- "Amazing staff !!" - "I love it, only problem iw clothes no include, fee " - "I liked it " - "Overall, the hotel was decent, though a bit outdated, and there was no elevator. On our first day, we ran out of hot water, which was particularly inconvenient. We informed the reception, and they resolved it fairly quickly. However, one issue I found disappointing was the lack of transparency in their menu. For instance, I do not eat pork, and during dinner at their gourmet restaurant, I ordered the beef menu with a gratin. Unfortunately, the gratin contained pork, which was not mentioned. This left me quite upset. Another major inconvenience occurred a few days before the end of our stay when the air conditioning stopped working. I reported it to the reception at 8:30 a.m., and someone only came to fix it at 11:30 p.m. Worse, the staff member knocked so quietly before using their key card to enter the room that we didn’t hear them. Unfortunately, my wife and I were in a very private moment, and this intrusion was incredibly embarrassing and unacceptable. While the hotel has its positives, these incidents significantly impacted our experience."

" - "I like everything " - "I initially booked a week in an oceanfront room but decided to extend my stay in Sal after my flight to Praia was canceled. No other resort can compete with the RIU Santa Maria. There are at least three pools, five to six restaurants, 24 hour service. Hotel staff like Nilton at reception and the ladies at the coffee bar made my solo visit to the island much more enjoyable. The resort sent a bottle of brut to my room in recognition of my birthday (they must have noticed the date on my passport). Book room 6238 in block 6 for beautiful sea views and its proximity to the beach and pools! Also take advantage of the resort spa. Pro tip: download the RIU app to book dinners at the specialty restaurants. Food in the primary dining room is exquisite. Everything is perfect and stunningly clean. The sandy beach in front of the hotel is very clean and well-maintained, and you can go for long walks here. The entire outdoor area of the hotel is also clean and impeccably maintained. I could have easily stayed at the hotel for longer than a week and can recommend it without reservation. Even the proximity to the airport is not a problem, as there is no aircraft noise to be heard. On the contrary: literally less than five minutes passed between collecting my suitcase at the airport and entering the hotel lobby - that is extremely convenient."
