A few minutes after I received an email from Peartree Hill if I had any special requests. We arrived late at night and was greeted by Avril. She was so kind and had everything ready for us. I had a really long day traveling behind me and a hospital visit so I simply fell into probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. When I awoke I was looking at a beautiful view of Scrabo Tower and the stunning Irish countryside. A complete state of the art en-suite bathroom complete with floor heating. Strong WiFi, fridge, wide screen TV. Although I spent most of my time in the hospital, when I would come home I needed nothing. The room was cleaned, beds were made and Avril even placed a small jug of fresh milk in the fridge for my cup of morning tea. It was such a relief just not to have to worry about anything apart from the reason why I was there. If you are an author or screenwriter this is a hidden hideaway. Complete peace and quiet. It’s 10 minutes from Belfast City Center and 10 minutes to the East coast. They say every cloud has a silver lining. Well, I lost my father but found a new home away from home. Unfortunately, the window shade is covered in mold so couldn't roll it down for privacy, and the bathtub is mold heaven. Not sure what the brown/bloody looking ooze was that was dripping from the tile, but it was gross. And the bottom of the bathtub skirt was not actually attached to the floor, so water just soaked right under there and sat. no way to clean it. so there has to be so much mold in there. The rest of the place is fine and worked great for our stay. "

My main problem was the TV kept losing signal didn’t manage to watch one programme throughout and the main bedroom had a damp smell. as there was a damp patch on the bedroom wall that needs treating and you could smell it also it being a health hazard. I could not have slept in that room. There was a bed settle in the living room was that came in useful. Behind the settee needs cleaning noticed this when leaving but the rest of the house was clean. With the TV sorted and the damp patch it spoilt the property and both need attention had to stream programmes to watch in the end "

Clean, modern, contemporary house in quiet, residential area. The side alley separates the house from the neighbours so you cannot hear them in the room. The street is very quiet and hardly any cars pass by.

Single room in a quiet 3 bedroom house which is walking distance to Belfast City Centre and has Ormeau Road, Ormeau Park and Cherryvale Park on its doorstep. The bus stop to the city centre is actually right outside the house, so super convenient!

I share the house with my partner Danijel - we stay there 2-3 days per week.

Very occasionally I may travel there with my dog, but I'll always check with you first that its okay!

There are tea and coffee facilities in the room.A self serve continental breafast is available downstairs in a breakfast room especially designated for guests .There is a twin room next door which would be ideal for families , which can be booked separately. NI Tourist Board approached many of the popular Airbnb properties including myself and therefore my property is now registered as a Tourist Board approved Bed & Breakfast.

Recently refurbished 3 storey house in a quiet street on the Ormeau Road. The house is located approx 10 min walk from the centre of Belfast. It is also located near to Queen's quarter and is thus approx 10 mins walk from Belfast's famous University

The space
Set over 3 floors, the house is spacious, bright, inviting, carefully decorated throughout and clean white linens and towels. You’ll have free access to the dining room, kitchen and covered yard (with chairs) on the ground floor. Upstairs, you’ll find the modern bathroom and the bedrooms. The double rooms consist of a double bed with fresh bed linen, reading lamp, free high speed Wi-Fi access, and hair-dryer. All rooms are non-smoking but you are welcome to smoke in the enclosed back yard. Each room will also come with a welcome pack filled with brochures, taxi numbers, internet password, maps and recommendations for bars and restaurants in the area and within Belfast city centre.
The living/dining room has a settee and dining table to enjoy your meals. Gas heating with hot water 24/7, the shower and toilet is shared with the other guests staying. Free parking in the street.

Belfast is great for a city break with excellent museums, galleries, shopping, architecture, nightlife and the fantastic Titanic experience and Quarter. Not forgetting the beautiful grounds of Belfast Castle which is also home to Belfast Zoo and Cavehill walk with spectacular views of Belfast City and Lough, this is a 20 minute drive from the house or you can hoop on a bus. For The Game of Thrones fans you can enjoy a day up the Antrim Coast and see where different parts of the series where filmed, you can enjoy the drive up or sit back and enjoy the Game of Thrones bus tour that leaves from Belfast City Centre. The Antrim Coast is also great for the walkers and people just wanting to enjoy the spectacular coast line. So as you can see there is so much to do in Belfast and that’s only a few I have mentioned. This house is a great base to start exploring Belfast and surrounding areas. I look forward to welcoming you.
