My room was big with a lovely terrace, did not have a direct sea view but a lovely one. Bathroom was dated but fully functional. - "We stayed for 5 days as part of a longer trip. It's 3 star so didn't expect to much. The staff were a bit hit and miss. Some were brilliant others not helpful at all. The room was OK apart from the balcony. Which was more like a prison exercise yard. As it had 4 walls and no balcony. More like an enclosed terrace. Shame because being on the 9th floor the views would of been brilliant. The hotel mainly caters for Spanish. So being British we were low priority. That said the facilities were good with indoor and outdoor pools. And sauna and jacuzzi. Also the location was great right by Calpe beach. With loads of bars restaurants around. Also the hotel has a car park for €11 a day which if driving or hiring a car is handy. Overall it is a good hotel just for us personally the balcony and some staff. Made the stay less enjoyable. Oh and also the catering in the restaurant for breakfast was great. Even had proper UK sausages and hp sauce 😂👍"

The location is extremely noisy. The noisiest place I have ever stayed at. There’s no air conditioning so the room window must be left open to get ventilation, and this means listening to the noise from a number of bars, restaurants and children’s playground well into the early hours of the morning. Even with headphones in, and music playing, the noise from outside was unbearable It was 1:30am on a Thursday night when all the noise stopped. But then at 6am, the noise started up again, as cleaners jet washed the entire public area right outside the bedroom window. Unbelievable. On top of that the bed linen had wet patches, the towels supplied were still wet, the room smelt bad, the toilet was not functioning properly, and there was mould around the sink and shower. There was also no free parking at the hostel, despite the online description. We spent ages finding a free parking spot on a street a few minutes walk away. If it were not for the noise, which admittedly the hostel cannot really control, it would have been worth the money. But with the noise, you won’t be able to sleep and so I cannot recommend this place."

- "Just to clarify - I put "ok" for communications, thinking this referred to the wifi. If it means emails or staff interactions then I`d change that to "excellent". The apartment was a bit tired in decor and not designed to the best advantage, however, it was functional and fit for purpose and fulfilled all our needs to a good level. Good views as it was sea facing and on the 16th floor. The security was good. Lifts functional (thank goodness) if rather noisy. The staff did everything possible to be helpful and accommodating and were cheerful and friendly too. The beds (like most in Spanish apartments) were a bit on the hard side and lurched when you got into them, ensuring a disturbed night for both of us. Twin beds would be better for us. Very convenient location for us as we were attending a barbershop event being held next door in the AR Diamante. Good local cafés and lovely beach close by."

We spent most time around the pool, which has a nice outside bar area with a cooler for all your drinks. Our kids loved the pool and all the toys in the childrens bedroom. - "10/10 for Villa Scina! The villa itself was beautiful- Clean, fully equipped and spacious! The pool area certainly had the wow factor! We spent most of our time in and around the pool, cooking on the outside grill and eating al fresco. The ‘pool guy’ came twice a week to maintain the pool. Scina and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. They met us when we arrived and showed us around the villa explaining everything we needed to know and were at the other end of the phone if needed. They gave us good recommendations for car hire, places to visit etc. Calpe itself is lovely. Plenty to do and see locally for those that want to venture out of the Villa. Beach, shops, restaurants etc. We enjoyed snorkelling around the coves at the beach, my husband climbed the famous rock and we tried a handful of the restaurants on the sea front. Perfect position to have dinner, look out onto the beach and watch the world go by. We wouldn’t think twice about rebooking with Scina. We know now how professionally she runs her rental business and that she has other villas. We would love to return with friends and family in the future and know we will be well looked after! - "We had a wonderfull holiday in this beautifull house. Everything you need is present. We felt directly at home in this cosy decorated house. The location makes walks to shops and beach peanuts. The owners are kind and helpful people who are always available for information about the region or other aid. One day the wifi was out, next day they made sure it was repaired and it worked great. The Villa is situated in a cul-de-sac with very little traffic noise, to the side of the villa overlooks the natural green forest area.
Views of the famous Ifach Rock known as Natural Park of Penyal d'Ifac and the expansive Mediterranean Sea can be enjoyed from the lower and upper terraces, which are south facing.

Good quality sun-beds and swing seating are located in a pleasant lawned area (artificial) adjacent to a private outdoor south facing pool. On a hot the day/evening there is extra cover under a motorised awning and a Gazebo where you can prepare a barbeque meal and with easy access to the kitchen side entrance just a few steps away.

Floodlit outdoor lighting around the Garden and Pool area, illuminating the feature Palm umbrellas and other exotic plantation along with the LED pool lights.

Car Parking and Access:

Ste is an amazing host with great communication throughout. 10mins by car from central Calpe, yet very private and quiet. A very well stocked kitchen ( appliances ) and great tech.
