- "This is a gorgeous hotel which is very well maintained, with a fabulous seafront location. What really stands out though is the staff. They are all really friendly and courteous and nothing is too much trouble for them. From the housekeeping staff, reception, restaurant and bar staff, everyone was so welcoming. They all appeared happy in their work! The rooms were spacious, we had an interconnecting room which was ideal for travel with 2 teenagers. Evening entertainment was excellent. There were always pool beds available, even on busy days. The main pool is seawater so it is cold but we managed to use it . We were all inclusive. The food in the buffet restaurant was excellent and varied. If I had one ‘complaint’ about this hotel, it would be that it is absolutely huge and very spread out, with long walking to get anywhere within the hotel. - "5 star but still very family friendly and accommodating. The staff were lovely, especially in kids clubs. Great facilities and high quality activities for kids . They won't want to leave the complex. We had a junior suite with lovely sea view and it was large and luxurious with a very much seperate but connected sleeping area for 2 children. Buffet selection was great, lots of options and high quality. I would have liked to have fresh water and coffee dispensers at all meals, rather than just breakfast. We would be happy to return again and really enjoyed our stay. " - "Being honest, we had wanted a short trip where we could soak up some sun (being from the UK) and didn't have to leave the property we were staying in, eventually we landed on Paradisus and I'm so glad we did. The hotel is beautiful, very unique architecture and well maintained, it definitely has 'wow' factor. The large pool area is immaculate as well as being lovely and quiet (probably down to it being January but the fact that it's adults only didn't hurt). There is have beautiful live music playing during some meal-times, during the day and entertainment in the evenings which adds to the relaxing ambiance of the hotel. Dailos welcomed us when we arrived and is just the loveliest person, although all the staff were extremely friendly and courteous throughout the stay. The room was quite basic and a bit of a struggle if you're working while away as the table is quite small but it was very clean and comfortable. There are 3 restaurants on site, we had heard the Italian was the best but that was our least favourite of the 3 (maybe we just ordered wrong), both La Graciosa (local cuisine) and Samira (middle-eastern) were impeccable. We used the buffet on two evenings and felt that was the only part of the stay that didn't feel up to the 5* rating; it was a typical buffet with things being a bit cold and not a huge selection but overall we were happy with the stay and felt the all-inclusive aspect to be well worth the cost. High cliff location so multiple lifts and steps are required to reach some of the accommodation blocks and facilities. One whole set of lifts was out of action for the duration of our stay but the others were fine. Fabulous views though from the pool area, terrace and rooms. We booked all inclusive option which had great options and food and beverages (including beers and wines). Inside the hotel, there are souvenir shop, mini market, slot machine games & billiards, theater and outdoor facilities (climbing, tennis, basketball, football, golf & volley court Entertainment Activities every day to entertain kids and adults. Also two a la carte restaurants (grill & italian) which are open day by day and need reservation. You can also book boat trips or other external activities and have some personalized photo shoot in support desks inside the hotel. Some things which can be improved are the shampoo & hand soap (no conditioner) which are of low quality and room cleanliness (floor). Our trip was amazing and we will visit the hotel again for sure!"
