The property is a three bedroom semi-detached house. It is situated in the attractive town of Portstewart on the majestic north coast. The town has a picturesque harbour and promenade with a two-mile long beach. On the Promenade you will find a children play area, paddling pool and more. The house is off the main road , literally about a six minute/0.8km walk to the Promenade.
There is an open plan Living/Dining Area and a separate Kitchen downstairs, with two double and one single (with sturdy bunks) bedrooms upstairs. The living/dining area, hall and upstairs bedrooms all have wooden floors. The stairs and landing are carpeted. Outside there is a garage where you can hang your wet suits, store your surfboards, bicycles, etc. There is quite a large front side garden and enclosed side and rear gardens to keep the little ones safe. On the rear patio there is garden furniture (table and chairs). Fuel for the fire is also available in the coal-house. Wi-fi is available.

There are so many things to see and do in the area and beyond. Here are a few suggestions;

- Stroll down to the Promenade and peruse the shops
- Walk from the house, over the hill to the coastal path, the Strand, Barmouth or the Promenade and beyond.
- Play bowls, tennis, putting, golf or surf on Portstewart Strand Within a few miles there are Golf courses in Portstewart (3), Portrush (2), Bushmills and a 9 hole course between the two Ports.
- to the east visit Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery, Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope Bridge, Ballycastle and Rathlin Island. (Bring your National Trust Card)
- to the west visit Mussenden Temple and Downhill Demesne for a walk.(One of the most photographed scenes in Ireland)
- Travel by train from Coleraine to Derry/Londonderry, one of Michael Palin’s Great Railway Journeys. Walk on the historic Derry walls.
- A ferry will take you from Magilligan to Greencastle in Donegal where you can go for a wonderful days drive round the Inishowen Peninsula. (Check with local Tourist Information Office that ferry is running)
- You must check out the Antrim Coast Road, described as 'one of the top 5 driving trips in the world'.
- A day trip to our capitol, Belfast, is only about 1 hour 15 minutes away.

Upstairs there is a large sitting room with central wood burning stove. The sitting areas have lots of natural light and large picture windows with great sea views. French doors open into the dining kitchen area which also has a large picture window with sea views. Sliding glass doors open out from the sitting rooms onto a large balcony which has a table and chairs and a Weber charcoal BBQ. There are concrete steps leading down to a patio and pebbled garden.
There are lots of sitting areas and a smart TV.
Downstairs there are four bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room with toilet. There is a smart TV and a king sized bed and glass doors leading onto the patio. Two other bedrooms have each got a king sized bed and one has glass doors opening onto the patio and garden. One room has now got 2 single beds. There is a bathroom with shower bath toilet and basin.There is a utility room with washing machine and sink. There is a door under the stairs which leads into the garage which has a tumble dryer and hooks for drying and storing equipment etc. There is also a small pool table for the kids to have fun with. There are usually various sizes of wet suits belonging to my family which you may borrow. There are also some folding deck chairs and a sun lounger which you can use to sit at the front of the house. Outside at the front of the house there is parking for 3 cars. The pool table has been taken out of the garage now and is kept in the store/ boiler room under the balcony and will be brought outside on to paved area under the balcony in the spring summertime. First floor with just 12 stairs up. Instant heat from gas, cooking on gas and electric oven and washing and tumble dryer there to use after those days on the beach or rain soaked round on the links. The apartment is perfect for long weekends or week long stays and the visitor book is full of " we will come back" comments as well as "fantastic view". Second bedroom has two single beds with a ward-robe between and like the other bigger bedroom is at the back and very very quiet at night. TV and DVD player in place and the 4G reception is very good. BT customers can pick up a wifi hotspot with ease. Five mins walk away are excellent cafes only too happy to share their wifi login. The seating in the lounge makes the most of the big windows and when you are easing into your stay on the sofa, it feels as if you are looking out from the deck of a cruise ship. There is free and secure parking at the rear of the property and a bus stop to events like The Open is a five minute stroll. Portstewart strand is one of the best beaches in Ireland, with over a mile of glorious sand and dunes to walk, decent waves for surfing or paddle boarding and a shallow nature for younger adventurers. The town has a relaxed feel with a hint of hipness and like Portrush has boomed since the widespead sales of wet-suits. Several good places to eat on your doorstep and the anchor bar is a classic of its kind and not to be missed.
