Its 299 m2 of interior surface are divided into six bedrooms, all of them with hot/cold AC. One bedroom has two double beds, one has an individual bed and a bunk bed, and the other four bedrooms are provided with two single beds each. The six bathrooms with shower are all ensuite. You will also find a very cosy living room with fireplace and a mini-bar. The kitchen is 40 m2 wide, and it is provided with all the facilities you'll need. Moreover, it communicates with the barbecue area through an interior door.

Vliegveld Malaga ligt mooi dichtbij. Echt een top locatie en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Het enige kleine min puntje was dat er op de site staat dat electrische inbegrepen was en dat is deels zo tot 200kilowatt en daarna moet je er voor betalen. Dat is niet erg, maar wij hadden het graag ergens vermeld gezien op de site."

We were two couples and decided not to hire a car as we were going for a relaxing week and didn't intend doing much while there, Helen helped with us booking a return taxi from Airport to Villa and continued to be helpful with our shopping needs too which we really appreciated. Helen and Alan were on hand if we needed them but never intrusive. The villa has everything you need for a perfect holiday, and is of a very high standard and very comfortable. The Pool is to die for.... very clean and spacious and we made great use of it every day, and use of the BBQ most days. If you are looking for something in the thick of things with loads to do then I would say its maybe not for you, if you are looking for a relaxing heaven then we would thoroughly recommend this place. This holiday rental offers a lovely spot to spend your holidays, where you and your family can stay and make the most of its rural setting and closeness to spectacular Andalusian landmarks, such as the Caminito del Rey.

The cosiness of the rental is enhanced by the light-wooden furniture and comforts provided inside the house. The dining-living room, which is the first room you will enter, features comfortable sofas, a brick-built fireplace and a dining table; at the end of the living room, an independent kitchen is located, which ensures you will cook anything you like. This is a beautiful remote tranquil villa surrounded by 5 hectares of olive and almond groves plus other fruit trees in the immediate gardens around the villa. Help yourself to any ripe fruits. Although nestling in the mountains near Alora the villa is only 15 minutes from civilisation. The villa is equipped with all the modern appliances you need. All you need to do is throw some clothes in a bag. This three bedroom villa is solely for theuse of 2 guests. No one else to bother you. There is also the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath.
The ancient white washed town of Alora is steeped in history. The area was settled since prehistorical times, and was exploited for its commercial position by Tartessos and by the Phoenicians, who most likely built the castle. The Romans, after their conquest of Spain, restored the fortress and had here a municipium known as Iluritanum, as attested by an inscription dating to 79 BC. Nowadays there is plenty to see and do and a great selection of restaurants and bars. This is also a great location to explore great Spanish attractions nearby, El Chorro Gorge, Caminito del Rey walkway and of course the beautiful lakes . The coast is 45 minutes away by car or train.

- "We had a lovely 8 days at Villa Van Gogh. Communication with Derek was timely and he provided comprehensive instructions. There is a reasonable drive up into the moi trains and we were grateful that Pepe met us at a nearby restaurant to guide us up to the villa. The property is fantastic and has the most amazing views over the valley. The infinity pool was a perfect size for the two of us and provided some much needed cooling from the ever present sun. The aircon in the bedroom was excellent and there was also a fantastic spa bath which was wonderful after a day in the sun. We were initially worried about shade around the pool from the pictures, but there was loads of good shade throughout the day and movable umbrellas invade required in the pool. The three bedrooms all have aircon and although the main living area of the house doesn’t, don’t let that put you off as the downstairs of the house remained cool even in 40oC plus heat. As someone else has also noted, the beds are either single or double, so little snug, but as there are multiple beds in each room, my wife and I just pushed two single beds together and used that. Kitchen ideal with everything you need and there’s also an outdoor cooking area with a gas grill, pizza oven & wood paella cooking area. Alora itself is lovely - extremely tight roads so if you hire a car, I’d recommend paying extra insurance ha. A lot more holiday shops than we first thought, so explore the town by foot a little and you’ll be suprised what you’ll find that might be useful. Aside from Mercadona (supermarket), there are loads of smaller ones too. There’s one British bar (Maria’s) and even a British shop - that said, the local Spanish eateries are amazing. It’s located about an hour from Ronda, 1:45hr from Granada, 40mins from Malaga and 50mins from Marbella. Would highly recommend a stay in Alora, lovely house, lovely hosts and a memorable holiday."

Great house and a peaceful experience." - "Nestled in the hills above the historical white Andalusian village of Alora. This tranquil retreat was ours for a week in June. The facilities of which only pail into insignificance compared to the hostess with the mostest, the wonderful owner Angel, who made our stay just perfect, attending to our every question and need with kindness and thoughtfulness. This house is the perfect get away from it all retreat, the only noise you will hear is birdsong and the faint jingling of goat bells. The villa has a panoramic vista of the mountains, and the village, perfect for relaxing and whiling away an afternoon in the sunshine with your favourite read. The swimming pool was delightful and a perfect way to cool down. The house facilities were spotless, and the shaded terrace idyllic, covered in sweet scented jasmine and colourful spring flowers. We had several trips out, the most memorable of which was the beautiful turquoise lakes, although El Churro is on the tourist trail, our hostess with local knowledge informed us of a far nicer lake at Ardales, the most beautiful setting you could wish for. We would highly recommend this wonderful house and will definitely be back."

Then, go back to the house and enjoy the comforts provided and the lovely outdoors in the evening. You'll get the best of both worlds.

Inside, the house features rustic decoration, characterised by wooden beams in the ceiling, wooden furniture and brick details. The dining-living room, which you will find once you enter the holiday home, shares space with the coquettish kitchen, and it relies on a comfortable sofa facing the fireplace, and a 5-place dining table. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds, let you recharge your batteries and sleep as much as you want. A bathroom with walk-in shower completes the indoor facilities of the house. Lastly, an extra single bed is available inside the house, thus raising the maximum capacity to five guests.

- "What an incredible place, and gracious hosts! First, Roberto took the time to give very explicit directions to the property specific to using either Apple maps or Google maps. As we weren't sure exactly when we would get there, they left keys in a lockbox for us. All this made arrival very easy. The house and grounds were spotless! Roberto and Clara left us with drinks, snacks, and even fresh lemons. The view from the pool deck is amazing in 360°! We stood and took it in for about 30 mins before even checking out the bedrooms! They had pool towels and blowup toys. There are pool chairs, umbrellas, and an outdoor shower. The pool was beautiful and very clean. Inside, the beds were comfy and the AC in the rooms was strong and cold. The living areas were comfortable and most of the time kept cool by opening the shutters and letting the breeze blow through. The location was great. We went to see the lakes NW of Alora (20 mins). Ronda just over an hour. Malaga and coast 30-40 mins. Check out was as simple as locking the keys back in the lockbox at the gate. We couldn't have been happier and highly recommend this property! We hope to come back!"
