This is important because it was so hot guests were fighting over the shaded areas - I left our lounger for 30 minutes - when I came back the receptionist had removed our stuff because another guest wanted to be in the shade. The hotel claims to have a fitness centre- that's now closed and not re-opening. The breakfast is like Aldi catered it, coffee from a vending machine and lots of low quality cake. This is a 3 star hotel so we didn't expect luxury but you can do reasonable rates and a decent breakfast. Also, lifts are tiny so if you're on the top floor waiting time is around 10 to 15 minutes at busy times. If you want to know what it was like to holiday in the 1980s then stay here."

- "We had a perfect stay at La Gastrocasa! The building is a little gem - a family home filled with art and books. The location is very good tucked away from the busy beach and town n a quiet corner with thoroughbred horses for neighbours. And the food was delicious - breakfast was endless and for dinner - our choice shopped for daily at the local market. Agus and his family (and Fatima!) were the perfect hosts and created a delightful experience while taking full Covid precautions; we always felt safe in their care. Looking forward to our next visit!"

‘Florida’ is a beautiful apartment located in Gandia beach, 200m away from it. It has room for 4 people in two separates bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, 1 en suite. The apartment has a huge balcony terraced for 4 people seating, where you can sit and enjoy the view of the sea or the communal pool and garden. The apartment is fully equipped with TV, kitchen (full equipped), towels, linen. From the kitchen, there are views to the mountains. The resort has a big pool surrounded by a garden and trees, ideal for relaxing on your holidays. There is also tennis court and private parking place. The view to the sea is from the living room, terrace and main double room. ‘Florida’ is very well located in Gandia beach, because it is only a 1 minute walk to the promenade and it´s just in the centre of the beach, so it is very well located for access to all the amenities. In winter we can offer you a heated pool in another building that we own.

Weather was remarkable. The owner met us about the Florida complex as we also agreed. He led us to apartments, showed apartments, explained everything and showed the place of the car parking. Apartments include 3 bedrooms, a spacious, light drawing room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and a big terrace with a beautiful view. The kitchen is completely equipped by all necessary. The owner's attitude towards guests can be estimated on 5 +++. One example: we had problems with Wi-Fi in one of days. I called the owner and this problem was solved very quickly. And still there is a big pool which is open even in October, and we could enjoy swimming both early in the morning, and late at evening. We very much want to return here the next year. And, of course, the main thing is a warm sea (even in October) and the magnificent beach."

The apartment is spacious and the description / photos are accurate. Carolina responded to all my messages quickly and is very nice. The beach is lovely to run along with an open / wide path which is very nice. We had some really good food. We would recommend the apartment, it was spotless, a sunny large balcony and very big. The pool is clean and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again."
