A few minutes after I received an email from Peartree Hill if I had any special requests. We arrived late at night and was greeted by Avril. She was so kind and had everything ready for us. I had a really long day traveling behind me and a hospital visit so I simply fell into probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. When I awoke I was looking at a beautiful view of Scrabo Tower and the stunning Irish countryside. A complete state of the art en-suite bathroom complete with floor heating. Strong WiFi, fridge, wide screen TV. Although I spent most of my time in the hospital, when I would come home I needed nothing. The room was cleaned, beds were made and Avril even placed a small jug of fresh milk in the fridge for my cup of morning tea. It was such a relief just not to have to worry about anything apart from the reason why I was there. If you are an author or screenwriter this is a hidden hideaway. Complete peace and quiet. It’s 10 minutes from Belfast City Center and 10 minutes to the East coast. They say every cloud has a silver lining. Well, I lost my father but found a new home away from home. - "Fabulous location but the unit itself needs some work, particularly in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the window shade is covered in mold so couldn't roll it down for privacy, and the bathtub is mold heaven. Not sure what the brown/bloody looking ooze was that was dripping from the tile, but it was gross. And the bottom of the bathtub skirt was not actually attached to the floor, so water just soaked right under there and sat. no way to clean it. so there has to be so much mold in there. The rest of the place is fine and worked great for our stay. "

The decor, comfort, welcome, food, cleanliness, location, recommendations, assistance - everything - was wonderful. I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels. - "First impression the property was good near a Spar supermarket and walkable to the centre maybe 15 mins. A comedy club and night life in walking distance . The facilities were good for cooking . My main problem was the TV kept losing signal didn’t manage to watch one programme throughout and the main bedroom had a damp smell. as there was a damp patch on the bedroom wall that needs treating and you could smell it also it being a health hazard. I could not have slept in that room. There was a bed settle in the living room was that came in useful. Behind the settee needs cleaning noticed this when leaving but the rest of the house was clean. With the TV sorted and the damp patch it spoilt the property and both need attention had to stream programmes to watch in the end "

- "Warm welcome from the hosts and super location for visiting the giant’s causeway " - "Located very close to Giant's Causeway (30 minute walk) and the view from the house is spectacular even on a rainy day. Very welcoming host. My room was spotless and warm with tea and coffee making facilities and fresh water. A choice of teas and fresh water are available in the dining room 24 hours a day .A comfortable living room to relax in . I enjoyed a breakfast of fruit, yogurt, cereal and toast with coffee. All fresh and a variety of fruit available.Very close to Bushmills and a great restaurant very close by. A great find and I'd definitely book here again."
