo. In the other, the blue seas of the Mediterranean stretch out in front of you.
With just a 5 minute walk to the local railway station and a 10 minute walk down the the beach, it is difficult to imagine anywhere more ideally positioned.

The Villa: The large terraces and the private swimming pool are the first things that greet our guests. Open the front door and you look into the spacious lounge with marble floors and high ceilings complete with huge picture window and large balcony looking down to the sea. The main room is equipped with air-conditioning which also provides heat in the winter. Downstairs are the two double bedrooms each equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fan and external blinds which keep them cool for those hot summer evenings.
With gardens walled to give total privacy, visitors can relax in tranquil surroundings while access to the local tennis club with floodlit courts, large swimming pool and world class golf courses are only minutes away.

The Urbanisation: At the entrance to the urbanisation there are several beach bars and restaurants. There is a mini-market, a cafe, a bar as well as real-estate offices in front of the newly opened International English School. Just through the under pass are beaches, more bars and restaurants as well as the local hotel which has entertainment most evenings.
Further back in the complex is the local railway station servicing the coast from Malaga via the airport through to Fuengirola - it is even possible to take a series of trains all the way from London to the urbanisation - one of our clients did! Besides the station there is a small road that travels up into the hills to the village of Benalmadena Pueblo which offers stupendous views over the coastal plain as well as a small restaurant on nearly every corner.

There is a double sofa bed in the games room. On the first floor is another master bedroom with superking bed. There is also a small living room with TV, a shower room, separate w/c and two roof terraces.

The team do an expert job and you will be provided with cleaning materials such as spray bleach, disinfectant, sanitiser.

LOCAL AREA: You'll be within 3 minutes walk to the sandy beach and Puerto Marina. You can also walk to the Sea Life Centre, Tivoli World, cable car, Selwo Marine Centre, shops, huge selection of restaurants. From Puerto Marina you can take boat trips along the coast or dolphin watching - or just stroll along and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere! The promenade connects up the Castillo de Bil Bil right along to Torremolinos, passing through Puerto Marina and La Carihuela. There are some excellent local bars and chiringuitos to stop at whilst you stroll along enjoying the sunshine and wonderful sea views.

You can get a taxi or bus to the local Water Park and to the Crocodile Park. Or, an excursion to Mijas, Ronda, Granada, Cordoba, Gibraltar..... These can be booked locally and there is an information file in the villa to help you.

Fabulous family villa (designed by the American architect, Frank Lloyd- Wright) and guesthouse in large, private gardens with many tropical plants, roses and citrus fruits. The urbanisation is one of the oldest on the Costa del Sol and has patrolling security at night. Most of the people who live here are permanent residents, giving the area a feeling of calm and stability- no night clubs in the neighbourhood, although you will find them a 15 minute car drive away.
The house has been our family home for over 30 years which means it doesn't have the typical "rental property feel". There are games and books, sewing stuff, toys, videos, dvd´s, a fully equipped kitchen, my cooking books, spices and baking stuffs. Please use it! There are two fridge freezers, washing machine/drier (although I never use it, preferring to dry the clothes naturally) a large Weber bbq, wifi, satellite tv, play house, basketball hoop, football goal, table tennis, beach bags & toys etc.
You are more than welcome to pick lemons for your evening drinks. There are several tropical and semi-tropical plants and fruits as well as roses and lilies, depending on the time of year. The pool is very large for a private villa and has a fence with 2 lockable gates. There is a slide (removable) and a diving board.
The property is ideal for families of three generations for example, and big enough so that you can all enjoy your own space or come together by the pool or dining table or one of the seating areas.
We supply all linen and towels as well as beach chairs, beach toys and cool bags- the house is and has been, our home for over 30 years so is fully equipped for families.
The villa has French doors in all rooms facing the expansive, flat lawns, making this a very easy and comfortable way to live for all ages. There are several seating areas, both in shade and sun, and we have four shaded areas for dining, drinks or relaxing, One outside the dining room, one by the pool, one behind the house and the other overlooking the sea.
There are several Championship golf courses nearby and a driving range within 0.5km. Gym, tennis and padel close-by. Beaches, many of them with Blue Flags, are within a 10 minute drive as is Aqua Park, Selwo Marina, Fuengirola Zoo and Benalmadena Marina. For anyone wanting to travel further, there are excellent train connections to Malaga, Cordoba, Sevilla and Madrid. This is a quiet area without bars and restaurants within the urbanisation but the village of Benalmadena Pueblo has a surprisingly large selection of really good restaurants!
Our 1 dog (Rango) may be on the property but not anywhere in your areas- he is looked after by the gardener and although very friendly, we ask that you don´t let him out (you are likely to lose your bbq chicken...or get his company in the pool). Please do not feed him.

The pergola is heaven—gorgeous views of the sea with soft breezes and comfy sofas. The garden is lovely and fragrant. The pool is large and central to the house and guest house. We had an awesome family reunion of 11 people of all ages from ages 1 to 70 years old. Everyone said it was the best holiday ever!! The main house is an ideal balance of a comfortable family home and elegance. The bedrooms (ensuite) are split on either side of the living, dining, and kitchen areas allowing for privacy for all the guests. The kitchen is a “cook’s kitchen”. There are 4 dining table options—next to the kitchen, formal dining table with a view of the garden and 2 large outdoor tables. The guest house allows for additional privacy and areas for people (for example older children) to gather together. The whole property feels like you are staying in your own private luxury resort. We spent half a day touring each in Malaga and Marbella, boating, hiking, and swimming on beaches and then went “home” to relax, talk, enjoy each other’s company and the beauty of the sea, house, and gardens. Jenny is a most welcoming and helpful host. She is available to answer any question, make recommendations (she recommended a fabulous chef to cook for us) and give local advice on where to hike or find necessities."

The garden
Has a salt water infinity pool (13x4m) and heated jacuzzi. There are six huge terraces all with sea views and the grounds are very well landscaped, having many mature tropical plants and palm trees.

The well illuminated dining room has seating for 10 and is split level, with steps down to the spacious living room below.
There are two sets of French windows - one leading from the living room on to a covered terrace, and the other from the dining room on to an open outdoor dining area.
An additional feature is a central fireplace and there is also a home cinema and stereo system which can be programmed to any desired language.

Located on the top floor. A huge double bedroom with king size bed, large dressing room and bathroom en-suite with a wraparound terrace overlooking the med coastline from Málaga to Fuengirola.

A second south west facing huge bedroom on the top floor with twin beds, an en-suite bathroom, fitted wardrobe and its own very large terrace also with stunning views and sheltered seating area.

South facing master bedroom
Third large double bedroom on the first floor with king size bed, en-suite bathroom with sunken bath & shower and fitted wardrobe. Large terrace with ping pong table and shower also with fabulous views.

Located on first floor. Spacious twin-bedded room with en-suite bathroom (also with sunken bath and twin basins), walk in closet and balcony overlooking the central courtyard and panoramic sea views.

This outdoor relaxing tropical courtyard can be accessed from the kitchen and main entrance and provides a cool retreat from the hot summer sun.

Fabulous kitchen/breakfast room
Very spacious and fully fitted with cherry wood cabinets and granite surfaces with glass sliding doors opening from dining area to one of the many south facing terraces and on the other side to the indoor courtyard. It has 2 fridges, one of them for wines! Seats eight people comfortably and for additional seating there is a central island and a bbq terrace off the kitchen which is ideal for al fresco dining.

Next to the garden there is a storage room with beach games and access to a changing room with a refrigerator.

Access to a covered garage with space for up to three cars and a laundry room adjoining the kitchen.

They were full of advice and quick to offer tips for restaurants/places to go etc. From the minute we booked, Louise was in constant contact. Anyone seriously considering a trip to Benalmadena but looking to be located in a more peaceful location with the hustle and bustle only 15 mins away then this place is perfect.
