Vliegveld Malaga ligt mooi dichtbij. Echt een top locatie en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Het enige kleine min puntje was dat er op de site staat dat electrische inbegrepen was en dat is deels zo tot 200kilowatt en daarna moet je er voor betalen. Dat is niet erg, maar wij hadden het graag ergens vermeld gezien op de site."

We were two couples and decided not to hire a car as we were going for a relaxing week and didn't intend doing much while there, Helen helped with us booking a return taxi from Airport to Villa and continued to be helpful with our shopping needs too which we really appreciated. Helen and Alan were on hand if we needed them but never intrusive. The villa has everything you need for a perfect holiday, and is of a very high standard and very comfortable. The Pool is to die for.... very clean and spacious and we made great use of it every day, and use of the BBQ most days. If you are looking for something in the thick of things with loads to do then I would say its maybe not for you, if you are looking for a relaxing heaven then we would thoroughly recommend this place. This is a beautiful remote tranquil villa surrounded by 5 hectares of olive and almond groves plus other fruit trees in the immediate gardens around the villa. Help yourself to any ripe fruits. Although nestling in the mountains near Alora the villa is only 15 minutes from civilisation. The villa is equipped with all the modern appliances you need. All you need to do is throw some clothes in a bag. This three bedroom villa is solely for theuse of 2 guests. No one else to bother you. There is also the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath.
The ancient white washed town of Alora is steeped in history. The area was settled since prehistorical times, and was exploited for its commercial position by Tartessos and by the Phoenicians, who most likely built the castle. The Romans, after their conquest of Spain, restored the fortress and had here a municipium known as Iluritanum, as attested by an inscription dating to 79 BC. Nowadays there is plenty to see and do and a great selection of restaurants and bars. This is also a great location to explore great Spanish attractions nearby, El Chorro Gorge, Caminito del Rey walkway and of course the beautiful lakes . The coast is 45 minutes away by car or train.

There is a reasonable drive up into the moi trains and we were grateful that Pepe met us at a nearby restaurant to guide us up to the villa. The property is fantastic and has the most amazing views over the valley. The infinity pool was a perfect size for the two of us and provided some much needed cooling from the ever present sun. The aircon in the bedroom was excellent and there was also a fantastic spa bath which was wonderful after a day in the sun. The house has three double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two with single beds.
The house also has a bathroom with shower, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen.

Outside there is a large garden area around the swimming pool and a complete barbecue area. The estate where the house is located measures 10.000 square metres of which 1000 metres are manicured gardens and is cultivated with lemons, oranges and grapefruit. The main attraction outside is a centenary walnut tree whose shade invites you to take a relaxing break.

The swimming pool is divided into two areas for adults and children and the location of the house is ideal for visits to the beach or to the capital of the Costa del Sol.
