All in all, it was an amazing vacation and I plan on visiting again! "

We would be happy to return again and really enjoyed our stay. " - "Being honest, we had wanted a short trip where we could soak up some sun (being from the UK) and didn't have to leave the property we were staying in, eventually we landed on Paradisus and I'm so glad we did. The hotel is beautiful, very unique architecture and well maintained, it definitely has 'wow' factor. The large pool area is immaculate as well as being lovely and quiet (probably down to it being January but the fact that it's adults only didn't hurt). There is have beautiful live music playing during some meal-times, during the day and entertainment in the evenings which adds to the relaxing ambiance of the hotel. Dailos welcomed us when we arrived and is just the loveliest person, although all the staff were extremely friendly and courteous throughout the stay. The room was quite basic and a bit of a struggle if you're working while away as the table is quite small but it was very clean and comfortable. There are 3 restaurants on site, we had heard the Italian was the best but that was our least favourite of the 3 (maybe we just ordered wrong), both La Graciosa (local cuisine) and Samira (middle-eastern) were impeccable. We used the buffet on two evenings and felt that was the only part of the stay that didn't feel up to the 5* rating; it was a typical buffet with things being a bit cold and not a huge selection but overall we were happy with the stay and felt the all-inclusive aspect to be well worth the cost. Hotel is bang in the centre of town and it is a few minutes walk to the beach, lava pools or outdoor swimming pool. Couldn't ask for a nicer hotel to spend the holiday. She phoned me the day before departure to ask what time we were leaving so that she could arrange our taxi and to let us know we could stay in the apartment until we left for the airport (there’s no charge for staying in the room). A special mention has to go to the cleaners, these ladies have worked at Villa Canaima for many years and always have a friendly smile and wave as they come and go.
