Our Apartment Vistamar 2 is located in the quiet residential area of Cumbre del Sol (Benitachell, Alicante), just a few minutes by car from the old fishing village of Moraira, which is now a pleasant beach resort with great atmosphere, nice beaches and a wide choice of restaurants which cater for all tastes.
From the terrace of the apartment you can enjoy the magnificent sunrises over the sea and on particularly clear days you can even see the island of Ibiza in the distance. The facility includes two spectacular infinity pools overlooking the coastline, one of them with a small separate area for toddlers. Cumbre del Sol is located right next to the Granadella Natural Park with its beautiful walking routes and next to some of the best beaches and hiking trails on the Costa Blanca, such as the Moraig Cove, the Granadella Cove and the Route of the Cliffs, a wild romantic walk high above the sea to a lonely former smuggler's bay. - "Having been a short-term rental host myself, I really appreciate when I stay in a place where you can tell the owner cares. This is one of those places. Plenty of blankets for all (including throw blankets for the couch), little things like the proper knives for cooking and wine corks (very important! :). There are plenty of things to do in the area especially if you love nature - peaceful hiking paths and country lanes. Gandia has an interesting museum focusing on the Borgias along with restaurants and beaches to enjoy. Thank you Marianne for a great visit and a wonderfully outfitted condo! We had a great time and the location is gorgeous and otherworldly."

The private terrace is ideal for al fresco eating, sunbathing or simply relaxing with a drink and enjoying the stunning views ... or cool off in one of the two infinity-edge swimming pools exclusively for residents' use (only 25 metres from the apartment). Local facilities: supermarket, pharmacy/medical centre, bar and snack bar and the highly recommended La Cumbre Restaurant which also has its own communal pool and small outside bar for tapas and drinks. Adjoining the area is the spectacular Granadella National Park which is ideal for walkers and climbers. There is also scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, tennis, karting, riding, boat trips, and golf courses nearby. - "We stayed for 16 days and enjoyed every moment. It was easy to drive both directions towards Alicant and Valencia for short trips. Overall it gave us more than we expected in a very positive way." - "The apartment is situated in the hillside with beautiful views over the Mediterranean and nearest pueblos. It is a steep climb, so a car would be necesssary. It is also very nice hiking/biking possibilities nearby. The closest pueblos and towns are relaxed and you can go to numerous nice towns and beaches within 30 mins by car. We travelled with a one-year old and found the beaches in Denia (La Marina) and Moraira most suitable, however the Cala Moraig is also an extraordinary cove worth visiting. The apartment looks to be recently refurbished and appears in perfect condition. Kitchen is very well equipped with all necessities for cooking all meals. A/C turned the apartment cool within minutes after turning it on. We enjoyed long breakfasts with the views on the balcony (you see the sunrise in the morning) and late dinners. The swimming pool were really nice, also with panorama views towards the valley and sea. Always clean, quiet and almost no other guests, even during the high season. The hosts did everything to make sure the stay was enjoyable, and even bought a baby chair just for us. Even if we didn't have the need any assistance, it was comfortable to have a contact person in one of the neighboring apartments, just in case. We are definitely choosing this apartment any day if ending up in the same area in the future."

The sun room was a particular highlight for us, together with breakfasts in the dining room with its panoramic view. Heating is via air conditioning units, rather than the radiators, but a generous electricity allowance is included in the rent. There is a good restaurant within walking distance, and more in Benitachell which is just a five minute drive. I would say a car is essential for a stay anywhere in Cumbre del Sol, as public transport is very limited. Certainly a place we will return to in the future."

- "A lovely villa with the perfect pool, location and orientation for the sun." - "A very special villa with great amenities. We were 2 families of 4 with kids aged 18 months - 4yrs. They loved the pool as did the adults. Very spacious and deep too. The outside kitchen and downstairs rooms are fantastic. The upstairs rooms and kitchen lounge are homely and slightly more dates than the newly done downstairs but none the less super Usable and it worked great to give each family some privacy. There are a lot of stone steps about so little people need watching but it’s worth it. The view is incredible across the valley to the sea and mountains the sunsets spectacular. We had one super windy day that was a surprise but I’m told not uncommon. The location is fab up on the hillside with Javea and Moraira in easy reach. All in all a lovely stay! Thank you."
