- "I was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews for this hotel. The hotel has been painted and looks basic but ok. My room was big with a lovely terrace, did not have a direct sea view but a lovely one. Bathroom was dated but fully functional. The bed was comfortable, some reviews were saying it was hard but i found it perfectly confortable. If you're on the large side you may disagree but for us it was perfectly fine. Breakfast was varied, something to suit everyone except those on a diet, eggs, bacon and sausages quite greasy, the only protein. Overall for the price I loved the hotel, it had everything we needed."

Food was very good catering for a whole range of european tastes as the clientelle were varied - we only met one other English couple which was fine - we enjoyed trying to converse. The spa side of the hotel is something else - and lovely treatments if you wanted to spoil yourself. A nice courtesy bus to the town of Calpe - all in all an amazing holiday - the Manager of the Hotel is superb made time to speak to all the clientelle. If you want a quiet break this is the place away from it all. I have already recommended to friends. A great place for a 3 -5 day spa break."

- "Just to clarify - I put "ok" for communications, thinking this referred to the wifi. If it means emails or staff interactions then I`d change that to "excellent". The apartment was a bit tired in decor and not designed to the best advantage, however, it was functional and fit for purpose and fulfilled all our needs to a good level. Good views as it was sea facing and on the 16th floor. The security was good. Lifts functional (thank goodness) if rather noisy. The staff did everything possible to be helpful and accommodating and were cheerful and friendly too. The beds (like most in Spanish apartments) were a bit on the hard side and lurched when you got into them, ensuring a disturbed night for both of us. Twin beds would be better for us. Very convenient location for us as we were attending a barbershop event being held next door in the AR Diamante. Good local cafés and lovely beach close by."

The apartment has excellent WiFi coverage. All the equipment within the apartment is excellent quality and works as described. The location is perfect for exploring Calpe with a small beach literally directly in front of the apartment. The apartment block has a lift and underground garage however, parking is also available to the rear of the property. We couldn't fault anything about this property and have booked for next year already."
